I absolutely love my guitar lessons. I think Michael is a great teacher I find my lessons really enjoyable.

Michael took the time to get to know me and what my goals were and then created a lesson program that lined up with everything that I wanted to do. It was very different experiences I've had with other teachers (he was actually organsied) and one that fast tracked my playing and made me feel good as I could see my progress each week and was enjoying each lesson. I started here after a motorcycle incident in order to rehabilitate couple of broken fingers on my left hand. Having 'some' but minimal experience I was hesitant at first because my past experiences had kind of stolen my zest for guitar due to stagnation of progress. Well heading towards 3 months at MGA and I can proudly say this is NOT the case here and i'm confidently coming to terms with 3 songs of my choice, understanding multiple aspects of guitar and music in general that all seemed so daunting just a short time ago and very excited even at my age, to be participating in the inaugural student concert. This is all because of the quality of the instructors and the simple methodology they use to impart skills and encouragement not so much for the business but for the students to achieve the goals set by the students themselves. As it happens my first set goals whilst still incomplete are now being added to as a result of the potential I now feel is realistic because of the great personal approach and support here. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)

Hi Guys Make sure before signing auto debit read terms and conditions i faced issues they wont cancel auto debit on easy regarding this service is very poor they are not cooperate and even though cancelled lessons with verbal and written still they will submit auto debit from my account regularly, this is not fair i dont like to send my children to this academy service is not good.

Helped me learn the ins & outs of playing guitar and has taught me so much in only a short amount of time. The teachers are friendly and have a genuine interest in not just your guitar playing but your social life as well!

I was a complete novice on the Guitar, but the team are dedicated and make it super easy to learn now my guitar is no longer sitting in the corner of my room I am able to play it each night and what was once a dream after years of being influenced by Slash, Orianthi, Angus (AC/DC) and my personal favorite David Gilmore I can now bravely continue learning thank-you so much Melbourne Guitar Academy! Michael's lessons are second to none. His approach is extremely flexible, catering to all levels of skill, and the personal flair each of his staff bring is the cherry on top of what's already an incredible culture. Awesome place to learn, jam and grow.

I started out as a try hard electric guitar player. Michael broke me of my bad habits and made me actually understand what I was doing, now i feel like a musician. Definitely recommend him

Michael is a great teacher and a talented guitarist. If you decide to try him out I remind you to take a very close look at the paperwork you sign when joining up for lessons, doing this will avoid any issues you may experience if you wish to cancel your direct debit payments.

This is exactly the tuition I had been looking for. After years of going around in circles finally have started to make progress into becoming a better guitar player. The path to God like guitar status has been shown to me.

I've had lessons at a few places but none of them compare to Melbourne Guitar Academy. Michael took the time to go through my goals with me and set out a lesson plan which gives my lessons direction and keeps me progressing forward. The studio is professional, the learning environment is friendly and I would highly recommend lessons here to everybody!
