First two weeks out of lockdown in Melbourne and back to the Moroccan Soup Bar after many years since our last visit. New location is ambient, nicely decorated and spacious. Excellent service and every dish on $45 set menu was delicious. GF and vegan well catered for. We four each got a to take leftovers. Thank you MS

Every dish I tried was so flavourful, I felt like I died and went to food heaven! Only thing that tampered my experience was the fact that I ate til I almost burst.

Everything so good! There is no menu you chose course from 2 courses. I highly recommend course with tapas. You might be not able to finish all but tapas was so good! I’ll come back soon! Thank you

Loved the vibes (think Moroccan tiles and bright coloured walls), and the amazing Vegetarian, flavoursome and authentic Moroccan food. The back garden is definitely the place to be on an evening out on a date or for a catch up with friends!

The food was incredible! Beautiful flavours! We had the 4 course, which left us with more food than we could manage. They were so nice to offer us a container for takeaway! Highly recommend!

Always look forwards to this experience

Went here for dinner but there’s no menu and the waitress couldn’t explain it properly either. We didn’t know what we were ordering.the food was good but staff were quite rude, came to give us takeway containers and ask for payment while we were halfway through the food. Pretty abrupt and rude service, no politeness at all. There are better places to spend your money

I've come to MSB for a long time and always looked forward to introducing people to this place.

Unfortunately last night was disappointing that I feel I had to say something.
We were seated down, and it was not until 20 minutes later someone came round and asked us if we were doing the special or the normal banquet option.

The food wasn't great, its a noticeable difference from last year where everything now mostly just tasted sour and starchy, and the staff seemed too stretched to stop and tell us what we were eating. The dessert also seemed quite random and didn't really add much, and the tea was forgotten for quite awhile.

I felt bad because as it seems like the staff are trying their best, but it was quite a disappointing experience overall and we were trying to rush the meal to move on elsewhere.

Dining areas are lovely and delighted. I visited with my friend, and we were not hungry, so we had two main course and a dessert. Food here are amazing

Food was alright. Staff had absolutely know idea what was going wrong. There was no menu to see & the staff were surprised when I asked what's on offer. I had no idea what sort of costs I was working with when making my order. When I got my lentil soup they couldn't give me a spoon when I had no option but to order takeaway.at a soup bar. I ended up sitting in the car drinking it like you would a coffee.
The food is really the only reason it gets 2 stars.

Worth a try. Loud inside. Also the location has changed. Certainly not the best Moroccan food in the city. A little overhyped to be honest.

Did the banquet set menu for 4 people, and overall the service was pretty good!

There was a fair bit of hype around this place, and I don’t think the food lived up to it, if I’m
being honest. It was all okay but lacked they lacked flavour or spice in quite a few dishes. A couple dishes were unique and more enjoyable like the eggplant dish, but frankly nothing I’d order again. The dessert was also pretty ordinary.

For how much we paid, I’d say you can probably pay much less somewhere else for better.
