Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. Quality service, food and atmosphere. Highly recommend sitting on the chefs table for great entertainment and theatre of it! Everything was absolutely perfect.

My partner and I came here for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. We were fortunate enough to sit right in front of Minamishima's work station, watching as he made each beautiful piece of sushi. Dining here truly is an experience that is unique and beautiful. The service is flawless, each bite has something new and exciting to offer. We cannot recommend Minamishima highly enough.

Excellent food and service. Recommend the matching sake rather than wine, even just for the explanation of the different drops, faultless.

Food was great. But very less option for vegan and vegetarian people. Would love to visit this place again if they will increase some vegan options. I love Japanase food

My wife and I went there last night to celebrate her birthday. We had a fantastic time there. The service was out of this world and the food was excellent. Highly recommended to whoever who wants to have a fancy dining experience with a top notch service. The food is pricey, but it's worth every penny.

I had the fugu specials along with the omakase and it was breath taking. The build up of the course was done so perfectly. I felt that the implementation of japanese seafood into each course makes the diner feel as if they were in japan itself.

Omakase at the sushi bar was worth every penny! Hands down the best in Melbourne. To add on, the atmosphere was lovely and staff was friendly and super attentive.

Decent sushi. However it is NOT worth the price! I believe they purely inflate the price because they fall under the FINE DINING categorie it is a complete RIPOFF. If you want really good sushi without the price tag and wankey fine dining. Go to Shiranui in Glen Waverley

Hands down the best Japanese restaurant I've been to in Melbourne! Waitstaff were friendly and attentive, and the food was presented with care, perfection and humility. I was literally crying inside a little as we savoured each and every bite, because every chew meant that we are getting closer to the end of the experience. Minamishima is the reason we get up in the morning and go to work. We will definitely be back as soon as we can!

You have to experience this place at least once in a lifetime. If you can afford it, maybe more often than that! This is a reservation-only place, so make sure you book first. You'll appreciate the effort that goes into what they serve. One of the rare times I wish I'm really rich - so I can afford to go everyday. I've only been there once. Really sad!
