Was not quite as good as we had been led to believe but still ok. Expecations driven to high perhaps? Focaccia got top reviews from those who ordered it.

Poached eggs do not belong on a brioche bun with flavourless pulled pork.

We had the Big Breakfast and Eggs Benedict and for the price it was well worth it. I can see why it was so busy, the food was delicious. I recommend the hash brown, it was the best we've ever had.

Our party of three visited on a Sunday morning. It was busy but we were seated promptly. The coffee is indeed great, in terms of both taste and fragrance. What prompted me to write my first ever food review, however, is our disappointment at the potato hash - over-cooked and hard, and at the realization that they brought it out even though it was visibly sub-standard. We were entertaining an overseas visitor, claiming to bring her to one of the top brekkie spots in the area, so we were embarrassed too.

Went mid-week, it's a busy and popular cafe. An average experience for me. Food took quite a while to arrive except for my friend who had ordered a focaccia. She'd finished before the rest of our food arrived. My hashbrown was crunchy and cold so probably precooked and left out. Coffee was what you'd expect; good, easy drinking. Place is set up for families as there were plenty of high chairs to go round. Disappointed that there was no baby change table despite adequate space in the disabled toilet, I had to use the very narrow bench in the ladies instead which was awkward and unsafe. Staff were good, cleared the tables quickly, circulated and checked in with our group at the appropriate times.

The fit out here is absolutely on point. Vibes are great and service was second to none. Super attentive and friendly staff are hide to find, but these guys have nailed it.

I had the veggie omelette which was really delicious. Very generous serving sizes, I actually felt a bit sick afterwards haha. Omelette was a little bit oily but didn't detract too much from my enjoyment.

My friends had the fritters and the potato hash - both were very much enjoyed! Again, big portions left us rolling out of there.

Keen to return and try the lunch menu, which looked equally as delicious!

Lined up waiting for service. No acknowledgement from staff. Then another group came in behind me. They got served first. Maybe I wasn’t enough of a hippy ‍️

This is a nice hidden busy cafe in Mont Albert! You wouldn't know it from the outside but it's lively and lots of space inside! Love the fritters and juices:)

Experienced the worst customer service I have ever had. Manager out right rude and only concerned with the dollars walking through the door. Literally give you 90 mins from the time you present at the door wanting a table. They actually timed us and just as we finished our meal moments earlier came over and asked us to move on even though we had only been seated for 75 mins. Give this place a miss better places around. Shame because the food is not bad.

By far my favourite place to go for brunch!
sometimes it can be a little busy but the most i have ever had to wait is maybe 10-15 minutes for a table.the food is ahmaaaazing to say the least and they also have my favourite brand of almond milk now!

Please brace yourselves for this long review. Had the most horrible experience here - if I could give zero star to this cafe I would. We planned to have a 9am breakfast for my mother in law's birthday so we booked a table for 7 adults & 2 high chair (please note that the 2 kids utilising the high chair are 3 year old toddlers who needs their own space on the table to have their meal). I specifically requested for the long table up front but was told that there was no guarantee as it is a table that fits a party of 12. - Which was fine to me as I imagine they would still sit us comfortably somewhere in the event that we weren't able to have that table.

Upon reaching there I was surprised that they SQUEEZED us in into one of their 'booth' tables. Just for your info the booth table sits about 6 adults, so they fit the 7th adult at the other end of the table and fit the TWO highchairs on the other end of the table. (which was horrible, we could hardly move, the 2 toddlers had to possibly eat/share on one small end of the table). Can you imagine how restless these two toddlers would be? Did I also mention that one of us is heavily pregnant? Therefore imagine our whole family trying to fit in this "booth". - I wished I had taken a photo of us on the table to show all of you how bad it was!

Meanwhile the long table in the front and in the middle of the restaurant was empty. They said they had a reservation at 11am which we assured we be out by then but they insisted that we can't go on that table due to their 1.5 Hours policy. So because we booked for 9am we were expected to leave by 10.30AM. Which puzzles me because hey, didn't we say we were gona be out by then? How are they losing business by giving us that table?

So they stuck us outside in a bigger table but that was not the end of our nightmare. There was a MASSIVE fan that was blowing in our faces which they said NO to turning off due to ventilation issues (there is two other fans aside from this one). Needless to say we weren't impressed. My poor husband and father in law was sitting under the scorching sun and they took ages and were initially hesitant to close the blinds.

Basically ALL the staffs there was rude. We ended up LEAVING and went to White Mojo down the road instead which was so much more pleasurable. That basically ruined my mother in law's birthday morning.

Also as we were leaving and paying for the few coffee we ordered and said how upset we were, the female and male manager were not apologetic at all but instead they even said "WE ARE BUSY".

Such a shame. I was there one other time by myself and thought food was decent although I was unsure about the staff's services that seemed 'rushed 'and by reading reviews by others here, I just confirmed that they are by far one of the rudest staffs ever. Being popular does not mean they get to give their patronizers a devilish attitude. This will not make your business any better. Needles to say, I will never ever patronize their cafe ever again.

My husband and I come here regularly. The food is always good and the portions are generous compared to other cafes in the area. Love the breakfast menu especially the fluffy buttermilk pancakes. Love the smoothies as well. There is seating indoors and outdoors. Pretty busy nearly all the time but service is generally good and speedy. We have never needed to wait for a table.

Only complaint is that why do they use fake kraft cheese rather than real cheddar cheese in their burgers?

Came here because of the raving reviews and was in dire need of brunch! I had the soft shell crab burger which was excellent and well worth a recommendation. Coffee was solid and my younger brother had a very tasty chat. Subtracted one star due to less than stellar service and a rather ordinary breakfast menu.

Fantastic breakfast. All the ingredients are really fresh. Coffee really good! Very nice and accurate interiors, always busy! Recommended

Great food and atmosphere. Great service. Very popular, and it's often hard to get a table so book in advance on a weekend. The locals love this place!

We came here this morning and all agree that we would definitely come back again. It is a very busy cafe, however the staff keep things moving quickly. It is also large enough that there is enough seating and isn't very loud. Our table for 4 was a bit cramped, however the lady serving us was considerate enough to create more room by removing the coasters under our coffee. Despite the many people, coffee arrived very quickly and was delicious. The food arrived in about 15 minutes which was also very quick considering the number of people. The food itself was quite good and exactly as described, however the interior and the coffee are definitely the stars of the place rather than the food. Customers complaining about the undisclosed 90 minute seating time should be mindful that it is a very busy cafe with many staff to pay and as such they must keep things moving in order to make a profit. The only recommendation that I have for the cafe is to do something about the sourdough bread, as I and many other reviewers agree that it is too hard to eat.

Great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Reasonably priced, good servings, friendly staff. Will definately go there again!

Great coffee, food is well presented, generous portions, flavorsome, perfectly poached eggs, attentive staff and nice atmosphere. A small improvement could be made in serving hot toast rather than cold and firm. Otherwise a great experience. I've been here before and I will be back again for the baked eggs.
