Went there for lunch today. The staff member that greeted me at the door really needs to work on her customer service skills (old lady with the brown bob). Ridiculous price charged for a childrens cupcake that was dry. If I had to give a positive it would be to the blonde lady that served us, she was lovely and so friendly. Just a pity the other one was so grumpy as she brings the place down!

The tapas is awesome but none of us were really keen on the beetroot arancine balls, sort from that the food and service is great

Location is nice with a good table for indoor dine-in and alfresco. They good good selection of food, but the steak we ordered are just so so. They could have done better. Chips are soggy, even the calamari. My chicken burger buns are burned. The bruschetta is good.

Always double check your bill before paying.

Horrible the food was raw staff was rude and arrogant food came out very late and tasted awful the price for the qaulity of food is horrible no pride in their establishment chicken was raw very small portion was like eating a kids meal

We've been to Middels numerous times previously and always been happy with the service and quality of food. Tonight we came for dinner and all of the food was tasteless, service was lacking and we asked numerous times for colouring to entertain the kids but didn't receive any. Meal overal cost $200 and the food quality was nowhere near good enough to ask that price.

We had an amazing afternoon covid catch up with a mate. Great food, great staff and great prices. We will be back

I've been there a couple of times now, both dinner & breakfast. & it's not bad, but I've also had better, especially for the price.
Staff need to smile & work on their customer service a bit more, I didn't really feel welcome the last time I was in there.
It's a nice atmosphere though, its a quaint little place but still only 3 stars.

Made a reservation and was told by a staff member that we could stay for up to 2 hours. After 1.25 hours the manager asked us to leave as we were about to order dessert. We explained that we had called earlier and booked 2 hours and the manager said 'I doubt that' and inferred we were liars. Disappointing service, rude and poor communication skills with a lack of respect. We will never be back!

It's been a while since I've been to Middels. I went with my friends and we shared a few tapas dishes. The GF and Veg options were great and the dishes did not disappoint - so moreish. And when we couldn't decide on dessert, we had a selection or macarons! They are not to be walked past - they must be tried!

I decided to try a new restaurant for my birthday dinner, BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER soon as we walked in. We were seated pretty much at the front door 5 of us with a baby, we waited 1 hour for our meals only to be given the wrong order and was told the correct order will be ready in 10 minutes! I waited 15 minutes, I wasn’t going to wait any longer. We paid for the meals we received and complained about the service only to be told sorry about that! Thanks Middels I had no dinner. I would give a zero rating if it was possible, don’t waste your time or money to go there

Used to be a very nice place with very nice food and coffee Not any more. The last meal I had there, mid August, mushroom risotto was very, very bad: undercooked onion, tasteless bottom mushrooms and rice swimming in milky water. Yuk! The mocha was awful too. Will not go again, as the previous two visits were also very disappointing!

Great breakfast menu at the moment, but each and every time that we visit, none of the floor staff ever regularly check to see if you're ok for drinks, whether it be coffee/juice at breakfast time or soft-drink/alcohol at lunch/dinner time. This place could make soooooo much more money if management drummed it into their floor staff, to regularly check if customers are ok for drinks. As every cafe/restaurant knows, drinks are where the REAL money is made!

We went to Middels for dinner. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the meals are nice. The tapas are very generously served. The restaurant staff is very friendly. It is a great place. All we've ordered was well and nicely prepared but for the pork which was too salty. Otherwise everything sounded great. Thank you for this great moment.

Lovely place, very busy but meals were good. Coffee and cakes are fantastic. That parma could feed 2 people.

Had a beautiful tapas meal with hubby yesterday night. We ordered 4 tapas plates, 3 of the 4 were great menu items. The 4th one - sticky pork belly, we were not a fan, very salty and the sauce is very overpowering. The waiting staff were nice, attentive and very polite. However, the young lady (with double eye lashes) at the till, taking our payment needs some training - plain wrong attitude and couldnt care less - no customer service skills at all.

This is our favourite restaurant in town, always delicious meals and last night they nailed it when we dined in for my husbands birthday. Meals are a very generous size and the service was fantastic!
Been a few times over the years but yesterday was the BEST!

Our dinner last night was fantastic, everyone was very impressed with their meals.and the service was just as good. We have been to Middels before and it was always good but this time they really nailed it. Maybe there is a new chef in town?
