Myer Doncaster

Just went into Myer Doncaster to Estee Lauder counter - the lady was about to start a free makeover on someone (she hadn't started) - I was told in no uncertain terms that I would have to wait until the other girl got back from her break. I said I know exactly what I want - it will only take a.minute or so. She basically said there was nothing she could do about it. No service. I won't be back therr in a hurry!

In the lingerie department & my friend who is elderly (84) was looking for a particular bra. They didn't have it but our sales assistant was amazing - patient, helpful & caring. The lifts weren't working also & all the staff members took time out of assisting customers to help me, my friend & other people.

It is a Myer that is of solid size so you get a double edged sword. You have a wide selection of choice in one spot which is why you are likely going to a department store anyway. The downside is that you usually will have to go hunting down a member of staff as they tend to be posted at certain spots in the store not walking around.

Although staff are friendly and helpful but they shouldn't try to hard sell saying its only on special today (Saturday), even though the special discounted promotion is for the whole weekend. Nice Try! Please do not advise or recommend your staff to lie just to get a sale.

Myer isn't what it used to be years ago. Not as high end.but still has a place in the market.last few visits it seems they always have a sale on.

What can i say. A clunky old retailer, tired store, tired staff struggling to compete in a global shopping market. The store STILL fails to realise walk in shoppers want service, advice and to feel a little bit special. Otherwise why would they pay 40% more than shopping online. I only go in when i need something fast, as i did today, and a still had the usual raggedy and cranky service i always get. Ordinary service doesn't really describe the experience.

The staff are very helpful and their service is second to none. Lisa, Roberta and Robin deserve a medal for their exemplary service and knowledge regarding the products Teds stock.

Customer service has improved markedly in past 12 months - called before I arrived for stock availability, turned and was ready and waiting for exchange on the product (not their fault). Staff were quick and friendly

Peter G from menswear went above and beyond to help us. He was very knowledgeable and professional. Even though we were there at closing time, he still went out of his way to ensure we got good service. 15/11/2018

Just stood waiting to be served for 15 minutes, along with 2 other customers waiting to purchase items. I was trying to purchase 2 pairs of shoes at $139 each. I approached the sales ladies twice who told me they where busy, another customer approached them to be told they couldn't leave the customer they where personally fitting shoes for. I just walked out and I'm taking my money elsewhere and will shop online at other places from now on.

No customer service to be found anywhere. No system, it just seemed like everything was everywhere!? Total disorganization. Was looking for a dress for my teenage daughter, they really are so not with it! Waste of time going round and round, up and down unnecessarily.

Great for shopping and nice staff. Just one comment "Let people wander and dont hover" I wanted to have a look around for a dress but ended up leaving and going to Review.

I received the most wonderful help from Anna in the Manchester Department at Doncaster, when trying to find a really good padded mattress topper for my elderly Mum. Anna was so helpful & I was so pleased with my purchases. The 2 we needed had to be ordered in & on Anna's advice I chose to collect them, as we needed the items quickly. Her knowledge was excellent & I'm very grateful for Anna's advice & assistance. Well done Myer on your excellent Staff, make sure you keep Anna, she is gold!

Great customer service from the young lady in the shoe store. She was very patient and then ensured that we received the current promotional discounts that we didn't even know about. You don't get this kind of service from any online store!

Lots of options that could easily make you sped more time than you anticipated. I particularly like the men's range and cosmetics as I rarely shop elsewhere for those. Pretty good range and offers. The staff also are very friendly and helpful - once you get hold of them:)

Smaller with fewer selections than the CBD and Chadstone Myer, couldn't find what I need and needed to go to the Chadstone Myer.

The mens formal wear guys are fantastic assets and bent over backwards to assist me in finding the correct fitting clothes being an inbetween size was so great to walk away with a set of clothes that looked and made me feel a million bucks

Good selection of products and the layout is OK. Can be hard to get around with a pram but the in store lift is convenient. Service is good and seems to be improving across the entire store so all in all a positive shopping experience
