Food was okay - nothing special and the meat tasted old. Service was friendly but we were told we couldn't have the same cocktail again because it was too much effort to make. I think she was trying to be funny but serious. Shame, as we would have stayed for a second if we were allowed.lol!

Worst food I've ever had and I would avoid this place if I had my time over. Cant believe that he charge me $66.00 for something I couldn't even eat. Extremely disappointing

It's always a great place to have a relaxing meal and a drink or two at Montezuma's Restaurant on Parkdale.

Nice food. Do try poblano chicken. It's been after so long since I got to taste authentic poblano mole sauce outside Puebla. Have a good time at the traditional Mexican ambience. Good place to celebrate your special occasions.

Just okay. Mexican food is always a good option, delicious and simple, but Montezuma’s didn’t wow us. The menu is a little overpriced for the quality. Vegetarian options need a little more creativity.

Very good food! I'm from America and this place has the best queso I've had here so far. The buritto was delicious and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Will be going back!

Very warm environment and lovely staff. I've been living near by and passing by this place so many times but never noticed. Friend of mine told me and I decided to check it. Surprisingly good dinner with delicious food and good cocktails. Also everyone of the employees was so nice and kind. Definitely, became one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the suburbs. Highly recommended for everyone!

Love Mexican food and Montezuma's didn't disappoint.
Generous (but not excessive) servings and fast, friendly service.
So glad we picked this place for a quick Friday night dinner date.

Went with my partner, i ordered the chicken burrito with almonds and potato, felt like it had lots of flavour, but it was one of the only dishes that didn't have cheese (which is something I don't eat). Partner had the tacos but the meat was not very seasoned or flavourful.

Pretty standard tacos. The soft shell bread was really nice! I think my overall major gripe is the quality of the beans. Those were just okay.

Amazing food, super reasonably priced!

We were served by a lovely young lady named Jess and she made our dining experience extraordinary. She was super friendly and was really personable and created a great relationship with customers. Would definitely recommend. Thanks so much Jess:)

#22 (from memory) the Arizona. 2 chicken and cheese enchiladas with rice and salad. I always switch the rice for beans.

Family of 4 had a nice meal there this evening. Mum had the Montezuma's Delight with chicken and Dad had the Gringo, with beef enchilada and burrito. Kids had enchilada and burrito and everyone was happy. Food was tasty and hot in temperature. Drink waiter came to our table within 1 or 2 minutes and took our order, which arrived about 3 minutes later.
Our waitress Evelyn was bright and bubbly and helpful with questions regarding the menu. All in all a good experience, and reasonably priced.thank you, we will return.

Ordered the Quesadilla via Uber Eats. It was drowning in liquid and made the entire thing very soggy and inedible. Very disappointed with the entire thing couldn't eat any of it.

The Mexican fare was ok but nthe presentation not too appetising. Sercive is friendly. We asked to have our fajitas and buritos spicy. With extra chilli. Their hot is not hot at all. Very tame so it's catered for western palates. So we asked for chilli. Or at least add on the side. They donrd have chillis. What hale decent Mexican restaurant does not have chillis in their cupboard? Do I want sweet chilli sauce? I said no thanks. Sweet chilli sauce is thai.

So I gave it back to them. They reheated my food and served it with a small side of jalapeno peppers, about a tablespoon full. I suppose that's the best they can do. Oh well.
I didn't appreciate it though when I got charged $5 for the tablespoon size serving of chilli. What I didn't appreciate was I was not told of extra charge.

I'm not going back as despite the upbeat faux Mexican Aztec decor and friendly service, this local mexican restaurant's food quality, authenticity and pricing makes it a very average offering.

I bet anyone can go to Aldi and buy their burrito and taco packs and do a better job of preparing a mire authentic Mexican meal. A medium sized jar of jalapenos at aldi is also sold at $3. I'll stay home and snack on that.

We have been here on a number of occasions. There is a lot going for this restaurant.

It’s kid friendly, with a good selection of kids meals. They are provide the little ones with a colouring activity set when you arrive to keep them occupied while your meal is being cooked.

The food is good value. It’s not fund dining, but it’s also better than a Mexican fast food alternative.

Drinks on offer are great with a good selection of imported Mexican beer as well as local staples. The cocktail options are well priced, but the real winner is their sangria which is around the $6 per glass which is reasonable.

We really wanted to give this a five star rating but couldn’t. We ordered the kids corn chips for our 2yo. Our waitress came back to the table 5min later and asked if we wanted guacamole and sour cream on the side.but didn’t tell us that it was an extra $8. So when we went to pay we were miffed at the total price.

Overall it’s a solid option if you’re Bayside.
