Menya Ramen reviews
74It's an affordable ramen restaurant that offers generous portions, very good value for money. The taste is delicious, and the staff pays great attention to detail.
Ramen broth very fishy, no seasoning, pork very tough and lacking flavour. Agadashi tofu missing the Dashi, not traditional. Dumplings were ok.
The Gyutadon (Ox tongue) is recommended. Get the spicy one to get chopped chilli on top of it
This is a great place especially for students!
The food tastes good and portions are large for the price. Their “katsu don” is very light and crispy.
It is a bit salty for my taste but otherwise I enjoy it!
Super tasty Chinese food and reasonably priced. At lunchtime there is a cheap meal for lunch and you also get table water. The service is extremely friendly - we would go here again and again.
Hella expensive for a bowl of gyutandown.the price keep on increasing! I agree the taste of the gyutan is great.but the price makes me think twice to order
Very rude customer service. The owner yelling at people and mess up the order without apology. Kick people out of the restaurant and saying they don’t want to do your business.
This is one of the worst ever dining place I have ever step into! They are closing at 930pm and they serve our food at 915pm and DEMANDED US to finish our food in 10 mins because they are closing sharp at 930pm. Treat us customers like beggar!
What kind of restaurant is this?
One of the worst ever!
Please do not step into this restaurant.
Staff are beyond worst, attitude totally zero!
One of the worst ever! Ever! Ever!
Make sure do not step into this place if you don’t want to get chase out.
Manager made no comprises for forgotten order that took 30 minutes to arrive while the other members had already eaten their food.
We asked for extra sauce but they refused and tried to charge extra $3 dollars.
Today is the first time i try o-bento and although I appreciate the quick service, I am very unhappy to find the takeaway packaging incredibly unprofessional. I ordered the ramen and was upset when the soup was not separated from the noodles, which made everything so soggy and tasteless. It’s really sad when I can’t enjoy the meal that I paid for on Boxing Day. It definitely has not left a good impression for me as a customer.
We ordered two dishes, but one came out in less than 10 minutes, and the other didn't come out after 20 minutes, so I asked when the food would be served, and the man who seemed to be the manager or owner said the kitchened messed up, so he asked if we still wanna get it or if we want a refund
Of course, the two of us got only one dish, so we asked them to make it, but the food came out only after making all the food for the family table in the back, the couple table next to us, and the takeaway guests. It tooks 43mins from we ordered.
In general, if you got a problem, shouldn't you solve this problem first?
So disappointed
The niku beef udon taste just like the one in my highpoint shopping centre food court. I think the bowl should be bigger to fit more noodles.you don't want your food to squash in a smaller bowl.
The spicy gyu tan don is the best item on the menu. The chilli is proper spicy so be warned. When i first tasted it it was 15.5 but that was a few years back, you cant get this price anymore but it didnt stop me from driving 45 minutes to get this. I also omce saw someome order 6 serves of gyutan (without rice) in one go. I dont know why theres a difference but the gyu tan don here on Elizabeth street is SO MUCH better than the shop in Melbourne central. Strongly recommend
Detailed, consistent flavours for such a large menu/establishment. A dope chain, thanks heaps to our East Asian fam ️️
Very large portions of both the gyudon and udon, had to pack the leftovers. Food is comforting but nothing to write home about. Good for a cheap big feed.
Great place. Affordable and plenty of seating. Servers always had smiles on their faces. My friend and I ate there 2 days in a row. We would’ve gladly paid more because of how good the food and service was
Restaurant is okay, Plenty of sitting for indoor and outdoor.
May need to be vigilant about their hygienic level of utensil, cutlery and water bottles.
Taste was pretty good but was a bit disappointed with the proportion of food. I ordered katsu curry don, received a lot of rice with very little curry and chicken.
Simply amazing,
Food tastes absolutely fantastic and is well priced,
And comes out hot fresh and fast
Gyu Don is good here also order ramen but soup tasted like bamboo. I would recommend to keep it out of soup if you order.
