Mister Minit Southland

Really expensive for everything here.

I’ve tried for two different things - leatherman $80 (30%) more than other high street retailers and a key fob $90 when another shop on the other side of Westfield did it for $40.

My advice is to check your pricing before chatting with these this stand - very expensive.

I would like to thank David, Rayleen and Erin for helping me and for providing the best customer service I have experienced in a long time.

I had an issue with my Emporio Armani watch that was caused by the previous owner and now inherited by them as the new owners due to no fault of their own. Rather than say “it’s not my problem as we are the new owners” they repaired my watch at considerable expense to themselves and didn’t leave me in a vulnerable situation or out of pocket as a customer due to the new ownership.

For this I am very grateful as this level of customer service is rare.

Mister Minit now provide a range of services that were not available previously and without doubt they are my “go to” place for keys, batteries and repairs for shoes, watches, handbags and leather goods.

Thank you to David and the team at Southland. They were super helpful and ensured our new car key worked properly, which involved three or four trips to and from the car. They went the extra mile with a smile. Great crew. Cheers Simon

Really poor job etching on a trophy. Wrong sized font. Badly lined up. Stuck on at an angle. Virtually everything they could get wrong, they did. Terrible - you guys need to have more pride in your work.

Excellent service. Very polite and professional staff. Looked after my shoes and stretched them nicely. Had keys cut here too which worked well. Would recommend. Thank you.

I’ve used the services of this business several times recently, to buy saddle soap and have repairs done. The staff are friendly, the work was very good.

Got my knives sharpened at Mister minut and also I also inquired about replacing my watch band.
The staff were really friendly, especially Erin who was really helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

The staff member said it would be a 35 minute wait to change a watch battery. After 90 minutes, and three attempts to collect it after being told a few more minutes each time, it was finally ready. It says new management. Perhaps instead of both staff taking customers money, one should be actually doing the work and the other serving. We have visited before, when run by other staff and had no issue. Perhaps just finding their feet.

I had a pair of good quality Leather boots re sold & re heeled not so long ago. I was disappointed with the less than professional job. I took them back this week & was surprised that it was under new management. The chap was very friendly & agreed it was a shoddy job. He redid the boots at no cost & when I picked them up today I was extremely impressed with the fabulous job he did. They were even polished looking shiny and new. Highly recommend & I will definitely be back!

An opportunity lost to go abound and beyond. I had three keys cut, two of which were incorrect. Unable to track down my receipts I asked them to re cut. They admitted the wrong key was used in the first place but refused to help me without receipt. A very disappointed customer who will now share his experience with many others. Why not break protocol and assist when they could have?

Same day service. Got my daughter's ballet shoes rubber tips done. Phone number is down, but they are getting it fixed

I was very pleased with the customer service I received when I took my watch, which required servicing, to the Southland store.

Terrible experience at this place that old man with the tattoos should not be allowed to operate, it is obvious he has issues, stay away everyone go to the guy near David Jones! Never again

Couldn't recommend more highly!

Darren was fantastic in helping me with a broken car key disaster. He even went as far as driving 20 minutes to the location of the car to help recode and finalise the new key purchased from him.

Could not have asked for better service during the entire experience. I highly recommend Darren and his team. He has now become my go to for all Key/ Watch related repairs and adjustments.

Today, I have been to Mister Mint SOUTHLAND because of my shoes resole and Ajit did a wonderful job. Really happy with work and great custmor service.

Should be called Mister Next Day, cause that's how long it takes for them to do a 5 minute job. Also the attendant arced up when I put that to her.

I had a great experience at Mister Minit Southland. I went to two other stores looking to have a photo frame engraved. However, both stores told me that due to the material of the frame being plastic, this would not be possible. When visiting Mister Minit Southland, Darren was able to identify that the other stores were incorrect, and the material of the frame was actually metal and it would be possible to engrave it. Darren did an amazing job engraving the frame free-handed and my partner was extremely happy with the gift. I will definitely be returning for any other gifts or items I want engraved in the future.

Asked to see if I could purchase a custom QLD Maroons key and the man rudely said no and that they only do the blues.

I don’t normally use shoe repair services but I decided to give it a try.

I took my shoes to Mister Minit Southland and was quoted $75 to re sole and re heel. Haven’t done this to any of my shoes before so was happy to give it a go.

The end product was great! I was told that it would normally be a same day or next day service but due to the pile of shoes in for repair, it would take a few days.

Picked it up today and it looks great! Very happy with the end result. Shoes were polished too, not sure if it was part of the package or a free add on as I didn’t ask for it. But great either way.

Shockers, had a watch that worked before I went it, now it's faulty, and zero care all they did was cover their backside, and find a way to make it my fault.
Do not ever use them
**Update Now they want me to contact them about their service.ah i see.
A $450 watch that was working fine before i took it to them now needs $300 in repairs from Casio. (Plus the $60 i spent here that started this chain of disaster)
So yeah im doubling down, dont ever use them! Or go to this store at Southland.
Shocking service, shocking attitude, loads of bad reviews is no surprise. They certainly have a reputation.
