If you enjoy Indonesian food, then this is a place to try! The food here brings me home to my middle school days. Eating 'bakso' with friends right after school as a treat for a day of hardwork.

I randomly came across this place while in South Melbourne and could not be happier. Unlike its ordinary look from outside, Meetbowl serves mouth-watering Indonesian laksa, beef soup with noodles, and the like. These dishes are especially great during the cold windy days and are an absolute bang for the buck. The service is also rather fast and you can pay by card as well.

One of the go to place for classic Indonesian dishes. Their specialty include fried minced chicken balls, wontons, yamien noodles, and chicken and mushroom noodles (I have preference for the flat noodle to thin noodles).

Baso goreng and Mie Ayam are my favorite recommendation for those who wants to try authentic Indonesian cuisine.

Went there after a recommendation by my brother in law. Overall food is pretty good. The fried ball and egg noddle was very nice. However the fried rice that we ordered was a bit spicy (maybe due to the pepper) even though we mentioned we wanted it non spicy as my 4 year old will be eating it. Also it took quite a while for them to cook the fried rice, we pretty much finished the noodle by the time it came out.

Absolutely one culinary destination that has been listed in my top A list when I come to Melbourne. This Indonesian restaurant will bring you to taste some authentic Indonesian cuisine that you may not find in another asian restaurant. Come and try their special menu of Batagor, Siomay and don't forget Nasi Goreng. And if you want more to fill your stomach, you can ask for upsized menu.

Awesome prices, delicious food. If you want some authentic and really tasty food don't pass this place up. Not much to look at, but friendly service and small very well done menu.

Ate lunch, food poisoning afterwards and I didnt hv breakfast that day. I called and informed, instead of take note and check on food condition, the owner was very defensive and said it is not possible to happen. Beware.

First visit tried their bakwan Malang and fried ball. It might be the best bakwan malang you can get! Definitely will comeback again for more.

Pretty good. Very cheap meals that are very authentic. Interior restaurant is a little dank. Best to opt for takeaway. Most "westerners" might find the flavors "a little too authentic" though.

Had the noodles soup with beef balls. The noddles were broken into smaller pieces. Not sure if that’s meant to happen? Not quite like it though with the texture. Enjoyed the beef balls. Never had the beef balls with different varieties such as fried and stuffing inside it. Will
be back.

YaMien Noodle and Fried Pork Ball (Bakso Babi Goreng) are delicious with a decent price. The table seating area place is about 3m x 5m, relatively small.

The disadvantage now comparing to previous owner is the Wonton soup (Pangsit kuah). Previously you can get 5 Wontons/Pangsit rebus in a bowl for $4 but now you will be charged $1.50 per Wonton so it will be $7.50 for 5 Wontons now. It's $3.50 more expensive. But it still deserves 4 stars because the food and taste.

Small, cheap, and bit dirty looking place, asked the waiter what they recommend, went with the order combination dish, he talked up the meatballs having quail egg inside, wife grabbed a laksa, both dishes were very salty and underwhelming, won't be going back there.

Good place to eat in, always go there for the fried meatball and also the flat noodles.the place quite clean and quick service, love how they refrigerated the tap water to keep it fresh.the service is average, not bad but not great, the staff not too elaborate and explain about the menu.

Very mediocre food. Everything is fried and they PRE frie nearly everything. The chick noodle i ordered tasted like ithe chicken was fried 3 days ago.
They served some plain noodles under that.
No recommended.

The meatball's soup is bland and the place is small to fit larger group. The service is very nice but sorry to say the food is just too bland. They serve some of indonesian drink such as Teh Kotak. The batagor is fine nothing amazing. For some reasons the forks and spoons are dirty

Really disapointing. Ordered combination soup but all it had was 3 shavings of very chewy pork, a few spinach leaves and one lump of what i assume was tofu. The rest was basically 2 minute noodles and oily water.

Cheap, tasty, generous serves. Never seem to give you cutlery of any sort for some reason. Seems like every time I've ordered soup they don't give you a spoon
