Middels

A surprisingly refreshing place to enjoy a delicious meal right in the heart of downtown Drouin - will keep it on my favorites

My wife and I were looking forward to a nice relaxing dinner without the kiddies. We decided on Middels as it had a great range of Tapas which we both enjoy. We ordered an assortment of 6 dishes and were quite excited when we saw mains going out to other diners as they looked amazing. Unfortunately when our Tapas arrived we were quite disappointed straight away. There were issues with all but one of the Tapas.
I did try to enjoy it as I didn't want to spoil our evening but it got to a point where we both thought it wasn't good.
When we were asked how everything was I did politely explain that we weren't happy and the staff relaid this to the kitchen.
I was then informed that they had run out of the beverage I had ordered.
When it came to settle the bill I was asked again how everything was so I explained politely for a second time how disappointed we both were.
I was very impressed at the way Sarah took my comments and that notes were made to be discussed with the kitchen after.
I was then given a discount and sincere apology.

After receiving this we may try them again but probably go with the mains.
