Menya Ramen reviews
74Fast and friendly service, a serving can feed 2 to 3 people and when i asked for no onions they actually listened! Really nice place to have lunch!
This place was really good for the amount of food you get. It was a mountain of ramen. Only issue is that if you don't want to eat much, then you might feel guilty of leaving it.
The service was good and organised. The waiters always kept in top of the maintenance of the place.
Proper Ramen great staff and good range of products the place where you can see the real Japanese way of eating.
Had a meal here, tried the famous ox tongue, around $15 if im not mistaken, its really good. You can choose whether u want it to be spicy or not.
Probably the worst ramen and Japanese Curry I've ever had. Both were watery and tasteless. Not worth a visit when so many other amazing ramen and Japanese options are nearby.
Ordered the unagi fried rice, unagi was coated with flour and deep fried, completelt different from the picture on the menu, also mixed into the rice was shrimp and beef bits, super oily as well. I would not recommend anyone to go and eat here.
It is listed as a japanese restaurant, but the cooking style is all chinese cooking, super oily. It is deceiving people into thinking its a japanese restaurant. Fake!
The katsu don is great as well as the egg, not particularly a fan of the sauce but it pairs nicely with the rice.
Average offerings and mediocre taste and presentation. It's more a fast food chain than the real thing. Don't have much expectation you'll be fine, it's ok for the price, for Melbourne that is.
Food was awesome until one of the waitress shouted at us (me and my wife). I totally understand if some of them are came from non-english-speaking country. The time waitress speak something and I didn't recognize what she was trying to say, I asked twice "pardon"? Then she yelling at us. Serving customer is one of the key that essential to the business entity. Keep in mind
The service is very disappointed. The staff took the wrong order and blame it on us. She said we order it and there is nothing they can do about it.
Always crowded most of the time. Not suitable for a big group unless they allow you to make a booking.
The food are good and they served you fast.
Many families and students come here to have lunch or dinner. Friendly service and environment.
Love love love this place. It's my once a month treat to go, sit, relax and enjoy great food and a nice ambiance. Thank you also to the friendly staff.
I love the gyutan don and the gyoza.the gyutan (beef tongue) is very tender and delicious, but i think the ramen here is average and not special.
Food are okay and serve very fast. For service nothing much to say. Maybe I'll visit again because it's cheaper than some places.
Best place in town for value for money cheap yummy eats.no one I have brought there has been disappointed so far with the exception of gluten free/ other nice dietary needs
Come here Saturday for lunch. Not so busy. So you have to grab menu, find table, select item, order & pay at the cashier. According to the staff, favorites ramen here are tan tan, Kani (crab), & teriyaki beef.
We order Menya Ramen, seafood, is ok. A bit plain for my taste. Kani ramen, is lovely, spicy, with crispy fried soft shell crab. Fried gyoza is also good.
I won't try it again. Worst Japanese food in my life. Please don't try. Believe me.
吃之前還不相信,我錯了,請相信之前的評論,這輩子吃過最難吃的食物。
Must try their gyu tan don (marinated ox tongue with rice) its $17.50 now, they keep hike up the price for this dish, as this is the most popular one. If only the customer service as good as the food, it would be even better. The music is too loud and its the same music over and over again.
A place for you to find relatively cheap cooked food. That's all you can find. Ramen was bad, no flavor. Don, rice dishes was no better. Few slices of fried chicken with barbecue sauce.overall, disappointing experience.
