Mildura Arts Centre reviews
51It is great to be able to go to a modern comfortable Theatre and enjoy national shows as well as great and talented local shows.
Nice spot, some great artwork. The Chaffey exhibition and building interesting. Pity the coffee shop was closed a 2pm though
Beautiful old Queen Ann style building, now part of the Arts Centre, with a new section, well done, adjoining.
HOWEVER, built by SLAVE LABOUR.
Nice place to visit and look at art work great to just sit and relax, large lawn area for the kids to burn of some energy
Visited the Rio Verde Homestead, beautifully restored home of the Chaffey family. The stained glass was stunning.
We only visited the coffee shop, which had lovely coffee, food and good wine, could spend a great afternoon sitting outside sipping wine
A great facility for Mildura with three large exhibition areas. Unfortunately ground level display closed to public on my visit.
The historic Chaffey home adjoining the gallery is well worth a visit.
Was very disappointing last night to find that our seats had been changed, booked a year and a half ago for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow to find out that someone who booked a week ago got our seats, ended up getting moved back a row from where we were meant to be, picked that row for a reason but unfortunately got moved further away from the stage.
Rio Vista is a historic manor now restored with a harmonious colour scheme, great workmanship and attention to detail. The fountain and landscaping just adds to the authenticity and though the old and new buildings of the complex are connected, they are kept visually separate.
This was a chance encounter, staying close by.
We had a river cruise booked so did not have time to explore the rest of the centre, still the Rio Vista remains the highlight of our latest stay in Mildura and fits into the historic theme of paddle steamers, Psyche pump and the homestead walk.
Next time.
Great museum that tells the story about this fantastic city that Mildura is. I absolutely advise you to visit it if you're interested in the city's history. In this place you can find many art works and the entrance price is definitely worth the visit.
Overall facility of a high standard disappointed at limited art exhibition. Historical homestead set-up and display was excellent and worth the visit if just for that
Across the board excellent customer service, happy, helpful, knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed the show.
It is well worth a visit to this lovely historic home. The stained glass is particularly stunning. There is no cost to visit the house and it is adjacent to the art gallery.
Great facilities and fantastic customer service. Bringing a good variety of quality shows for greater Sunraysia to enjoy.
Loved the Arts Centre when I stayed at Mildura. Both of my stays were enlivened by visiting the centre and enjoying the exhibitions on offer.a great place to spend time
Clean and pleasant to be inside. QR scanning upon entrance. Came for an art showing. Cafeteria with minimal drinks and munchies available.
Beautiful place to visit. Gardens are well kept and the fountain is magnificent. Well worth a visit.
Nice centre with interesting exhibitions, and the house was an interesting trip through history.
Gorgeous house with historical value to the area. History of the house is interesting, and the stained glass windows are superb. Gardens are well kept with arty sculptures in the gardens. Definitely worth going through, and is free.
