I shopped today at your Myer location and had the pleasure of being served by a lovely lass called Emily. Her service was polite, friendly and informative. Even with her mask on, l knew Emily was smiling and enjoying her job.
My friend and I shopped at Mecca in Myer (Melbourne cbd) and our experience was fabulous. I had a list of products I wanted guidance on and Kate assisted me with professionalism and patience. She went above and beyond as had to check on a few products and also gave excellent advice to me and my friend. We can't wait to book a make up tutorial with you guys.
My mum, Jill, had the most amazing makeup artist in her whole life: Gabby. Every aspect of the experience was joyful. Thank you, Gabby. Thank you, Mecca.

My friend and I went cosmetic shopping today because she just got a new job. We decided to go to Mecca (Myer) as they have wide variety of products to choose from and we know we can product test before buying. As we walked in, some staff who approached us to ask if we needed any help. However, we just wanted to have a browse on our own and so told them politely that it was fine with a smile. We found few products that we were interested in and tried it on ourselves just to see if it suits our skin. We didn't think much because those testers were for customers to try anyway. And so we walked to the make-up desk and I put on make up for my friend (because she didn't really know how).
To our surprise, one of the staff walked up to us and raised her voice, still smiling though, and said "Oh hi ladies, I guess you don't really need any help right here. Look at me! (my friend turned to her) Oh wow! Having fun playing on your own? Nice! " My friend, unaware to her sarcasm, laughed and just said, "yeah". I was so taken back but was trying to positive, thinking that she was just trying to be friendly. Put off by her word, I tried to let it pass and helped my friend choose the products instead.
After 10 minutes, she was ready to pay for what she wanted (too-faced palette and stila eyeliner) so we walked up to the counter. Unfortunately, it was the same lady who had the interaction with us. I just walked away and observed from a distance as my friend paid for her goods. The lady served her really in a very rough manner (it was as if she was tossing the cosmetics to my friend as she passed it her) and was rushing my friend out. She did not even look at her when serving, no smile, no greetings.
It was a really bad customer experience. I heard a lot about Mecca poor service but never really experienced it myself until today. From someone who used to work hospitality and retail, it was so disgusting to receive such poor customer service.
Today I received exceptional customer service from Riley at MECCA Myer! I observed how friendly, caring and bubbly he was when he served me and other customers in the line. I truly appreciate this kind of customer service:)
I was disappointed by the service I received today in store. I found myself leaving feeling upset and embarrassed. I was interested in purchasing gift for my husband. When I was being served I was given the wrong item. After all of that I have to refund money and pay it again. I feel a bit difficult and different after refund money. Staff who been serve me totally change. She is the most rude attitude and felt belittled and embarrassed as I felt like I was being judged. Overall I will never be returning to this store which is hard for me to say because I used to love Mecca.

I am khushi, Last Saturday I went to the Mecca (Myer) Bourke st mall CBD, Melbourne.
I had to buy a gift for my friend and I was looking something $50. Everyone approached me working there one by one but no one can helped me out, female staff listened to me but they send me to next Mecca opposite to lifts,
I went there, everyone greet me but again they send me to the store at front, I had really no time but I had to buy the stuff, then JOEl jumped in and asked me for assistance, I explained him in simple words and in no time he solved my problem and convinced me immediately
He is such a good personality, he was so humbled and polite and was listening to me very
Patiently. I really appreciate Joel for his excellent customer service

I came into Mecca Myer on Bourke Street last week and was served by a lovely skin care specialist Lauri who helped me find a new routine. I have very sensitive skin and always struggle finding products that work for me. One week in and I am loving everything that she recommended to me. She was very knowledgeable in her field and made me feel very welcomed and comfortable in store. I can’t wait to visit again.
I haven’t had one good experience there. I decided to leave this review in the hope one day they realise how terrible their customer service is.and maybe actually get better instead of investing time in fake reviews. You can clearly see how basic and repetitive are the positive reviews. I will never ever spent a cent in this shop again. I can buy the same makeup in other places where they’re well trained professionals who understands what’s an actual customer service.
I was fit in very last minute for my birthday celebrations this weekend due to having my makeup cancelled else where two days out. Every single person in this store delivered incredible customer service; everyone knew it was my birthday thanks to Kaitlyn who booked me in and i was greeted with many positive birthday wishes. I am so happy with my makeup by Roisin and I cannot wait to celebrate my birthday looking super fabulous! Thank you to every single person who made this happen at Mecca Myer!

Is there a reason why nobody answers the phone at this store?
I do realise it’s Christmas time, however I tried yesterday 10 times (no exaggeration), and three today.and still no response.
I wanted to confirm a product was in stock before making my way into the city, from a fair distance away.
Mecca: please inform your loyal customers if the phone service is no longer an option at this store.
I’m otherwise a huge fan.
Anisa is the best worker ever! She works at Mecca cosmetica and is such a beautiful soul. She had so much knowledge on products and was really good at applying it on me! (I usually hate makeup). She deserves so much praise. Was the main worker that stood out of what seems like hundreds in Myer
Mecca Bourke Street is the prime example of why retail in Australia is on its last breath of air. May as well hammer the nail in that coffin and shut your stores. I'd would much rather buy online, or from other stores than face the seemingly untrained staff and horrible customer service from Mecca. Retail assistants love offering cursory greetings and attempts of helping customers, but when faced with an actual task, their superficial friendliness fall flat and they prefer hand-balling the task to someone else or another store even. What's the point of having 20 staff members on the floor greeting you every ten seconds, when none of them can actually do their job.
Huge shout-out to the lovely staff member who listened to my fragrance preferences and made thoughtful recommendations; astounding body of knowkedge and really lovely too!:)
