Sorry - but I really HAVE to leave this review. My husband got me a chocolate cake for a late birthday celebration with my in-laws. Texture and taste are completely off. The cake tastes like medicine - bitter, odd and not fresh. There’s nothing in the cake that suggests chocolate. Very disappointed - such cake should really not be sold…. It is that bad.

We took a quarter of the cake home (shown in photo) but I don’t think we are going to eat it…. $60 wasted: ’ (

Been going here for years and never disappoints. Fantastic vegan bakery with various sweet and savoury options.

Really enjoyed everything we tried on our recent visit from Sydney! The sausage roll was delicious and filling and the kids were delighted with the fun cupcake options.

I have had all of my daughters birthday cakes ordered from Mister Nice Guys and I honestly couldn't be happier. They do an amazing job and are very reasonably priced. So happy with all of our cakes over the years. Thank you!

Wow! We’ve ordered Lego head cake for my son’s 8th birthday party yesterday and I’m very impressed. It’s our first time to order and it won’t be the last.

The cake is moist and soft and the icing is delicious. I usually don’t eat the icing on any cake because it usually taste nothing but sugar. But this one you can taste the butter and it’s not too sweet.

Highly recommend! Hope the quality won’t change in the future. Good job guys.

I planned a big party for my birthday, and wanted to make sure everyone had plenty to eat, including those who are gluten-free and vegan. So, I ordered a dozen cupcakes from Mister Nice Guys, and arranged to pick them up on the day.
The order was ready to go and looking fabulous when I arrived to collect it, and everyone really loved them at the party. My guests were rapt to have a choice of two delicious cakes!
Many thanks for your fantastic work, which really contributed to making my party so great.

Was here when the place opened, now back and happy to see it’s doing really well, still serving delicious vegan treats.

Savoury stuff is amazing: sausage roll, cheesy swirl, pretzel dog, to many to eat in one visit.

And the raspberry cheesecake was to die for!

Keep it up Mr. Nice Guy, I will be back on my next visit.

I unfortunately bought the Biscoff cake for my partners birthday. I will say it did look very cute but once we tried cutting into it, it just fell apart, couldn’t hold a slice, completely crumbled everywhere. I was then also very disappointed by the flavour. It tasted like dry cake with vanilla and caramel flavours not biscoff. So sad

Great presentation but lacking flavour. The vegan buttercream tasted very artificial, the chocolate cake was grainy and the popcorn was soggy. Disappointing.

Best doughnuts we've ever had

It's not wheelchair accessible as there is a step to get inside (I can't get my wheelchair in) but they are more than happy to meet me outside and bring out to me whatever I'm after

Charging $7 for a ONE plain-dry donut because it’s a public holiday is a RIP OFF. Avoid
Thanks for the response. While I do appreciate the challenges in operating on public holiday and more than happy to contribute to your employees’ pays, but putting $2 surcharge on a $5 item is unfair, unjustifiable and should be illegal! That’s %40!

Also operating those days do come with a cost. However, you’re still able to:
- Promote your business/products.
- Gain new customers from competitors.
- show reliability to your existing clientele.
- Maintain flow of production
- Make extra $$$

I believe everyone has supported local businesses enough in the past couple of years. So, Be fair!

This bakery is so good for dietary requirements. Gluten free soy free dairy free and vegan.
Had the double choc gluten free vegan cupcake and was delicious

Oh my heavens, this place is out of control!
I got the quiche, cinnamon scroll, apple caramel scroll, cheesy spinach scroll and everything was absolutely amazing. Staff were so lovely too and I was honestly shocked at the price because I expected to pay much more.
10/10 cannot wait to come back and eat everything in the store.

So sad to say that the customer service and communication here is very poor. A mix up with pick up dates due to a glitch on their website meant I only received half my order and was not offered a refund or replacement. Such a shame as I really wanted to support a local vegan business

We ordered a cake for my daughters first birthday who has a range of allergies. The team were really easy to deal with and the cake was delicious! 100% will be ordering again!

Well the name of the place lived up to its expectation. Greeted and served by a extremely nice and polite man.
I ordered two sausage rolls and a bronut (?) Which is a brioche style donut.

The sausage rolls were sizable and two left my struggling to finish.
Which made the bronut late for a bit later.
All above board and will visit again to try the pies.

Inside seating, ample parking around during the week.

Had the best soy latte ever considering how many coffee/espresso joints are here in Melbourne for that and besides great service and amazing delicious food I give you guys 5 stars because “I’m a Nice Guy”
