McDonald’s Bourke St West VIC reviews
55FALSE AND MISLEADING ADVERTISING - Not open 24/7 and should be shut down for vermin in the lobby. Management and staff rude and unhelpful. Enjoy the ACCC complaint.
Update: visited on Sunday off-peak, waited for my chicken patty but nothing was missing or wrong this time
Original review:
Extremely busy with relatively long waits. I also often receive the wrong food or am missing items from my order - more frequently than at other MacDonald stores though this may be due to the higher volume
I work around the corner, I come here for snack all the time with my colleagues, it's perfect place to fill my hunger
Disgusting, the self serve screen's don't work, outside of store was putrid and had a homeless person begging that interrupted my cigarette.
Consistent slow service. No communication between kitchen and FOH. 10 minutes for a Big Mac, are we still calling McDonalds “fast food”? Save the headache and order yourself a pizza from A25, will take just as long and taste 10x better.
Maccas right in the heart of Melbourne CBD so very convenient if you decided to stay late in the city.
Filthy doors and filthy door handles. Not a clean place. But then again, McDonald's stores are never clean.
They do well keeping up with the city demand which at times is an avalanche of orders, haven't had many issues other than salt from the chips, if anything that's been an easy fix and they always fix that issue
The actual food from this place is good. Tends to be crowded a lot and I’ve never personally been inside. The soft serves are great but a bit too expensive for the amount you get. But Please go to an actual restaurant if you came to the Melbourne CBD. There’s so many restaurants around here so if you’ve got cash and want a quick snack it’s ok to visit.
Got a large Spicy Crispy Chicken- Large meal- take away 3mins from home- The burger itself was not spicy at all- Fries were not fresh- Even the coke wasn't full of bubbles, almost flat. Not Worth $13.15
You want to wait go there and wait. Only one staff is working and she takes hours to give. So called as the fastest restaurant.
Pretty poor service. Waited 10+ mins along with others for drinks as ordered. New staff, poor management and when staff asked each what drinks they wee waiting on she said sorry I don't know.
Receipt was rolled up as left on bench and I walked away.
When I went there it wasn't busy at all. They didn't even took their time to build the burger properly.
The staff in grey uniform was cheating on my payment when I was there today at 1: 30 pm 11/OCT/2019! I purchased a $3 big mac but pay for $6. The staff was doing my payment with a cashier after that I showed him the promo code at my phone.very disappointed with this
Ok service, managers seriously need to push the kitchen staff a bit hard though as there was no meals on order and I waited nearly 10 minutes for my food.
Food was nice and hot, assembled well so it's worth the wait
One thing that really annoyed me is that one of the Maccas staff asked me and my friends and people around eating there food to get up and move just so she can clean the tables. My opinion. Very disrespectful.
Maybe the best Mcdonalds in the area.possibly. Came here today and got a crispy Cesar Wrap with chips and a bottle of water. Cashier was friendly enough then had to wait maybe 5min for the food which was called out quickly. Food was really tasty too like the chicken had just come out the fryer which was nice. Place was also fairly clean and seemed to be well looked after unlike others in the area *COUGH swanston street COUGH*
One of the more decent sized maccas in central CBD. Slightly more expensive for some reason but plenty of tables. Can read a book or use your phone/tablet comfortably when you've finished your meal.
I would highly recommend "McDonald’s Bourke St West VIC" to anyone who loves to eat Cheeseburgers. I enjoyed best Cheeseburger last week. They make the best Burgers! Awesome and fast service, extremely friendly and professional staff!
One of the biggest McDonald outlet in the city. Might get very busy during lunch time on weekdays, but 10 mins wait for lunch is reasonable. Love the spot.
This Macca's is never busy and it's always fast to get food from here. I don't visit it often because it has a weird feel. Even though it's in the middle of town it's away from the main shops and feels more like it's in a run down area. I don't know exactly what it is, and I usually prefer to put things into real terms, but even though there's nothing wrong with the service or food, this Macca's just has a bad vibe to me.
