Always a delicious experience. The Kobe rump was fantastic and perfectly seasoned. I prefer the regular Mac and cheese over the lobster one even though I love lobster.

Amazing quality of meat. The eye fillet is so tender (so far this is the best steak I have had) and our all time favourite. Lobster Mac and cheese, oh my! It's delicious and such big portion. The waiters are all amazing and super friendly. Always a good choice and never disappointed.

First of all, the food was fantastic. Loved every bit of it. Staff were absolutely supportive, friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes. Environment is romantic and inviting to dine with nice table arrangements and dim lights. Location was awesome as if you are dining in an old wine cellar.

Worst customer service and experience I’ve had got given absolute garbage and the staff laughed at me would never come here again

I normally feel underwhelmed by steaks at pubs and restaurants (I bbq a mean steak at home and have my technique down). Damn, their steak was awesome. Great service and sides too.highly recommend a visit for all you carnivores out there.

You walk down a metal stairwell, not knowing what to expect.
Then all of a sudden your in this cool happening restaurant, with some of the most amazing mouth watering choices of meat.

Such a wonderful experience. The food was perfect, especially the brisket, it fell apart. The service was very good, the Brazilian waitress was a lovely. Super cozy environment! I will definitely recommend this place and we will come back soon!

Superb steaks, briskets that melt in your mouth. Sides were meh, especially fries.
Only downside is the atmosphere. It's too loud. Music starts loud then people shout to talk over it, and finally music is shut but people are still shouting.

I've been here before and it's always been really good, except for last time. The pig head appetiser tasted like cheeseballs, the brisket could have been more tender, and worst of all the 800 gram ribeye, ordered medium rare, was charred on the ends and still blue rare in the middle. It wasn't salted as well as usual either. We think it may have been too cold before it was cooked. Mushroom sauce was stringy (shallots?) too. This was right after lockdown ended so maybe it was that? And even there the restaurant was half full but all of us were seated in the middle of the restaurant instead of space out. Why?

We went to Meat Maiden on 24th April for our Saturday Date Night and these are what we ordered:

Grilled Octopus, Charred Lime & Potato Aioli - SO FREAKING GOOD! Packed full with the umami flavor with a bit of kick to it. Great texture for the octopus.

Stuffed Chicken Wings, Togarashi, Spiced Tomato - Don’t let the simplicity fool you, this dish is full of Japanese-inspired flavor! We didn’t get how the wings looked like real wings as the top part didn’t have a bone at all

? Dry-Aged Rib Eye - We went for the 800g to share between both of us with mushroom sauce on top. The steak was perfectly cooked and tasty, however we felt that it needed something more to make it taste “wow” if you get me? For $120 it’s a bit underwhelming.

? Lobster Mac & Cheese, Shellfish Bisque - If it weren’t for this dish, we couldn’t get through the steak easily! These two combined was like a match made in (seafood) heaven They were generous with the lobster pieces inside the mac & cheese too.

Interestingly, the place was a bit too crowded for a vibe that they’re going with. My bf said it was confusing on how everything looked so nice and fancy yet the vibe was more like a pub with the noisiness of the place

Overall, it was a great experience with tasty food, friendly staff and interesting vibe.

Fun atmosphere, attentive staff, Drinks were good, strip loin was a little tough and chewy, good peppercorn sauce, need a mash potato options as a steakhouse, prawn toast was well made, oysters fresh but no mignonette option, get a coffee machine pleasesmall finishing touches to take it to the next level but all in all a good experience:)

The entrees were great especially the scallops and smoked pork belly and miso pumpkin was absolutely delicious.

Was slightly disappointed in the steak considering the price, asked for medium rare but came out more well done probably from the steak sitting around too long after and continuing to cook.

The venue is amazing and great atmosphere but the service was really bad and disappointing as I was really looking forward and booked far in advance for a birthday. Had to ask several times for our drinks and then after waiting so long realising they forgot our drinks order entirely. Had to ask a few times to different staff members just for water as well, then found the female waitresses fairly rude. Man at door was polite.

This is a MUST try restaurant if you are a steak lover, and my #1 pick in Melbourne. First impressions were amazing with a basement setting, neon lights and moody dark lighting. Service is impeccable and personable. The steaks were so perfectly cooked and full of flavour, as was every single dish we ordered. I dream about that cookie. Get everything!

All was great until the manager smashed two glasses over our table spilling drinks all over my wife and broken glass all over our table. Sure accidents happen but after spending over 200 dollars all that was offered was a $15 discount. Drinks were not replaced and we left quite appalled. This was a treat for my wife and I and we rarely eat at establishments like this. It wasn't the accident we are upset with it was how it was handled after. Very disappointed.

Great service but food was average for me. We have order 3 starter and 2 main. The scallop eggplant skewer was good, following the burnt end was good but very strong favour, for me was a bit too salty. Brisket was great too but the one that I was looking forward all night, We have ordered a a7 WAGYU steak, i was quite disappointed on it as it’s $80 steak but the taste and quality I think it was just average, not really happy about that.

The seating is a bit too tight between table, hardly can walk pass and very noisy environment. Don’t think I’ll come back again tho.

Fantastic food, I’ve been to most smokehouses and their brisket is hands down the best. The set menu is the way to go, lots of food and you get to try everything. Pork head croquettes were also a standout along with there cocktails. Highly recommend and would come back.

The food is sensational and the service and staff are awesome. Clearly the owners love what they do and so do we, highly recommend this place!

Call great flavours and interesting menu. Really nice wines and I find assortment of cocktails too!

My partner and I came in for an early dinner and opted for the Maiden's Mood option - really nice variety of dishes from the menu. The meat was delicious and really well cooked and the Mac & cheese was excellent! The cocktails were fantastic and the staff were really lovely and accommodating. The restaurant filled up quickly (not surprising for a Saturday night) so would recommend booking!

My group went to Meatmaiden for my birthday last week, we absolutely loved it! The food was incredible, the service was warm and friendly, great cocktails and wine. 100% will be back soon.
