Mister Minit Melbourne Central reviews
42Google says it closes at 9, rocked up at 8: 04 and it was closed. This place is low quality as it is but even worse for its hours to not even be accurate when you need watch links put in. Avoid
Thanks Jim. Gentleman, great service even though we got there right when the shop was closing. Thank you
Went to get a rubber topy sole put on some brand new loafers. They quoted $65 for the job, and when my shoes came back the glue job was shoddy and goes over the edges, there was glue on my shoe and the inside of the shoe at the heel was dirty and the heel itself was squished. Disappointed by this service.
Came in to get some new watches adjusted and batteries replaced. I left them with the attendant to pick up the next day, when I came to pick the next day they attendant read a note and charged me for the batteries plus band adjustments despite the bands not being adjusted at all (only batteries changed). Would not come back again, very poor service and now I must pay again to get the bands adjusted again.

I was very disappointed by the service,
The guy is so rude, he doesn’t know how to talk to customers
I had an issue with my sneaker and asked him can he fix or no he was very rude, and the same behavior happened last week as well.
I really don’t want to recommend this business to anyone! Waste of time and money with a rude boy!
Really upsetting customer service from very rude worker. Came to get my shoe repaired but when returned had a totally broken zipper which wasnt broken before. Literally came in with an issue and walked out with another issue. When I discussed the issue with the worker, they said "It's not my problem. "
I went to another shoe repair shop in the city and was told that they've heard scathing reviews of this place.
Even if their service is cheap, I really don't recommend coming here if it's gonna bring even more trouble.
Bought one tiny battery for my watch and they asked me to pay $15 when I bought exactly same battery for $4.95 somewhere else. A bit of a rip off!
Had a very frustrating experience, this shop's processes, communication and service is poor. I brought back my watch under the battery guarantee because it stopped within the 2 year period, and I was told it actually needed some repairs. I asked how much it would cost and how long it would take. I was told it would take a few days, and no charge. It actually took three weeks to get a callback, and when I turned up there was a different salesperson who said it would be $40. When I explained I was told different information by another salesperson, I was told to come back another day to try to talk to the original salesperson. I came back a different day but got a different salesperson again who also said it would be $40. By this point it had been over a month, so I just paid the money. The people I dealt with were polite and apologetic, but I shouldn't have had to come back so many times and explain the situation each time - the situation should have been proactive resolved instead of handballed. Very disappointing and a lot of unnecessary hassle - if I was told correct information at the start there would have been no problem.
The gentleman working here was so kind and fixed a family heirloom for free through very creative means. What a legend! Will be back again
1 star
Team quoted 17$ a tag
Came back it was 60$ per tag pure utter rubbish
Should be shutdown cost less from a mobile emergency fob key

Very very very extremely disappointed"worst customer service ever experienced in my life time' just 1 year ago I changed my Pulsar watch batterie and today that same batterie died off so I took it to same person (owner of the shop) together with my 2 yr guarantee card. I showed my guarantee card and the owner said this is not the same watch he replaced the battery, I told him this is the same watch u replaced my battery as per card. He then said that - stupid people like me always come with this excuse. He just literally verbally harassed me publicly. This person is so disrespectful, doesn't know how to speak to women like me.
So dodgy got a watch battery replaced 2 months ago and it has stopped working! Take it back and the guys not going to replace it unless I have a warranty card even though I can show my bank statement to prove purchase! How is this guy still in business? My last battery lasted 7 years. Avoid this place
So very disappointed. I got this engraving done today on a sentimental keepsake. When the name Tyler was engraved there was a gap between the Y and L. The writing didn’t even match, he tried to fix the error. The guy was far from professional. I told him that this was a keepsake. After a slight disagreement all he said was sorry under his breath. I walked away furious and felt he was over selling himself by showing the award he said he won, pointing and saying No 1, the best! Mmmm I would highly suggest to anyone wanting engraving done.stay clear of Mister Minute Melbourne Central.
It’s stated that they are closing at 7pm, I was off from work the past TWO days. I arrived at something around 6.15pm. The shop was closed for BOTH days. I think the shopkeeper was being lazy and left earlier than the stated time.
Dropped my watch off to have the battery replaced, and when I went to collect it, they wanted to charge FIFTY BUCKS!
A new watch battery should only cost $20.
When I asked why so expensive, they said "oh we had to use a special tool to remove the back. "
Well, so what? That doesn't justify charging an extra 30 BUCKS!
When I pointed that out, the next excuse was "oh well, it's an expensive watch. "
Well, big deal - it still uses the same battery!
This place is a blatant rip off, avoid at all costs!
I went in yesterday to get a spear key for my car. $90 later I get a kind of new key. My old key had been gutted and will NOT start my car.
Yes I asked if both keys will start my car!
Rip off service. You ask for a spear key you want both keys to work.
Closes at 7? Why am I standing here at a closed up shop? That's just plain annoying and means I will literally go anywhere else, even when you're open.
I asked how much it would be to replace my car key, guy said leave key with me and come back in 10. He replaced 2 batteries so it worked very occasionally and only the lock button. Charged me 45, I've had the batteries replaced before at another place for about 10 bucks. Absolute rip off and not even the service I requested.
Hey, this guy knows his stuff.
Quick service (while you wait) a job well done for me on a watch. He was customer arientated which is always a nice surprise these days.

Good collection and great prices!
Ties and other accessories like pocket squares, cuff links etc for under 10 and 20 bucks.
If you're not too fussed about brands and detailed quality, but just want variety, then this place is the best shop in Melbourne.
