Mr Ramen San reviews
57Best ramen in Melbourne, bar none. Spicy Tonkotsu is the pick, house made noodles with excellent texture and springiness complement the perfectly executed broth. Eggs are always served firm white with gooey yolk, as intended. The cha shu is packed full of flavour and is always tender and meaty, not too gelatinous or fatty. No other ramen in Melbourne comes close, Ramen San is the real deal.
Very good ramen place. It is the same as the one I ate in Japan. The vegi ramen is very delicious and I recommend it to every one. The personal is polite as well and on top of this the prices are Ok
Absolutely marvelous Japanese ramen. The shop is run by genuine Japanese. Prices are reasonable. Will always return.
Absolutely delicious ramen. Tonkotsu broth was heavenly, not too thick and very flavourful. Generous serving of 3 portions of chashu pork. Service was friendly and efficient. They have a maximum of 20 seats, so come early and be prepared to split up if you have a big group. Credit card surcharges (no Amex) incur a flat $0.40 charge. Will definitely come back!
The beef ramen is all that I get there. It's the best ramen in Melbourne. The other ramen selections are alright.
Nice environment, polite staff and yummy ramen! What else can I ask for! Second time here and I love it!
One of my favorites in the city. Taste good, noodle have the right texture, reasonable price, free topupt.
Nice gyōza. Very nice. Sapporo on tap is great. Ramen isn't the best out there, but certainly not bad! Atmosphere is lovely with a decent amount of seating, friendly staff and the place takes card. Very important.
Spicey and meaty broth with vegan and vegitarian options.
Not the best ramen place in the city but a sold turn if you're in the neighbourhood of a Monday night
Absolutely delicious food. Had vegan ramen and pork ramen + edamame and drinks. Absolutely delicious and super fast service. Didn't have to wait for table either, and came 6: 30pm on a Friday! Would recommend!
Nothing special and the service was a bit cold. Very uncomfortable seats. The good thing is that they offer a free extra portion of noodles if you've ran out of it earlier than expected lol
Friendly service, great beer and wonderful food. Mister Ramen San is the best ramen store in Melbourne, and I've tried them all! It's a small store but easily accommodates a medium sized group comfortably. If you're around the Bourke Street area, this is a must try.
A bit hard to find (inside a mall). The vegan ramen was very tasty, i recommend getting tofu rather than the fake meat (i personally didn’t like the taste or texture).
I loved how there is free noodle refills!
It is well priced.
I’m not a massive fan of ramen but this place was incredible. I couldn’t stop eating and also demolished the last of my partners dish. Cannot recommend this place enough. Go there today!
Love the ramen here. There was a long queue when i got there but i was lucky enough to secure the window panel seat. Love the ramen and the fact that you can get free noodle refill was a bonus indeed! I enjoyed the mushroom salad & the thin skin gyoza too
Great to see that Mr Ramen San offer a vegan option for ramen that is very tasty. The mock meat is very tasty and the broth was delicious. Also! Free top up of noodles if you still have some liquid left and feel like you can smash out some more ramen
My favourite Ramen place in the CBD. Very authentic. The broth is rich and tasty. You also get choices of different soup base. Spicy one is pretty nice. Offer extra half or full serve of noodle for free.
Staffs are very friendly, limited seat. Always quite busy during lunch time, but you don’t have to wait very long time.
The restaurant decorated with manga ramen scene.
