Mildura Arts Centre reviews
51Brilliant, Rio Vista Home is worth seeing, there is a terrific licensed cafe, and excellent facilities
We love this place! They're family friendly and host so many different types of events to appeal to all tastes.
It's the only place to see decent art and performing artists and comedians with in this rural town. Very lucky to have a place like this.
Even though the woman on the front desk was very helpful the place lacks energy. It was quiet, hadn't kept it's website visitor information up to date and didn't compare well to other regional galleries.
It was amazing day at the India Festival. The music and dancing was sensational. The fireworks display was an amazing finish to a wonderful day.
Great old historic building in Rio Vista which one of the founders in WH Chaffey built in 1889 and a modern art centre next to it
I have visited the Arts Centre numerous times from when my brother was with the Ballet Guild when it was run by the one and only Algeroff in the early 1970's. Since then I have attended many functions varying from my grandchildrens dance routines to shows that have been a great honour to have been able to attend but I was very disappointed at the last one I attended which was the Cliff Richard show. I know management do their best to get the best entertainment available but I must say I was disappointed with this show.
My first visit to Mildura. Enjoyed viewing the Historic arts centre with my niece and her husband
A must place to see when visiting Mildura. Learn how interesting the first settler of this place.
Step back in time here and enjoy the design and construction of the bygone era. The sprawling rooms, rich timbers, terrazzo floor, fRio Vista offers the old and history. The Arts Centre the new - and great coffee! We spent a couple of hours enjoying these two complementary spaces that speak to past and present
We were fortunate enough to have the Rio Vista home to ourselves and we could wander around freely and at our leisure. It was very well presented and a large house with great attention to detail. The exhibition quality was exceptional and the work on refugees wonderful. I particularly loved Rosina Byrne’s suspended grief work.
