Minotaur reviews
60Cool store to buy pop-culture gifts. Lots of fiction novels, anime/manga, comics and boardgames. Large selection of figurines, collectables and other knickknacks from a wide range of TV shows, movies and videogames.
Great comic book store with loads of things to explore. All sorts of merch from comics to vinyl toy collectibles stuffed toys etc etc to suit all tastes. Lots of quirky fun stuff. If you've lost your Thanos gauntlet this is the place for you. Great staff too.
Highly recommend the guys and girls here. Huge range of comics, memorabilia and other goods like cards against humanity, funko pops and so much more.
"It's bigger on the inside! " - that's a doctor who reference. But really, I kept walking by but never stopped in until a week ago. It looks small on the outside, but there's so much stuff inside! A comic section, merch section, anime, manga, clothes, books, vinyl. A perfect nerd store! I'll definitely be back.
Everything in store is great but YOUR WEBSITE.
I don’t know why but some TCG products are in the Vinyl Figure section (some Pokémon boxes)
I can’t navigate my way around the site and the interface is awful. Please improve this.
Great store with lots of cool pop culture merchandise, but also an amazing book store if you like scifi and fantasy, and a great comic shop!
Incredibly rude staff. Staff member on the check out was on the phone for a while (that's cool I don't know the details so I'm not gonna judge) went to move to the other check out and had my head bitten completely off. Was told ". Some things are more important than you. " in the most bitter tone. Didn't feel like buying anything at that point. Was told ". Have a nice life. " as I quietly left.
Best collection of books, mags, collectibles and memorabilia in the CBD. I never get out of there without the wallet being a bit lighter.
It's a good place to find both hard to get and unheard of movies. I've bought for here before over the years and I'll buy from here again!
Minotaur is massive pop culture store, they've got everything from comics, collectibles, clothes, novels ect. I would recommend this store if your a hardcore fan of pop culture.
Do not purchase Manga from this store, they put extremely damaging security tags on their products, when I asked staff about it I was told I was fussy and they'll sell them to someone else, do not be that someone else order online from other companies.
I must admit i buy most of my novels online these days but Minotaur has an excellent selection of sci fi and fantasy novels if you need a fix right away
Really love shopping here, the prices can be high but consider also that a large chunk of their stock is imported and costs need to be covered. I can always find things here that I can't get anywhere else.
Excellent range of comics and other odd paraphernalia. Guaranteed to find something to nurture the inner nerd.
Staff are very disinterested and grumpy, but the biggest problem is that they put security stickers directly on the books that are so sticky, that they damage the books to take them off. I've now resorted to buying online, even though it takes a few days to get the books i want, it's cheaper and books aren't going to be damaged by their stickers.
Great place for comics but also for limited edition blurays, fan merchandise ecc. Really well stocked
Service is average to not great. Good range of products but they tend to be more expensive than other shops.
One of the best comic book and popular culture stores in Australia. A huge collection of books, comics, graphic novels, and pop culture items in one easy to find place. The store is well catalogued and the staff friendly. Items are generally arranged into topics of interest by pop culture group (e.g. Star wars or Star trek).
A great place for geek culture fans due to the variety of products, comics, gifts and stuff. However, everything is a bit pricey and it is not difficult to find better value for money in other stores.
