We have been there during the day and on a Friday night for karaoke night, lots of fun!

Awesome vibe in front bar, great variety of whiskeys and beers. Food was amazing. Husband hasn't stopped raving about the seafood chowder.says it's the best he's ever had. Chicken parmy with Irish curry sauce was super Huge and very delicious. Was very crowded but really cosy and intimate at the same time. There was wheelchair access but it would be a tight squeeze. The staff were super happy and attentive. A great night out.not somewhere you'd take kids tho.

Absolutely superb lunch! McDaids ticked all the boxes from the moment we walked in the door.the ambience, the service and the amazing lunch menu. Couldn't be more impressed. Well done Mcdaids ️️️️️

Cosy pub with yummy food and very generous portions. Highly recommend for dinner if you’re around late from the Hotsprings. Kitchen still open at 8: 30pm and vegetarian options available.

Don't judge a book by its cover. Not much appeal on the outside when its cold and overcast. But myself & my whole family of 15 loved the warm and cosy atmosphere inside & the food was fantastic (except seafood pasta - plain Jane)

If you’re looking forward to a thin salty gruel with fatty bits of lamb & uncooked potatoes floating in it then this is the place for you! There’s even a rock hard scone or muffin or whatever - you’ll need to pull it apart & soak it in this unappealing mush to make it palatable. The beer though is cold as was the dining room when it was barely 8 degrees outside - but hey its Irish - right? Enjoy you philistines you. & don’t forget to order at the bar where you’ll see that had you ordered the Parma your beer would have been included if you can read the fine print.

What's not to love! Great food, amazing staff and the craic to match it.

Decent pubs meals, we got the Calamari for entree, for mains a Parma and the Guinness Pie!

Everything was pretty tasty nice winter dishes and a warm environment.

All these people who gave 1 star to McDaids must be delusional cause everyone who I’ve spoken to gave nothing but high praise for the Staff food and Drinks all the staff should be congratulated for all their hard work and smiles

Really nice authentic Irish pub experience with friendly staff, great food and awesome atmosphere. Seafood Chowder was really good, one of the best I've had.

All you would want from an Irish pub.
You must try the Irish pama (curry pama) and wash it down with a pint of Kilkenny or two.

Took the family for a birthday dinner. I rate the Lamb Shanks highly, meals were all good and huge. Great atmosphere with live music and $10 Guinness pints, what's not to love?

Spent a great evening with friends and the food was lovely. Fresh veggies and nice cuts of meat. Live band puts on tap your feet music and the staff happy and quick to help you. Owner Caroline makes you feel like you've been a local for years. Cant fault them.

Delicious food and wonderful, friendly service. Dog friendly outside area. We'll definitely return.
