Molly Rose Brewery reviews
46 Molly Rose Brewery offers a wide range of beers and wines, there is something for everyone. Sweet, sour, bitter. Just a normal beer on an extravagant flabour adventure this brewery has something for you.
Their staff is very friendly. They are attentive and offer to assist you where needed. They have a good knowdeledge of the menu, so if you are unsure you can simply ask them.
The location itself has a low-key kind of vibe. It is very relaxed and chill. Yet it also has a cozy feeling. It is a bit outside the CBD, but easily reachable by nearby tram service.
Huy, cass, tam and sam were so kind! Absolutely lovely experience, i cannot wait to come back!
Excellent, there are some really nice beers here. The new restaurant section has really good food. The staff were awesome. I highly recommend Molly Rose
Great service. Wait staff are really helpful, friendly and efficient, food is good and the beer is excellent!
So many good beers, even so good I bought take outs but negatives:
no beer paddles, tasting experience but you can't choose your own beers.
Menu is a no for a brewery, what I tasted was good but totally wrong for a tap room, do simple sharing plates.dog friendly
All the beers were unique, but Rachel explained them one by one, which was great.
My only regret was that the mushroom noodles were too spicy.
This place is a gem. They were able to accomodate a booking of 9 people for my birthday drinks and food. The beers were all something interesting and unique, and the food that came out of the kitchen was gourmet. The staff were really lovely too. I can't fault this place - a especially the variety in the selection of beers. Whether you like refreshing largers, sour beers, punchy ales, or want to try something different like a smoked larger or a savoury japanese dark beer, this place has it all. Their cocktails are first-rate too, and all the wines on the menu are carefully selected and excellent. Highly recommended.
My second visit to Molly Rose. The first time I enjoyed the Fried Chicken main paired with the Jalapeño Radler. The Radler stole the show
Second visit was tonight with the incredible Drunken Fried Rice. - OMG - What a dish I felt like I was in Bali inhaling a traditional Nasi Goreng but better. The chilli level is perfection. Thank you for transporting me back to fond memories and filling my happy tummy. I’ll be back for the spicy rice and hopefully the Jalapeño Radler is back in stock

Amazing food, staff, awesome beers. What more can you ask for. I really like how it's not just Pizza too. The food is quite a step up from the standard brewery experience.
Great service and beer variety in a sparsely furnished industrial space in Collingwood. Food was pretty good too but, in an area famous for rustic old Australian pubs, the fine dining industrial look didn't feel really inviting or comfortable.equally for all the beer variety; it lacks the core pilsner & wheat beer standards
Molly Rose Brewery is a small, humble gem in the north (newly renovated) that delivers an exceptional combination of delicious food and outstanding drinks. The venue, named after the owner’s grandmothers, exudes warmth and charm. It has a tap room with barrels and tables, as well as a refined and stunning dining area.
Their drink selection is diverse and impressive, featuring wine, beer, cocktails, and a variety of options available in cans, bottles, and on tap. We had the pleasure of trying several options, including the Hazy Lemon Ale, Lager #3, and White Peach & Grapefruit Sour Ale, all of which were outstanding. While the Kuro Japanese Lager had a unique and intriguing deep, umami flavour, it didn’t personally suit my taste.
The food menu takes inspiration from Asian cuisine and executes it extremely well. Each dish we tried showcased impressive flavours and creativity. The quality of the food exceeded our expectations for a brewery, and we would happily return for the food alone. The dishes were fresh, layered with flavour and texture, and each item on the menu was seamless with the others. Our favourites included the stuffed chicken wing, the Char Kway Teow, and the Greens.
Our experience was exceptional, leaving us completely satisfied by the end of the evening. We were so impressed that we even took a 4-pack of their Hazy Lemon Ale home with us! The service we received was fabulous, with our waiter providing attentive care and radiating a contagious positive attitude throughout the night. We couldn’t find a single complaint, and we are already planning our return, perhaps with some friends joining us.
If you are looking for fine dining or something more casual you can get both here. Out door area is great, as is the inside restaurant area and the food is amazing. Great staff, great food, great ambience. Highly recommended - our new favorite local.
Funky beers and good vibes. Too much of a focus on fruity, soury, wild yeast types for me though.
Excellent selection of beers, friendly vibe, and very helpful staff all housed in a working boutique brewery. So happy to see this appear in our neighbourhood. Looking forward to coming back soon!
-Jan 2023, in for the No Mugs club opening. Wow, this new area is incredible!
Food great
Beers excellent
Service sensational
We actually had to come back here before we left Melbourne! The ‘when life gives you lemons’ beer was unexpectedly amazing. 11/10 recommend
Really enjoyed my hazy lemon ale with my pkt of Melbourne made tomato potato chips this afternoon - full table service & every member of staff were excellent - look forward to returning
Decent spot with some nice beers. Kinda feels like you’re drinking in someone’s garage though, one or two full tables and it’s pretty noisy.
Awesome spot for delicious beers. We were gifted a 'date night' voucher to go to Molly Rose and it was such an awesome experience. We got a tasting selection of beers and toasties - which were so tasty! The staff were super friendly and attentive and explained the story behind each beer or the notes and flavours in detail. The Coffee Tonic sour was my favourite!
Randomly dropped in while in the area to find this absolute gem. The beers were delicious, especially the Little Hazy Beer. Friendly service as well. Can't wait to be back!
Awesome craft beer brewery producing many funky beers and modern classics. Toasted sandwiches are elite and a great pairing for their beer. Lovely to sit amongst the barrels with a very relaxed atmosphere.
