McDonald's Berwick South

Not a bad McDonald's but nothing special either, getting the correct order can often be a task in its self but you can't expect much when kids are preparing your food.

Sat in queue for ages, to get to order what I wanted. Sat in queue again waiting to pay, got to pay window to get told machine was not working. So by this stage I was sitting in drive thru for for approx 25 minutes. Not happy by now I was then held in the queue for another 15 min by people waiting to collect their orders. So total time was around 35 mins to go home with nothing. Can't blame staff when asked the young lady at the collection windows she informed me that machine was closed for cleaning. Cmon Maccas, on a Saturday night around 8.30pm you have missed the ball. Staff rating 8

Waited 20mins for a wrap, could hear staff messing around out the back, no staff at front of sales, messed up other family orders, so not impressed, need to shake things up.

This must be the worst McDonald’s.
Waited in line for 7 minutes. Nobody to serve me, then when I asked for apple pies, they were out of stock.

Horrible! I know that after 10pm onwards staff are limited as I used to work at a maccas store but this was ridiculous. Spent about 10 to 15 mins waiting to get to a speaker then another 10 mins waiting to get to 1st window and another freaking 10mins waiting for our food. Ended up being refunded our apple pies otherwise it would've been an extra 5minute wait! So spent almost 30mins in a drive thru at 2am. Not impressed. They had more staff than my store had at this time of night yet the store I worked at did a better job with much worse situations during the overnight shift. Not impressed.

Sat in drive thru bay for 15mins waiting for 3 coffees and a ice coffee, already had been given a quarter pounded meal. Had to call to find out where my drinks were? Staff member had gone on break, and didn't finish my order!

Never been happy with our orders here, will avoid and go elsewhere from now on. Last order they missed a patty on BOTH my partner and my double burgers and the coffee tasted horrible.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Disgusting service at this McDonald’s. I bought 2 burger meals and was told to wait in the waiting bay. After 10 minutes they brought the food out and it was ice cold. I took it back and asked for a refund as I could not wait any longer. The customer service girls all started going through the bag of food, laughing about us and calling us names. I’ve never experienced such a thing at McDonald’s before. This is completely unacceptable and disgusting behaviour. Judging by the other reviews this kind of thing happens a lot there. I’m not sure why they are even still open, let alone why these horrible people work there. Get your act together.

Because we couldn't drive to their restaurant, we ordered from them 2 large Classic Angus meals through Uber Eat today, 02/09, and received 2 drinks, 2 chips and ONE burger. Called to complain and ask them shipping back the missing burger. They ask us to come to pick up eventhough we explained that we could not come. Very irresponsible.

I cannot count how many times my order has been wrong. I’d really love to be able to drive away from the store and be confident that what has been placed in the brown bag is exactly what I ordered! Alas it rarely happens!

Terrible service, every single time we have ordered uber eats most of our order has been forgotten, or they don't pay attention to special instruments! So very disappointing!

Everytime i come here i end up getting sent to the waiting bay in the drive through and end up waiting about 30 minutes for my food. Never again

They sometimes forget part of your order. In fact, there was once I waited and waited and they forgot my entire order! (I think they gave it to another customer instead). Nowadays I prefer to attend another branch nearby.

Was made to wait a good 10-15 minutes in the drive thru then when I was finally served the staff member was not apologetic for the time it took for them to take my order nor was my order made fresh, you would think in the time I was made to wait I would have at least received food that was cooked fresh. Wont be rushing back to this McDonald's any time soon.

At the drive thru. Asked the girl about the price of 2 Apple pies.after an original order of 24 nuggets and large chips.she told me that it's will cost me an extra$4.00.which i duly paid.and told me to proceed to the pickup area.got my nuggets and large chips.but no pies.i didn't want to have an argument over$4.00.that's will be my last visit. Very rude staff at the window.it's happened. 03/09/21 at 1.30pm

Friendly staff. All mcdonald's seem to never give napkins or have them available.
Looks like my order was thrown over to the front counter. Chips were everywhere in the bag as well.

Like most McDonald's has the same food and layout. The staff are friendly but carpark can be a little chaotic with traffic at times.

The last 4-5 Uber eats orders and the last few drive through orders, Items are always missing or special instructions are not followed. It is extremely frustrating that it happens to us every order.

In 2 weeks Ive had a 3/4 filled coke and a flat coke. Also the staff here seem to have trouble understanding whos turn it is in the drive through. Again 2 visits in the last 2 weeks, Ive been skipped in the drive through. When I brought this to the attention of the store manager, Lauchlan, he repeatedly spoke of the top of me and told me they've had someone call in sick. What has that got to do with being skipped in the drive through? Pick up your act, there's plenty of other take-away options around here.

Never order from here late at night as the food is always stale and cold. The more late in the night, the worse the food gets. The fries and hamburgers are revolting any time from around 11pm onwards.

The staff are usually polite and professional. They occasionally get the orders wrong but have recently introduced a screen at the pay window. The food is usually acceptable during normal business hours but occasionally disgusting and inedible. The coca cola is far too often tasteless soda water.

The area around the restaurant is sometimes dirty as they do very little external cleaning, but the inside of the restaurant is usually fairly clean. If you look up at the roof above the drive in to the right lane, it is always covered in mud. Sometimes food wrappers left in the car park but usually kept clean. In general however McDonald's still has pretty good hygiene standards and this one is no exception.

I instead suggest the McDonalds closer to the Berwick shops on the same road. Even better, the Pakenham one.
