Well.in my experience. 2 Michelin Stars are an experience to look forward to each time you visit a restaurant with such credentials.

The must have mistaken the 2 Hats.with “construction hard hats.because that’s the type of service you will get.

Am embarrassment to the AGFG Chef Hat Awards.

The staff are fit.for MacDonalds. Food the same.

The usual positive experience of dining at Matteo's was ruined on my last visit by an obstructive, aggressive, rude and uncooperative waitstaff doorman. For a second and probably last time I found that the Victorian Government's required Covid check-in procedures remain an obvious problem for at least one unhelpful member of Matteo's staff.

Food is amazing! Ambiance is good! However our server was not accommodating. It would have been nice if she was more nicer: ( (we never made any blunt requests or anything lol) but over all good food!

Lovely evening. Food delicious and wait staff were just right with their attentiveness. Didn't rush.

Tonight's food at Matteo's was disappointing the lobster was tough, the cheese souffle was like a pancake and rest of the meal was very ordinary except for dessert, it is the first time I have had a not so good meal there.

Nice food and awesome atmosphere. Good vegan selection and fantastic flavours.

Slightly disappointed that on the booking I mentioned it was my wife's birthday and asked for something special.unfortunately the staff didn't even acknowledge the day.it would have taken nothing to simply wish her a happy birthday.

A truly outstanding dining experience! The staff are amazing, and really make you feel at home. The food was all beautifully cooked, rich and tasty. I had the sirloin, but even simple things like the broccolini side was very good. Great experience.

The tasting menu is such a luxury. The vegetarian and vegan menus are not an afterthought; they are just as special and carefully selected as the non-veg option. Great wine pairing with knowledgeable staff. Save room for the dessert!

Great food and ambience but the star of show was the service! More specifically Loui who was absolutely wonderful. He is knowledgeable with his wine and really cared about our experience.

Absolutely delicious food, with solid vegetarian tasting menu. Haven't had a single dish from here that wasn't top-notch.

Once again service and food at its best, the photos speak for themselves. This place is a must to see the staff who are knowledgeable wether it be the food or the wine and the quality of food at its best

Went with my husband last night for my birthday dinner. We both had the 5 course tasting menu. Into the 3rd course, both of us started to have an upset stomach and had to go to the toilet 2- 3 times each thruout the dinner. We suspected that it was something we ate in the first course that was wrong (because the only same dish we had was the first course. We did not have any same meal earlier on in the day). We couldnt enjoy the rest of our meal and was unable to eat much further as we were purging (and my husband was vomitting). Also, because I was away in the toilet for long, the waiter took away my drink (G&T) in my absences when I wasnt even done with it. I later told the waiter about it and he said he would replace it for me, but he never did. Thumbs down for service because of that.
Food wise- presentation was good, creations were lovely. I cant comment much about the taste as we were too much in pain that we could barely eat nor enjoy the food.
Paid about $300 for the meal but was suffering more than enjoying

The food was amazing! The portions were just right and I never felt overfull and was able to enjoy everybit of it. Get the tasting menu, you won't regret it!

First meal since post covid19 ease on dining restrictions. Had the Sunday lunch set menu which was fantastic and great value for money.many tasty dishes and a very nice variety of food choices. Service from Tim our waiter was exceptional and his food and wine knowledge made selections easy. A very pleasant dining experience in a lovely non pretentious beautiful restaurant. Will be coming back for sure.would highly recommend

Wonderful ambience, creative and beautifully presented food, amazing wine list - true restaurant quality.

Went there for a special occasion dinner. Good atnosphere, reasonably priced menu.
Service was a little slow. Didnt like the eggplant dish. Pork belly was a bit cold. Veal and the toothfish were awsome. Happy with our experience however it didnt have the wow factor
