Mon Ami Paris Grill reviews
46My partner and I went here tonight and it was lovely. I'd never eaten french food before and I wasn't disappointed. The food was well presented and tasted gorgeous. The place was cosy and beautifully decorated with warm lighting, and the service was hospitable and welcoming. The lady even opened the door for us as we left. Thank you for a beautiful evening I won't forget.
This restaurant was absolutely abysmal. INCREDIBLY RUDE service and the food can only be described as incredibly AVERAGE and bland.
Don't waste your time or money. There are many better options to eat out in the area.
Wow, this was an absolutely disgusting waste of an evening. This restaurant is definitely one to avoid.
Great French inspired food with a little bit of a Finnish twist. Lovely staff and a nice small room.
Quite possibly the nicest meal I’ve ever had. We came on a Saturday evening when they opened as we were off to a show. We were the only people in the restaurant at the time which made our experience a little bit more special. Our host Ulla was just the nicest woman who attended to our every need, from recommending our wine to baking the most beautiful bread I’ve ever had. We both had the poivre as our main. I’d not eaten much duck but this was sensational made even better by my beautiful apple tart dessert. My boyfriend has the chocolat crepe which he raved about. Everything about the restaurant was 10/10, from the decor, food and service. Would absolutely recommend to locals and visitors and we’ll definitely be back.
Lovely little French restaurant owned and operated by a husband (cook) and wife (waitress). We ordered the duck and fish for mains, scallops to start and creme brûlée for desert with the latter being the highlight.
That said, all of the food we ate was tasty, although portion sizes were smaller than I would have liked. The food might be too rich for some, but this is a French restaurant after all.
The restaurant itself is very cosy, which I quite liked. I think the maximum amount of people it could hold at any one time would be about 16. The restaurant is easily missed when you're travelling along Nicholson Street.
On a side note, the male toilets were very smokey from the kitchen - the place is quite small so it's possible they need a more powerful exhaust fan in the kitchen.
