Such an amazing clinic and staff. Cannot thank sue and Chris enough especially. I was being managed somewhere else prior to finding them and my experience here was 10 x better. Thank you so very much

TLDR: I wouldn’t recommend the practice. I was unhappy with the manner and body language of the dermatologist which conveyed that they didn’t truly care about my well-being, and upon providing private feedback via email they couldn’t even respond to me themselves. I even asked if it was me who did something wrong to offend them, but alas I guess I’ll never know.

Receptionists and nursing staff worthy of at least 4 stars! My previous dermatologist Emma was also quite good, but then she moved to a different country. The dermatologist however, in my experience, doesn’t seem to convey care for me as their patient particularly in my last consultation at the practice. Upon emailing the practice with my feedback on the consult about my dermatologist’s manner (along with other things), all they had the time for was getting Sue (a brilliant, friendly, and caring receptionist) to call me back. They didn’t respond to my feedback at all and Sue passed on the message that they’re “sorry you interpreted the consult that way”. When your dermatologist asks, “is there anything else? ” with a tone I didn’t appreciate about 2.5min into your consultation when they’re meant to know your medical history it just doesn’t convey care, because if they did care wouldn’t they just ask how my other skin problems are progressing? I’ve been attending the clinic since 2018, I thought I would at least deserve at a minimum a brief email from them responding to some of the things I mentioned in my email or telling me their point of view. But no, I guess they just don’t care if I leave the clinic after 3 years, bu$iness must be pretty good.

I'm so grateful for all that Dr. Chris Jalilian has done to help me combat my skin problems. Around 3 months ago, I went in for my initial consultation and felt rather embarrassed of how my skin was looking. Today, I can confidently walk around mask-free and not worry about people looking at me. Dr. Jalilian has given me my confidence back and I would 100% recommend Melbourne Skin & Dermatology!

Staff are fantastic (super nice), and my dermatologist (Dr Jane Li) was extremely welcoming and understanding. Wait time wasn't long at all. Highly recommend

Was able to get an urgent appointment at the request of my GP very quickly. The receptionist ladies were so lovely and helpful both on the phone and in person when I arrived. Dr Chris Jalilian was extremely friendly and helpful and gave me a treatment for my condition which has helped immensely. The clinic is lovely and new and I would recommend this clinic to anyone.

I am a severe eczema sufferer and dr chris has helped manage my skin. During covid I have been looked after greatly. The reception staff and warm, friendly and super helpful. Highly recommend!

I went to see Chris Jalilian after being told I had a BCC on my forehead. As a 35yr old other of 2, I felt really worried and nervous to be dealing with severe sun damage so young. Chris was so lovely and reassuring. My skin type means I'm high risk and he did a thorough check of my whole body and told me to come back in a few months to check again. He referred me onto a plastic surgeon to remove the BCC on my face and followed up afterwards. Chris has such a kind and caring manner and all of the staff at the Melbourne Skin and Dermatology were so welcoming and friendly. I won't trust anyone else with my skin now. I highly recommend.

I am only giving 3 stars to the admin staff, as they were friendly and professional.
But I dont think I will be returning to this clinic that charges $255 for only a 10 minute appointment. The doctor seemed to be rushing me and was not thorough at all about the issues I wanted to talk about. Didnt even ask to see what I was talking about. For the price, I wanted to go over a few things, but hardly had time to explain one condition. Ripped off.

Dr Chris was recommended to me by my previous dermatologist who retired. I have been under his care now for about 2 years now and cannot speak more highly of him and his team. A special thanks to nurse Alix who does a wonderful caring job, always with a kind smile.

At a young 73 yo age it was not pleasant to get rid of my asthma that i had all my life and develop itchy dermatitis. Rather have asthma. Chris and his pharmacy team came to my rescue.made up some special cream and over a short period got that under control. Also convinced me it was ok for blokes to use moisturizer lol.so no hesitation in awarding his clinic 5 stars.

Dr Jalilian was very friendly and professional. He was able to solve the issue I presented with as well as assisting me to further improve my appearance. I highly recommended his services.

I was very impressed with the service & professionalism on my visit to Melbourne Skin & Dermatology. I felt very comfortable with the dermatologist, the environment was clean and the staff were very friendly. I would highly recommend this clinic.

Can not recommend Dr Chris & his staff highly enough. Clinic is first class along with the services. The pharmacy team are also brillant.
The skincare products themselves are by fair the best I have ever used, never using anythinh else from now on.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. I didnt feel the dermatologist was thorough enough and informative. I didn’t feel
welcome at all. No help and very expensive. Wouldn’t have mind paying the price if it was worth the visits. Left feeling very annoyed.

Very happy with Chris and the advice he has provided me with so far. I don't feel rushed when seeing him and he thoroughly answers any questions and concerns I have.
