Had another watch maker try to take links out of my brand new tag watch for me and ended up damaging the pin and couldn’t get the watch back together. I then came to mister minit and saw Hayden, he fixed the problem the other guy screwed up and was very professional. He was really understanding and took great care with my expensive watch. He was very thorough and gave me the perfect fit that I was after. Highly recommend this establishment and their well trained workers.

Would not replace dud battery
I could show proof of purchase, but they accused me of being a liar stating I could have bought something else. I am 70 and do not appreciate being accused of telling a lie.
Would never return to Northland Preston Mr Minit

I had a problem with my shoes and the great staff fixed my shoe on the spot for no charge I would thoroughly recommend them friendly and funny thank you for helping me out yesterday

Technicians seem unkeen on taking new jobs. I went there to copy some keys. Waited more than 10 minutes at the counter and no one even acknowledged I was there. The technicians would glance my way then ignore me and start looking busy again. Tried a few waves, a few hellos and was completely ignored. I am pretty sure this business is not owned or partnered by the guys on the floor. Seems like they don’t want your business.

My usual place was shut during COVID so was grateful that Northland Mister Minute was open to change the battery in my 92 year old Dad’s watch in late Sept. The technician was very friendly and chatty, told me to come back in 20 minutes, all seemed great. My Dad complained his watch lost time and He had to keep “winding” it. I thought he was mucking around with it too much so did not think the recent battery change was at fault. Early Oct, my watch needed a new battery so I went back to Northland Mister Minute since the previous service was smooth and, I thought, professional. I saw the technician take a loose battery from a drawer and change my battery on the spot. He wasn’t as friendly or chatty this time, thought nothing of it, took my watch and left. A week or two later my watch also started to loose a couple of minutes per day and I needed to reset the time. I realised both my Dad’s and my watch most likely received old batteries, this was inconvenient and I was very annoyed, but yesterday I got round to taking both watches back to Northland Mister Minute to get new batteries in line with the 2 year warranty. I explained the situation to the technician and told him I thought he had given me dud batteries. I showed him evidence of my bank statement payments, and expected he would just honour the warranty. I did not keep the warranty cards or receipts. He strongly objected to my accusation that he gave me dud batteries, told me there’s nothing he could do because I didn’t have the physical warranty cards, and refused to consider the evidence of my back transactions as proof of purchase. He stated that the majority of his customers keep their warranty cards, which makes me wonder how many returns they get. He also suggested that maybe a should have the watches serviced. I got more annoyed, but, stayed factual. I left both watches there to be “tested” and he very happily told me they were both running perfectly. I was expecting that response and doubt that he ran any check; my fathers watch stopped before I reached the car park and mine continues to loose time. I didn’t argue with the guy, and left, suggesting he check out the ACCC website for information on what constitutes proof of purchase for warrant purposes. $44 for what I maintain is two dud batteries, along with service by a technician with a defensive, argumentative attitude who used dubious reasons for not honouring the 2 year warranty, is too much and just plain wrong! This was my first experience with dud watch batteries, I would never go back to or recommend Northland Mister Minute.

Worst experience in customer service. I only gave him the key that needs to be cut and straight away said that he can't guarantee that it will be cut well and we cannot demand a refund! What a joke, then he was very demeaning claiming that my key is the worst quality. I never asked for them to replace it and I will never go there again for anything! Disgusting person, while I was being patient and polite he kept blabbing on.

Edit: just read the previous reviews and the man who served me has many complaints and treats everyone with all the same bad attitude! Ridiculous that this guy is still working there. Poor staff and reflects poor management

Mr dirkish the srilankan looking guy in northland branch is the worst person I have ever seen. This guy broke my watch and then asked me to may more to fix it. All I asked him is to change the cell and in return he asked me for more money coz he apparently broke the needles/hands of the watch lol. Never go to Mister Minit ever guys specially the northland branch. Zero customer service, bad behaviour and just willing to charge more when you come back to receive your watch. Ridiculous.

Repaired and polished my shoes in an hour. I’m used to waiting 1 week at places in the city - so I’m impressed. Good service and hassle free. Recommend.

Good customer service - very informative and helpful, thanks. They stock many products made of quality materials, from diverse countries of manufacture (not only China)! E.g. Shoe brushes from Germany, dubbin from the USA and saddle soap from Australia.

Got quoted carkey from dealership $500, went to local mister minit. Made me a key and remote for half the price, only took 25 minutes.

After being stuffed around for 2 days trying to find a place to copy a set of house keys for my room mate, This was the only place that would do them. The staff member I spoke too, Hayden, acting with extreme professionalism to get this job done for me. Definitly will be comming back! 5/5!

DO NOT GO HERE TO GET YOUR CAR KEY OR KEY REPLACED. GO TO WYNNS DOWN THE ROAD. Had a bad phone call so I went in person. The person serving told me to come back on Monday when his boss was in to figure out what key i need. Boss wasn't in. Got quoted $150 just for the key and the chip in the key. I had a feeling I was being ripped off and it turns out I was right. I went down the road to WYNNS and they gave me a whole new electronic key, including chip for $170 - only 20 dollars more. The man at wynns was clear, explained everything properly and did it all on the spot.

*****BEWARE**** Fake ABN number on receipt. Fixed a watch for me which took them 2 months to hand it back to me and in a week was broken again. When asked about it was advised to come at another time putting the blame on me saying that it was dropped. The watch was just opened before I left overseas and not used at all. Staff really rude. Hopefully someone does something about this.

Had great experience in the past hence went there multiple times but totally unfair. Planning to lodge a complaint soon.

Brought my grandfathers army medals that was handed down to me, in for an engraving. Not only was the job done super quick but they were very friendly, actually seem to care about their work. Recommend to anyone
