Medical One - Sunshine

I gave only one Star due to some of the receptionists are not really helpful for me and I believe they need to learn and practices how to improve the standards of their job and some of my payment will be in their wages.
I gave my GP’s services to more 5 stars.

Was very disappointed when this clinic started to charge fees to see a doctor even pensioners I will be changing doctors to someone that bulk bills also upset that a local doctor of there's who was my doctors for over 5 years was not told of her passing so what happens to us who were her patients

Didn't let me play valorant during my appointment They tried to do tests on me as if they were trained professionals.

I just wanted to let people know what a lovely Dr, Doctor Satma Karim is, she has helped me so much with my Serious health issues, always stuck up for me when it was needed, and helped me stop smoking. You were not just a Dr you were my friend, and l will never forget how much you helped me, thank you for the late night calls & checking up on me. Your kindness will never be forgotten. There should be more Drs like you. You will be greatly missed, and not forgotten.

I've been going to Medical One Sunshine for years. As if recently staff at reception have been extremely rude. I understand all the new medicare rules but they put it out to you like you owe them the money If you have any question about the payments. Just sad and horrible management. Not all staff but definitely few. It was like a safe place for us as a family having a daughter with autism but now don't think soo.

Friendly staff. The doctors have been fantastic. Not once have I had a doctor that has rush me through my appointment. If they need more time with you they get you to come back in a couple of days to go through everything thoroughly to make sure they haven't missed anything in a double appointment. A couple of times the doctor has even rang me to do further testing just to rule out other things. Or they have rang me before my next appointment if something has shown up in a test result and to be addressed before the next appointment. With everything I have been through in the last so many years they have been fantastic and very accommodating. I've been going there for over 10 year's now. One very happy patient

Would not be going back to these guys! Completely ridiculous that they have gone ‘private’ in the last year and now charge over $70 for a simple Tele-Heath that has never needed to be done in the past. They give you a heads up of if you’ve been there face to face 12 months prior it’s waived but how are you suppose to know? Will definitely not be coming back.

Dr Nivedita, I usually don't write reviews on anything however this time I have to stop and acknowledge your professionalism and prompt responses to my health issues. I cannot Thank you enough or be more greatful to you for treating me, you truly represent what a Dr should be like.

I come 45 minute early an just want to relax an wait.but as I hand Medicare card to reception I get a loud reaction.name please an you may have to pay an you early you will have to wait.very loud tone.not happy Jan.can they greet person with hi.how are you.nice day yes. I walk out an try again.

I would give 0 star if I could. I normally do not give out bad reviews lightly but this potentially could save someone's life. For background information I've been going to this clinic for years and our regular Dr was not available during this period. I called for an appointment to get a referral to the hospital (if I simply took my baby to the emergency they just send her home). My baby has a fever ave 37.9 Celcius for 6 days, constant running nose, only eating and drinking by half amount, both red eyes, dry cough etc and was told by the receptionist that Dr. Shanika Fernando (only doctor available at the time) only do phone consultations. I specifically told the receptionist that I just wanted the referral and asked "Can the Dr do that over the phone? " to which she replied "Yes! Absolutely". Turn out Dr. Shanika Fernando does not. That's not all. When Dr. Shanika Fernando called for the appointment, first thing I said is baby had a fever for 7days and to which she replies: "It's ok, I am going to prescribe antibiotics for your baby". I did not agree on this and she gave up that idea quickly but any Dr worth their salt would actually know that running nose, red eyes, cough, fevers etc most likely the result of a viral infection and antibiotics DO NOT WORK against viral infections! But that's not all! She refused to give out the referral over the phone and insisted on another appointment in person before she can do that, I told her I was sick (she could hear my coughs and raspy voice over the phone even asked if I did a RAT test for it) and it would be a tremendous task for me and baby to be there in person just to collect the referral but she did not care. We had no choice, when we got there she made us wait for 20mins in the un-roofed parking lot heat. When she finally came out, she took my baby's temperature out in the open after baby had her cough and pain reliever medication few hrs earlier and wrote down in the referral as 36.5 Celcius with no mention of the medications baby took. What's worse, she actually wrote on the referral that father insisted on the ED referral even though she believe no referral is actually needed! The gall of this doctor is astounding. It is for this reason that if you or anyone you care about let alone a young baby is in need of a good and caring doctor RUN away from this doctor as if your life depends on it! And this also speak volumes about any clinics that knowingly hires this doctor!

I do not recommend this clinic to anyone; Extremely rude receptions - high expectations especially Ms. Shayan - always thinks about money and every patient who enters this clinic they see that patient - I have more peace of mind since I changed my clinic - what a pity The star I gave them - do not waste your time and go to other clinics - I hope the government closes this clinic forever

I'm with dr anoop for more than 10 years.he is the best among many doctors I visited.i love to see him when my family or me get sick or need medical attention.but now I moved out bit away from this place but still I visit this place just because of dr anoop even though they stopt bulk billing.

The workers have difficulties making appointments, understanding english plus doctors are low quality

They get paid coz we come to them.hope they learn some customer service

Receptionists were all very attentive and lovely.
The nurse that gave my mum and I our booster shot was so quick and efficient.

Great receptionist very helpful and friendly doctors are on point and actually check u out thouraly befor diagnosing you which I love my go to doctor is Dr adrianna Rodriguez receive great care from her recently

Great family practice, but no toys in the waiting area for the kids which is a policy decision that predates covid. Doctors are generally great, but there is a high turnover due to medical one rotations

Took my mother and brother here for their Covid-19 vaccinations. Both my mum and brother were very pleased with the way they were treated and the reassurance and information given at the appointments. Booked in for the second vaccination here too. This is not their usual medical practice, however they were more than happy to accommodate my mum and brother. Highly recommended.

Dr Charan Koghar always provides excellent and professional service.
The reception / team and nurses are also doing a great job during this busy time.

Dr. Bruce Samuels is a wonderful doctor. I attended for all my antenatal appointments and he has been educational, supportive and extremely thorough with our care. He never rushes and yet always runs on time. I couldn't recommend him more to friends and family and look forward to having all our infant care with him.

Unfortunately as noted by others reception is a hit & miss, so we organise appointments online.
