Mulgrave Country Club

Extremely disappointed with meal. Ordered roast lamb, dried up fatty, roast potatoes grainy (maybe leftovers). Cold. Spoke to superviser she offered anothe meal
Was with 2 other people there meal also.luke warm. Would not recommend this venue. No customer service. Over priced.

Staff were friendly. Food was terrible. Had the roast turkey, which was served with pumpkin that was overcooked, carrot, beans and cauliflower that were all under cooked. Cranberry sauce and gravy were mixed together on plate and no roast potatoes. This was the seniors meal, but expected it to be edible. Would not recommend.

You must be mistaken, as there was only 2 of us, and we did not receive anything (chips or potatoes) only told at the register that we should have had potatoes. Ours was straight forward order. No sorry, nothing.

It was our first time at the Mulgrave Country Club yesterday, celebrating my daughter’s birthday for lunch.
The reception staff, Sheree and Narelle gave us the red carpet treatment when we arrived. They were extremely attentive and delightful!
Kathryn was our main waitress in the gorgeous bistro and was so friendly
and helpful with ordering our food which was very nice.
I could go on about this place! It was so wonderful!
The entire service was absolutely fabulous, venue and everything! I
I even complimented the manger, Phill on our lovely experience.

I cannot rate this venue higher! You will have us as regular customers from now on.

Today in the Bistro we celebrated the 90th birthday of our friend. Trish welcomed me on arrival with our special birthday cake and took care of all the arrangements for that. The Bistro staff - I wish I could give you all their names - were very attentive and helpful despite a heavy demand on their time with many customers there and took precious time to take several photographs. Our Seniors meals were excellent. We will be back.

Went there for a private function on Saturday and the service was amazing, so attentive and quick with our drink deliveries, wish I got her name because she definitely deserves praise from management. The food was delicious too, thank you for a wonderful night, you made a very special occasion even better!

Celebrated a family reunion here, the food was reduced in variety in the salad but the meat was really well prepared. The spacing of the tables is well done and the bowls area outside is beautiful.

On a positive note the venue has been very nicely upgraded and renovated. Staff were friendly and helpful. We have been to this venue many times over many years but no longer live locally. We were excited to return as the food has always be of a good standard. Unfortunately the food served tonight was incredibly ordinary. Offering a huge meal doesn't make up for quality. To add insult to injury, the coffee was completely undrinkable and tasted like gritty dirt. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Definitely won't be returning.

We were invited to an 80th birthday function. The staff were polite and attentive, the service was excellent and the food very nice indeed.

Very nice atmosphere and food was nice but our table staff member James was very attentive and a lovely young man. He’s a credit to the Mulgrave Country Club. We will be back.

Had a function in the Mulgrave Room, which has some very odd accoustics making it hard to hear each other talking when filled with more than 40 people. The PA system also seems like it needs a bit of a refresh, or a tweak when the space is full. Sadly most of the food was undercooked, especially the Lamb Shanks, but the deserts were great.

I had a query about Tennis membership late February and had the absolute pleasure of speaking to Ida over the phone. Ida was INCREDIBLY helpful, receptive thoughtful and most of all a genuinely caring and energetic person. Dealing with Ida was genuinely one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had, she was that good. I then was lucky enough to receive a follow up call later from Christine - who was equally lovely.

Take a bow Mulgrave Country Club, your staff are fantastic and I have told so many friends how wonderful my experience was as a result!

Ordered the seafood basket with chips and I was given a flavorless preheat from the microwave.the service and the food was horrendous!
I informed the waiter of my experience, then vito appeared, poor attitude, defensive and non apologicic
He has no idea how to be a manager he is running a circus
He was not willing to take criticism regarding the food for the tip!
To make matters worse, we decided to play the pokies, bad idea
I went to ask the reception to take money out I asked for 50$ she gave me 100$
So then I said to her I ask for 50$ not 100$ then vito was in the vicinity he area
He approach me and began to yell and scream and undermine me
He call me nasty, rude said never to step foot in this place again also threatening me to call.the cops if I didn't leave
Hes remarks and threats were utterly unsubstantiated
I was frustrated cuz the reception was hearing impaired and wasn't wearing
hearing aids
But it did not give vito the right to abuse and belittle me in front of everyone for some one else's mistake
Completely blew every thing out of proportion
So he can satisfy his egotistical tendencies
This should not be tolerated abuse of power, degrading disgusting behavior
Vito has no idea how to be a professional or have a managerial ability to the patrons
Of the country club or society
I give vito 0 for manager

My meal at the bistro was off-putting. The fried rice was hard and stale. With no flavour and the chicken was overcooked and dry.

I informed the waiter and the supervisor -Brianna appeared. Asking in a unpleasant tone " What is the problem? "" while she began to start cracking her knuckles, as she stood over my friends and I. She informed me that chef said the reason for my experience is because it was basmati rice. I told her that is not a valid reason why its hard and bits broken up in my mouth. She become defensive and said that she has tried the rice herself and it was fine. I was appalled by her lack of customer service, rudeness towards the diner and being met with passive aggressiveness. And a nasty attitude also. She showed no sympathy for my experience and made me to feel like I was a liar. And that shes always right. Vulgar behaviour towards a customer. No one should ever have to endure such treatment when they are going for a meal.

Comfortable, and a great atmosphere. Friendly staff. I'll be taking out a membership now that my wife and I are living in the area.

Foods good but found signing in quite difficult. They also charge $$ if u forget a mask which is a bit rich - so if going dont forget take ur mask

I have been here multiple times with my work colleagues and family. Very friendly staff and high quality meals for a good price. I recommend the Mulgrave Country Club and if you are looking for a big meal, give the Seafood Platter a go, it’s giant!

We had ordered the lamb cutlets with rosemary/garlic and the tandoori lamb cutlets, when it came out, a couple of the cutlets on each plate was the size of a 50c coin. We didn't even bother taking a photo of the food as it was so underwhelming and now I wish I did as proof. The meal itself was way too small to justify the price, neither my partner or I was satisfied with the meal, let alone full. When the waiter came to take the plates, asked how was the food, I told him it was very small, and he just took the plates and walked away.

When we went to pay, luckily I had look at the receipt before paying, as they've accidentally added a cake to our bill.

Couldn't have been a more disappointing dining experience.

I wish I took a photo but MCC has probably one of the best little outdoor seated dining areas I've been to at a club/bistro. Great meals at reasonable prices and a great selection of drinks that are also very reasonable. Love going here with friends after work for a drink and a meal.

I’ve never been to a restaurant before where they use tinned beetroot and prepackaged supermarket feta in a salad - but there’s always a first! Won’t be returning.

As a bowls club you let your players and visitors down. Bowled there today only to find out no afternoon break. Pushers for rinks are few and far around. This club is a disgrace.
