Myer Doncaster reviews
59On Saturday15th August 2020 I bought a Maxwell & Williams White Basics Soho Rim 16 Piece Dinner Set, Gift Boxed for $49.95 for when I move into my own unit in March 2021 so I could use it for myself to serve dinner on for when my family and friends come over. The staff were very helpful and the service was fantastic because on Friday 19th February 2021 they refunded me due to the postage being delayed.
Staff at the perfume counter are extremely friendly and personable. They made Christmas shopping for the boys a breeze which I always appreciate:)
I recommend the Doncaster store for sure as I continually have a great experience each time I visit. 5 Stars!
Place is quite worth to visit to set the mood especially on Wednesday and Tuesday as the crowd will be less and get more time to visit many store in less time
Amazing collection.
Usually busy but love shopping as it's my favorite go to store for make up and clothes
Kids friendly and family friendly place
It's a very well presented store, but my comment on the pre-Christmas visit was the product buyers missed the mark. The selection of gift items was disappointing and uninspired. I know 2020 was a difficult year for everyone, buyers included, but all the more reason to have some cheer in your store. I hope you can regain your Myer mojo this year.
Visited Myers Doncaster few days ago to by perfume I was welcomed by a friendly staff looked after me really good customer service there is amazing
It's a pity a zero star rating isn't an option - this dinosaur chain needs to get with the times or extinction is ominous - customer service non-existent - gift and returns card policy criminal - following the return of a clearly faulty product and fight with staff member to get a refund, I was eventually given a store credit - the $159 in returns credit evaporated after 12 months - staff in store and on "help" line not interested in assisting - "sorry it has expired - you should have used it within 12 months" - no leniency given considering Covid lockdown in Melbourne - only option is to kick up a stink in store and demand to see store manager - when he refuses to help, demand Regional Sales Manager's details and finally some action is taken - credit reinstated - really doesn't need to be that hard - Myer quite happy to pocket your cash when credit expires after 12 months - new ACCC rules dictates that there years minimum validity must be given - Myer don't offer that for a returns credit when I should have been given a cash refund at the time - don't shop here - never had a problem extending voucher validity at David Jones.
Customer service is a little better than previously. In the past, I found the older White women working in the shoe sales department to be unfriendly and probably prejudice towards women with an Indian background, not realising that some of us could be Australian Citizens like myself. I am not from India but most people in Australia think that all Indians are from India when it is not true like myself, I am from another Western country where Indians lived for longer than Indians over here. I found the White employees in the shoes sales department are friendly and helpful to White women. Not surprising, as I noticed many White women dislike Indian women here and I wonder why, I have personally experienced this as I get confused for being from India when I am not from India, not even been there? I also find that many White women are miserable and have issues so they take they issues out on women they think that are inferior to them, well Brown women are not inferior to White women.
Range is good and there is lots to look through for all ages and genders. Sizes also go further than they used to (at least for men).
The staff are happy to point you in the right direction, however don't seem willing to walk you there unless asked twice. This has been on more than one occasion, however does not mean ALL staff are like this, just some. Otherwise their service is pretty good and know their store well.
Sadly, as brick and mortar retailers continue to suffer due to a lack of custom, Myer is still standing and operating. Plenty of special buys available. Please people, online is easy, but to try on, touch, feel and note the quality of any product is far superior to a wait for the mail, and possible disappointment!
While I understand that Myer as a "luxury" store isn't performing well in the retail market sector; it was once again disappointing to find the lack of Myers staff in all departments, understandable although inconvenient.
The selection is still what it has always been, quite a lot, and exorbitantly priced given that a majority of the products sold at Myer's can be bought cheaper elsewhere.
The staff are rude and it's extremely hard to get any service. The best thing about this store is that most times it's filled with people using it only as a walk through to the shopping centre, so if you have to shop there it's a ghost town most of the time.
Bought an engagement present, birthday present and my clinique makeup. Easy parking, no crowds, great service and an all round pleasant experience
Absolutely amazing customer service in the Nine West ladies shoes section. The attendant went above and beyond helping us to try and find shoes for our wedding. And was very patient! Highly recommend.
As always, OVERPRICED! Fair mix of friendly staff or totally arrogant and rude staff. Not really a place I would enjoy browsing.
An Australian iconic shop worth supporting. It have both on-site and online facilities with real competitive price, support and service
Great range in men's wear casual & corp. I can always find what I'm looking for. Prices can be on the high side at times.
Customer service is very hard to find, had to carry things l wanted to purchase across the entire floor till l found someone. Hardly any staff around, very poor. But once l found staff, they were very helpful and went beyond excellence. I feel for them, run off their feet all the time.
Killing time as I get my car serviced at Kmart.
Smaller than the city store which equates to less choice but managed to purchase some mens clothing at 30% off rrp. Staff were smiling n happy tho I stood at the register for a few minutes before I was attended to which wasn't an issue. Overall accomplished what I set out to do in a relaxed manner but I must admit there were only a few customers around.
Great store, but they were not fixing lifts for disabled if u have a wheelchair you had to go on the goods lift
