Medical One - Greensborough reviews
47 Misleading information by receptionists made the entire visit a waste of time, was told by a receptionist that they could put my MRi disc onto file to give to the doctor and then was told on arrival that this isn’t possible.
Having torn my pec, time is crucial to receive surgery to prevent further damage and this has put me back further.
Have never been met with such hostility and rudeness from a supposed healthcare provider. Saturday morning receptionist was rude and dismissive, this clinic needs clearer policies and procedures and needs to communicate and listen to patients. Never again would I go here again.
I actually did a lot of calling around before started attending Medical One in Greensborough. I could not happier with my Doctor. To have my blood tests done by Anna down stairs. The Receptionists are very helpful, Treat you with respect.
Parking is excellent, close under cover.
I was a patient with Dr. G. Mikhaill and Dr. Massouh (who turns out only do bulk billing doctors). I am happy with the service of these 2 doctors especially with Dr. Massouh. Recently, I made an appointment through online as usual. My doctors were not available. So I tried to book with the different doctors. In the website where I book it says "private fee applies", so I was wondering the 2 doctors do bulk billing, maybe it is now changed. So I keep proceeding my booking, there is "doctor select" button, I klicked on it, there are list of doctors including my two doctors when each of doctors available and under each doctor there is a description if the particular doctor has private bill or no. So, I assumed the doctors who does not have any description do private billing because under my 2 doctors name there is saying "no private fee". Today, I came to the clinic and after I have seen the doctor, the receptionist asked to pay the full fee (medicare pay the $70sh & difference ~$30 have to pay from my pocket). I paid it, but the information on website was misleading me and other people as well. The misleading information should not be on the website. I assume the clinic follows the consumer affairs code. I suggest to add the description properly under each doctor who charge "private fee", or remove these description from all doctors and stick the first page where it says "applies private fee" applies. The receptionist with whom I talked this issue, she was laughing at me (so unprofessional.) and while I was waiting for the doctor, I also noticed that she was laughing at the other staff when she said "hi" and left the area. This kind of behaviour is not suitable/acceptable for the admin.staff especially who is dealing with the lots of people/patients. I booked covid booster vaccine for me and my family members at this clinic in March & Apr. I am hesitated to go in the next time to this clinic even the doctors are OK.
Discussing how I couldn’t book to see the doctor face to face to see my 5 week old child for an eye infection due to covid. Then the receptionist to tell us they do bulk bill when they don’t as we called again and was told something different. Ridiculous and waste of time wouldn’t be going to use they services again.
Dont waste your time going here! After going through an extremely traumatic experience and being promised by reception that a Dr I had seen would call me back- I didn't hear anything for hours til I called again and was told the Dr had called me- not true- I ended up in hospital needing emergency surgery with a condition that if I had "waited" longer for the Dr to call could have turned life threatening.
I even emailed their head office with my complaint weeks ago so as to not leave a bad review.but no one has even bothered to touch base or even apologise.
My advice.go to a Clinic that cares about its patients!
The staff are rude, they have no idea about customer service and they are highly discriminatory
Rude and unhelpful reception workers. Tried to tell them it was not normal to wait half an hour past the appointment time for a psychologist, I was told they had messaged him and to keep on waiting. Just spoke with the psych, he never got the message. Waste of an afternoon having to travel all the way out to Greensborough. A little respect goes a long way, unfortunately I went nowhere.
Absolutely awful. Wasted my time making me wait an hour past my appointment and then wanting to charge me for a Telehealth consultation after the fact!
Waiting for more than 40 mins for a regular appointment with GP. Also the receptionist were very rude and were fighting in front of other patients. Made the waiting room very tense and noisy.
Emily at reception is absolutely lovely and so helpful, every single time I walk in. The lady who does the bloods is so lovely and super quick. It was the first blood test that I had that someone did not have an issue finding my veins, was not painful in any way and I did not bruise at all. Both an asset to Medical One!
GP David Piekarski wouldn't see my baby to check his chest and ears only because the baby has a runny nose due to teething. And that's when we haven't had new COVID cases for a long time and rules are eased all the time. No one even asked us if we were in any COVID spots and other COVID checks questions. Apparently it's his individual rules which this GPs sets for himself and not the medical centre's rules, but I'm so disappointed that the med center is ok with that the one who gave the Hippocratic oath to help is rejecting you.
I have been a patient at Medical One since early 2019. Easy online booking. The GP (Dr Ismail), pathologist and reception staffs were all kind, pleasant and explained things well.
I have had such positive experiences at Medical One. The receptionists are very friendly and the doctors are kind and take their time. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!
Been there twice, for my wife (allergies) and for my son. Good service and competent doctor. Thanks Dr. Shahril Ismail for your kind help/advise.
I booked an appointment for my toddler son to see one particular doctor. 40 minutes before the scheduled appointment, the reception rang and asked questions about COVID symptoms. While I understand the current situation, that was unacceptable for the doctor to refuse to see my son for some mild cough without ANY other symptoms or given alternative options of what I should do. Eventually, they agreed for me to come. Upon checking in with reception and being given face mask for my son, I just realised the doctor we were gonna be seen was NOT the doctor I booked. And this doctor yelled at my from 4 meters away to put the mask on on my crying toddler. I was absolutely horrified to be treated this way; my son was beyond distressed and scared to have a stranger yelling so loud. Absolutely not professional and horrible service. Please go see someone else who genuinely cares about their patience.
Had my first experience at Medical One Greensborough today and I have to say it didn’t go as well as I’d hoped. I booked in advanced for a long consultation and after waiting for 15+ minutes past my appointment time despite the clinic being close to empty, I had my first interaction with Dr Wicky Wong. Less than 30 seconds into my appointment he announced that he didn’t have time to do what I had booked for as the booking had been set as a standard consult. No apology whatsoever, I reiterated that I had booked a long consultation and he kept saying that if we kept talking about the mix up there would be even less time to complete what I was asking (even though he was the only one talking). No bedside manner whatsoever, he ended up abruptly leaving the consult room only to return with the nice receptionist who he shifted the blame to. I do not recommend going to this clinic and I certainly do not recommend Dr Wicky Wong as it is clear he does not care for his patient. One star too many.
I've been a patient of Dr D. Piekarski for 36 years. When he crossed over to MEDICAL One, I eagerly followed. I've discovered that all doctors presently working there, nurses and frontline staff, are professionals, friendly and show empathy. "Carry on Doctor".
Great service at reception and the Dr was really good. I didn't have an appointment and the wait time was reasonable
Professional and friendly staff. First time there and was a knowledgeable and caring doctor. Very clean and inviting place.
