Never go to this hotel, it is the worst service you can have.the receptionist is too rude. They have no idea of ​​customer service several people at the entrance told me the same thing. The receptionist had treated them very badly.

Had to find emergency accommodation close to eye & ear hospital. Basic accommodation but clean, comfortable and quiet at a reasonable price. Would use again.

Well appointed - clean, great location - short walk to great restaurants, shops and street markets on Brunswick St. Short walk to St Vincents Hospital. Conference facility good, well appointed kitchen. Friendly helpful staff. Parking included.

Great safe and clean hotel to stay in and the staff were absolutely wonderful.with hubby in st Vincent's hospital (5 min walk) I felt so secure here on my own.

Conveniently located close to Brunswick, Gertrude and Smith Streets. A great place to spend the weekend with reasonably priced rooms which are clean, large and have good facilities.

Parking can be a little challenging for larger vehicles, however there is ample undercover parking and the staff are friendly and the property is secure.

Absolutely disgusted with this motel and its service. We stayed here the 24th, 25th and 26th of April 2021, and the bathrooms have mould build up in the bathroom, it looks like it never get cleaned, the air conditioning is terrible, the wi-fi doesn't really exist, the restaurant is closed as they do not have a chef, the rooms don't get serviced, they don't clean the rooms as we had to go to reception to ask for towels, and only get given 2 towels when we have 4 people in our room, and we have 2 children with autism.
I would not recommend this motel to anyone.

Lovely place to stay the staff are so friendly and helpful I would be very happy to book into this motel again all so the motel rooms are very comfortable and clean five star experience for a reasonable price

The hotel is not only the cheapest in price in the region but leaves me with the impression of a more expensive hotel thanks to the friendly staff and overall visual look outside and simple cleanliness inside.

I was here for a PD day and must say the facilities are quite good. I don't know what the rates are, but the food supplied and coffee/tea facilities were good.

Easy check in and check out. Clean and spacious room. Free and secure parking. Good breakfast and perfect cappuccino.

The location and facilities were excellent, and the staff very friendly and helpful. After a mix up with my mother misplacing an item after check out the staff were very helpful for what in the end was her mistake. The location was great for taking my elderly father to St Vincents early in the morning and the apartment that i booked for them was very comfortable, i would recommend Metropole Brunswick st any time

I went there with a group and the staff was very friendly. However, the rooms decor is very dated. I went to use the blanket in the wardrobe and it was dirty. I left it on the floor for the house keepers to change but instead they folded back in the wardrobe.

I have to say that as a long time guest of the Metropole I have always been welcomed, looked after, and sometimes amazed by the quality of service from Gavin and his staff. Tonight for instance the restaurant had closed and I rang for room service. Rather than fob me off they asked the kitchen and I was treated to one of the best lamb souvlaki I have ever eaten. My thanks to the staff, the chef and the kitchen for ensuring my stay once again exceeded my expectations. Thank you.

I find the Metropole, very cosy having just stayed there for 11days, staff are unreal, helpful in every way, very pleasant n chatty, went out of their way to help us, thank you so much and see you next time, would recommend it not far from St Vincent's Hospital, thank you

Really relaxed and clean, i was staying alone after arriving late at night. The security gates and extra security services made me feel safe walking around the grounds to find my room. The room was immaculately clean with all your creature comforts and a full size bathroom.
My only complaint is the pillows are thin. Ahaha.
Aside from that the room was great and the staff i met in the morning was kind, cheerful and polite.

Conveniently situated in the inner burbs of Melbourne. Tram stop out the front and so many great places to eat, have drinks and hang out. We enjoyed happy hour, a swim in the pool and the convenience of breaky in house before a busy day at a conference. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially as we were a bit stressed on arrival, thanks!
