Mister Nice Guy's Bakeshop reviews
84Love this place always happy with the delicious chick pea baguettes and an apple or cinnamon scroll followed by a range of soy or almond lattes or flatwhites. Vegan friendly is an understatement:)
Waiting there right at the counter waiting to be served by the broad guy with tats for like 5mins while he is serving someone else. Another group walks in afterwards then when he is finally done he serves that group that comes in afterwards. Sure didn't feel like Mr Nice to me.
I ordered the Vanilla Lavender cake which was delicious, the only issue being the colour of the cake being a light pink rather than purple and missing the lavender decor on the top. Other than that the cake was very tasty and my concerns of the colour were resolved after I emailed them
Definitely would’ve been 5 stars if the appearance wasn’t a bit off
So tasty, the milkshakes look like they came out of a dream. Great place for both vegans and non vegans. Mostly recommended for people who like baked goods or/and sweets.
Offering a delicious assortment of cupcakes, donuts, scrolls, and savoury foods, Mister Nice Guy's cannot be missed if you're vegan, veg-curious, or just want a sweet snack. They cater to a wide range of food allergies, and every item is carefully labelled with possible allergens ranging from your common (soy and gluten), to your slightly less common (corn and fructose). Don't be mistaken, these aren't your typical raw paleo keto-friendly gluten-free desserts, these are delicous full-fat full-sugar oven-baked/deep-fried works of art. Make sure you eat in and try a shake!
Mister nice guys bakeshop caters to almost every dietary requirement: dairy free, egg free, gelatine free and low gi (I think I've missed a few)
Best of all they have a great range to choose from and what I tried was absolute delish. (we had cinnamon bun, spinach and feta pastry, peanut butter brownie)
I would highly recommend, get in early as the queue was quite long when I arrived.
We love this place! Great cakes, bagels, meatball sub and those freak shakes. Our dog gets excited when we pull up. A few outdoor tables to bring your furry friends. Staff are always lovely. Have purchased birthday cakes and not been disappointed. Ever.
Maybe the best vegan sweets and pastries in Melbourne. Some of the savoury options are a miss, some are pretty good. If you're a vegan with a sweet tooth, a visit to Mr Nice Guys is mandatory
Food is great but the service and attitude of the staff is appalling if you go 20mins prior to them closing. Also, don’t waste your time with the coffee. It’s awful
My daughter is anaphylactic to dairy and i was stressed about finding her a birthday cake that not only she could enjoy but all our family and friends could aswell.the cake was so pretty and tasted amazing.thanks so much
Visiting Union Road Ascot Vale, I was looking for a coffee shop and came across this lovely bakery coffee shop. I was impressed to find they served turmeric coffee and all the products are meat (animal) free.
The shop is very interesting with plenty of interesting decorations and baked goods. The staff are so friendly and welcoming.
I ordered a cappuccino and a peanut brownie, they were both great - probably the best I have ever tried.
Although the prices are rather pricey, $9.60 for the coffee and brownie. They do take EFPOS with no extra transaction charge.
There is outside seating and I can see this venue has good patronage.
This is the most amazing vegan places ever. The staff are excellent and make everyone feel welcome. They make the best milkshakes, cupcakes and cakes. Although they’re very sweet they’re amazing. I definitely recommend coming here.:)
Recently I purchased a cake for my daughter's 13th birthday. It was not only delicious, but it impressed the non vegans and it looked amazing! Thanks for helping make my daughter's birthday extra special!
100% plant based so you don't have to worry about wondering if anything has egg or dairy in it. Great for sweets and shakes that even non vegans would enjoy and probably wouldn't be able to tell it's dairy free.
Great little place, nice selection of cup cakes in their display, definitely want to pre-order a full size cake, yet to sample the good, but it smells amazing! Will also be going there next time I catch up with friends for a coffee and cake.
All this and it's very allergy/dietary friendly too!
The food and the desserts were so delicious. Customer service was quick and helpful. Everyone was really friendly and I would love to go there again if I am in the area.
A sweet low key cafe, bakery that does hands down the BEST vegan birthday cakes to order! They really have the WOW factor with cute icing designs and all the colours of the rainbow. And. Yes. They taste delicious!
Last year we ordered a birthday cake for my son, it tasted and look fantastic, this year without second thought we ordered the same cake again but unfortunately it is a completed failed. Apart from the pepper pig symbol, both inside and outside are all different, taste different, and i can't even use a folk to eat it, it falls off completely and i have to use a spoon. Not sure if they changed the chef or the ingredients, a bit consistence would be appreciated. Otherwise in general a good plant base cafe
I don't normally write reviews but I really wanted to for this place. I'm American, a new vegan, and I have an almost concerning emotional attachment to cinnamon rolls. My family used to have a plate of them every Sunday. I had accepted my fate of no longer being able to enjoy cinnamon rolls once I went vegan (because I don't have time to make them myself and even conventional ones, let alone vegan versions, are SO hard to find here!). I went about a year with this mentality. But then I found this place. When I first sat down with my cinnamon roll, I legit almost cried. I was so happy to be able to enjoy a nice big, super cinnamon-y cinnamon bun. I havent tried much (cinnamon rolls are life) but the cookies and lemon buns are also amazing. This place makes my life better.
In terms of service, they are always busy and in a rush, but they take care of you quickly. It would be nice if it had more of a eat-in, cafe-style atmosphere. But they have bomb cinnamon rolls (have I mentioned that yet!?) so that's a small flaw.
Reasonably priced and accessible vegan food. The sausage roll is my favorite, and my partner loves the spinach and cheese scrolls. Also the cinnamon donuts. And the mint hot chocolate. Always a pleasure, the staff are lovely and the inside of the shop has the best vibe and aesthetic.
