Yummy food and courteous hosts. Loved the experience. They even had colouring books and mini games for the little one.

This place is absolutely buzzing on Thursday night! Tried it after thinking about it for a few months and boy were we happy that we did. Got tempted by some samosa type starters, one beef filling and the other lentils. Both delicious! Then shared a meat combination platter and it was super good too! The wines by the glass were better than I expected and reasonably priced. Excellent, I will be back very soon!

Very tasty Ethiopian food. We liked the shared plate where you wrap the bites with the pancake like wraps, no utensils. While there is no kids menu, this is a fun and low key dinner with children.

Best ethiopian restaurant in Melbourne by far. Took my fiancee for very nice dinner, and can't recommend the restaurant more, top notch service and amazing food, 5 stars any time!

Had the Herbivore Combination platter, now I love getting wrist deep in but dang I wanted to lick that plate dry. Perfect amount of everything, flavours to die for and extremely under priced for the mouth party I just had. Amazing amazing amazing, will be back for sure.

I LOVE Ethiopian food, and this place is outstanding. The vegetarian platter is the most amazing array of delicious flavours. I keep going back again and again!

Yumm food and nice vibe! Brought my friends here for the first time and they loved it too. Lots of vegan and vegetarian dishes to choose from.

The interior is friendly and welcoming. There a many little details focused on the ethopian culture. There were many traditional dishes to choose from but this was our first time trying anything from the african continent so we decided to try the plate that gives us a chefs selection.

The service was great and the ambience was lovely and cosy.

A very colourful dish with a variety of different meats, there was chicken, beef, lamb and goat, they were sitting on a bed of ethopian style flour bread (this was the most filling part) the side salad included was a garden salad we really enjoyed this dish.the plating style was really interesting and you just have to remember to wash your hands before you start esting with them!

we also couldnt get past taking two sambosas home as they looked amazing.they reminded us of mexican fajitas only in a different skin.you can have vegetarian or meat and when we took them home they were still amazing to eat with the chilli salsa.we are excited to go back again and try more dishes on the menu.good luck to the team.

I stopped by MESOB in September, and the food didn't disappoint. Tasty dishes with plentiful serving sizes. The restaurant had a nice feel as well with a wonderfully pleasant staff. I loved my first visit to Australia, and I enjoyed the food at MESOB.
