I have been to Moonee Ponds Medical Centre for more than 10 years. I find the whole team very supportive and caring staff members. They are always happy to help their patients. I highly recommend the Medical Centre for ther wonderful treatment and hospitality. Thank you for your service.

I went to this clinic to see a doctor as I just had CANCER removed
from my lip and went for a check up
I walked in wearing my mask even tho it was annoying my lip
As you are not allowed to enter this clinic with out a mask on.a staff member at reception desk was wearing a mask around her neck when I asked why they did not wear the mask properly.
They turned into a little 6 year old child with a voice matching it saying.leave me alone.leave me alone, I will go see management
I could not believe the pitch of the lady's voice it hurt my ears
And the way she carried on, to make me look like I was abusing her
this made me feel like had did something wrong and made me feel sick
they have CCTV cameras going at reception and they can prove
I did nothing wrong in anyway
Management was at the reception desk at the time as well
Nothing was said to the receptionist
but I was told that I am not allowed to say anything about the mask
So it looks like 1 rule for staff another rule for the clients
which really means money more important
I will probably be told after writing this review that I am not allowed back into the clinic and maybe also get my doctor that I have been seeing for 30 years into trouble
I have been going to this clinic for a few years now
since my doctor shifted to it
Have always found the reception staff friendly and helpful
Maybe this staff member has an exception not to wear a mask
and that's OK, but don't have them working at the front reception desk
where you expect every person who walks into that clinic to wear a mask and then walk up to the a reception desk
To be greeted by a person
That is not wearing a mask

Perhaps they need to review their service charter and ask themselves how they woyld best service the needy. Waiting on the phone to even speak to anyone is a joke, I rang 4 times waiting over 1 hr. In the end I gave up, pathetic, photo shows 25 minutes waiting!

All the staff and Doctor's are absolutely amazing understanding and always take the time to listen to my concerns. The receptionists are super friendly and helpful, they always go out of there way to help.
Would definitely recommend if your looking for a new Doctor clinic.

I've been coming here for as long as I can remember but never seem to appreciate what they do for me and my family everytime we come.

We all go through different experiences but mine has been amazing all these years and I can't thank them enough.

Doctor Arvind Ranchhod have been our family doctor for ages until he went to being a Skin Cancer Specialist on the other side. He was kind, patient and knowledgeable. He takes his time and made sure you understand what's going on.

Then we had Doctor Sameena and Doctor Donna. It's hard to find female doctors these days so I'm blessed I've got them.   They are both good at what they do and seeing them is like seeing friends not doctors. They give the best advice and always follows up with everything. They genuinely care for you.

To the receptionist, nurses, phlebotomist thank you as well. Your work is also important and appreciated.

On Monday 21 March 2022 at approximately 11: 15am, I called your clinic to make an appointment with Dr Donna for a pap smear. My results last year were abnormal, so I received a letter from the National Cervical Screening Program and an email from your clinic, reminding me to make an appointment ASAP.

When I called, I specifically stated that I required a pap smear appointment with Dr Donna, whenever she was next available. The receptionist said the Dr Donna only does pap smears on a Saturday and that the next available appointment would be at 10: 40am on 16 April 2022. I even cancelled my Easter long weekend plans, given the importance of the appointment and the 4 week wait to see Dr Donna - I wanted to get the test done ASAP.

On Thursday 14 April 2022 at 10: 40am I received an email form your clinic, asking me to confirm my appointment, which I did. Then at approximately 11: 00am on Friday 15 April 2022 I received a call from your clinic, advising me that Dr Donna does not do pap smears on a Saturday and that pap smears on a Saturday are not bulk billed and will cost me $85. I calmly explained my frustration to the receptionist and the reasons for my disappointment. When I rang on 21 March 2022 to make the appointment, I was given the wrong information and that I should have been notified sooner, rather than the day before. The receptionist was unapologetic, unsympathetic, and rude and said that she was just passing on a message from Dr Donna.

I have been a patient at this clinic for approximately 4.5 years and unfortunately this is not the first time I have experienced terrible customer service and rudeness from your staff. Dr Donna is a wonderful GP, so it's a shame that she is let down by the front line staff at this clinic. Please educate reception staff in your own policies that you yourselves have created, notify patients ASAP when an error occurs (rather than waiting a month to tell them) and encourage them to be empathetic. It costs nothing to be kind to another human being.

Amazing GP Dr Sameena Aslam. Very thorough and knowledgeable. Other facilities, such dietitian, blood testing, ultrasound, x-ray, are all available within the medical centre for easy access to diagnostic tests. I always book my appointments via phone or in person at reception desk and get multiple options during workdays. Most services are bulk billed. Need to find a physio though outside this centre as the one they have is not bulk billed. No overall problems so far. Will highly recommend.

Dr Sameena Aslam was really lovely. She ensured I was getting the right treatment and was very patient in answering all my queries clearly and indepth. She is very friendly and personable, and is very easy to approach.

Really great clinic. Lots of facilities available in the 1 building. GP appointments, Dental, Physio, Podiatry, dietician, Skin specialist, Psychologist, Covid Vaccines, Radiology, Pathology and a pharmacy. Really makes taking care of my health much easier having all different specialists under the same roof. Have always been greeted by friendly staff and the practitioners themselves are always so helpful and go out of their way to make sure I am taken care of.

I have been here a patient since 2019 and I am really happy that I have found this place. It is great to have a BB clinic so close to Puckle Street.
I don't think I could have got through lockdown without Dr. Sameena Aslam, she really helped me take back control of my health and the lifestyle changes have helped get my Asthma under control. Just completed my first 10K!

I see Dr Sameena Aslam and would highly recommended. I have had many doctors in the past not explain things clearly and be dismissive of my symptoms but Dr Aslam is very present and takes my health seriously

Very grateful to the efficient and friendly reception and medical staff for their help on a Sunday, when I needed some (unplanned) post-operative care.

Horrible service- would give 0 stars if I could. My mother came and saw Dr Sameena with the beginnings of a serious medical condition. The Drs appointments were running behind at 9am in the morning (apparently she wasn’t onsite and reception didnt know when she was arriving? !?). When she did see my mum she had a poor bedside manner and did not seem concerned in the least. She said she would contact my mum within days with a referral for a specialist and she never did. This caused alot of unnecessary stress.
As it turned out the clinic contacted Mum a few weeks later with the life threatning diagnosis, although by this time Mum had taken things into her own hands consulted with a specialist and had already had the operation to remove the issue all off her own bat.
Arent Medical clinics meant to educate and assist patients in their time of need? I guess not this one.

I'd put 0 stars if I could. So often I book an appointments and am waiting 3+ hours. Today I had one at 10.20am called at 12: 30 to see what was going on, they said he's really behind. I then called back again at 2.40 because I still hadn't had my appointment, they said they'd reschedule it. This place is a joke. No apology. So over this doctors. They need to really improve their services.

This is a bulk billed practice, if you know what you want, like getting a referral, they are extremely efficient. Also all in one place to take your x-ray, scans, blood etc.
Can be extremely long waiting time. Doctors are not extremely attentive, but OK.
The reception and waiting area are large and clean. The couches may need to be steamed clean.

Waited on hold to speak with reception, initially said wait time was 1 minute so that was good, then updated to 3 minutes which was fine then i was just continually on hold for 15 minutes until i gave up. It is a pity that the owners only seem to answer to reviews that are praising their services

I have used Moonee Ponds medical centre for general practitioners over the last 6 years and can’t speak highly enough of the service provided by the front desk staff and the doctors I have seen.
I would highly recommend this general practice, I have had blood tests done, stitches inserted, xrays taken and full skin checks done checking for cancers. Highly recommend.

My usual doctor retired, so was given someone else to see.
Saw Dr. Suman Prakash,
was extremely slow & had no idea how to add my vaxx record.
Then had the audacity to tell me to come back another time, as he had another patient waiting!
Worst service from him to the receptionists.all are unfriendly
I won"t be going back
