Mecca Cosmetica Toorak Road

Definitely a regular in this store and just want to say that I have never had an issue with the employees until today. While I was waiting to select a lipstick (knew the exact one I wanted) I grew impatient and went to select it myself to which a member of staff came zooming out the back to scold me. Reaching in front of my body (way too close for comfort) to shut the drawer I had just opened and tell me off. I totally get that it’s inconvenient for the employees to have the customer do this but the way she approached the situation and her tone was so appalling and demeaning. Actually left me feeling really awkward and embarrassed and had to leave quickly when I had the intention of buying a few Christmas gifts.

Salesgirl was most pleasant & helpful-supported product sampled @ Mecca Melbourne Central, but O. O. S. @ visit. Really happy with purchase of Kosas Eyebrow Pencil.

Had a makeup lesson, which was good, asked for an estimate on all the products I was considering getting, I was told it would be $400, at the cashier ended up paying $800. Was quite a shock.

Edward who works in the fragrance section has an incredibly unique talent when it comes to finding a the perfect scent. He was patient and took his time to make sure we got the right one. Magnificent human being!

Jess is absolutely amazing! My partner and I were looking for wedding perfumes and she helped us out, she was so passionate, insightful and extremely helpful. We initially went in just to browse for potential ideas but Jess really sold us on her recommendations:) Best service I have had at mecca thus far

I had a make-up lesson with Annie yesterday. She's knowledgeable and professional. She made the whole process easy for me by explaining most of the products' use while doing my make-up at the same time. She's even written down a whole page of the products' names and brands as well as the steps of the process, that was really helpful so I can refer to it at home for practice. She helped me choosing the items to redeem the price for the lesson at the end, which is what I needed too. I'm glad that I've taken this lesson with Toorak Mecca, thanks Annie!

I’ve never worn make-up before but woke up this morning with an enormous pimple, on the day of the job interview of my life.
Jeremy at this store gave me first-class, friendly service, explained to me exactly what I needed, tried it out on me, and saved my interview within 2 minutes. Thanks for your help, Jeremy.

I love this Mecca store. Friendly and very helpful staff and the store has a great selection of brands.

Love the store, but each time I go in and buy something, I’m given the wrong product to take home. Lack of attention to detail/stock cataloguing issues must be causing them to pick & pack wrong products so often. Potentially Mecca could just make the store like Sephora - where customers can pick and pack themselves. It’s not rocket science and it’s wild that mistakes happen so often.
If staff later, remember that they’ve packed the wrong product, the least I could do is give me a call before I discover the incorrect product on a trip.

Great products and relaxed shopping experience. The staff range in age, which I like, and they're always helpful.

Rachel helped pick out products that were good and natural for my sensitive skin. I have both eczema and acne which makes shopping for the right makeup extremely difficult. Rachel was very knowledgeable and friendly, tested a few products and found the right foundation tone for me. The oil she recommended has also helped calm my skin. Love the service!

The staff at Mecca on Toorak road are always so lovely and helpful! I’ve never taken anything back into a beauty product store (didn’t think it was an option to be honest), but after reading about Meccas policy and hearing from some others I decided to take in a new product that wasn’t working for me. I went in with no expectations of a swap on the product, just thought I’d ask. The staff member who helped me was so understanding and swapped the product without hesitation to the product I was meaning to purchase initially, so kind! Thank you Mecca
