Had an awesome Sunday lunch (set menu) for my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary after coming here for a wedding Reception a few months ago.
Highly recommend!

We recently visited this adorable little winery tucked away in the serene beauty of Yarra Valley, Victoria, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise.

This place has everything you could ask for in a winery - from an inviting atmosphere to an impressive selection of wines and delicious food that pairs perfectly.the Picturesque views create a truly magical ambiance. It's the kind of place that instantly transports you to a world of tranquility, far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

They offer a wide variety of wines that cater to all tastes and preferences.
It's the perfect place to unwind, soak in the beauty, the sun and enjoy a glass of wine with good company.

This hidden gem is a must-visit for wine enthusiasts and anyone in search of a memorable escape.

Most enjoyable evening, the layout was great, lots of room at the table and not a loud venue.
The staff are efficient, friendly and invisible turning up at the most opportune and important times.
Have to go back as we share our patronage with our local restaurants and cafes.

Lovely lunch with a great city view.no official wine tasting, but the staff did offer to allow us to taste the wine offerings at no charge.
We had the zucchini flowers, calamari & the roasted potatoes. All were cooked well, The calamari did have something that attributed some spice to the dish, which was for me but not for my companion.still a lovely visit, which we finished with a wine outside enjoying the sun and the view.

Beautiful location inside and outside. Food delicious! Staff friendly. Only deducting a star because we were constantly asked by different wait staff about getting dessert, just felt a bit pushy but other than that, wonderful place! Will be back and will recommend

Have always enjoyed Massaros but was disappointed with the overpriced semi set menu of $59. Definitely not value for money.

Eagerly anticipating my
reservation after several cancellations due to lockdowns. Finally made it to Massaros. Entered the front door found my way to the table chatted with my guests happy to be out for a lovely meal with friends. Our wait staff arrived and that is when the excitement ended and the disdain began. From the time I entered the glare of the kitchen staff and floor staff gave that very unwelcoming feel. Yes I've spent much of my time serving customers so I am familiar with this body language and outward display of hostility. Once seated the unenthused staff member approached the table and glared until we ordered off the menu as quickly as we could in fear that the kitchen would close and that would be the end of our dining experience. Once ordered our drinks were dropped off and then the food arrived promptly I might add. Well that was pretty much the last time we saw anyone on the floor. Once our meal was finished we chatted for a bit then decided to have some more drinks. The table had not been cleared and the floor staff milled around doing what the needed to do in the restaurant. At no time was the table cleared or were we asked if we would like anything else. One of our guest approached one of the staff members for some additional beverages. This was met with apprehension. Finally we were 'allowed' one more drink. Call me crazy and perhaps old fashioned but if there was a timeslot for service then by providing service you can then guide your guests appropriately by asking the right questions at the right time clearing the table and advising guests that before service ceases "Can I get you anything else before we finalise the bill? ". Boom the power of words. I'm not interested in returning and no doubt the proprietor could care less about this review I guess I'm simply trying to highlight the importance of good customer service as you have the benefit of your lovely surroundings, food tasty enough but my customer experience was very poor.

Went for an afternoon lunch. Really enjoyed the food, great quality and well cooked with a good range too. The calamari was fab one of my faves and the pizza were yum. Beautiful wine too with a great view of the valley and the city.

Amazing food and delicious beverage optioms. Usually Quick and friendly service. Views to die for. Close to our place. What more can you ask for!

We LOVE Massaros! Vanessa and the team are amazing and we always come back regularly! Can never get enough of this place! From the wine to the food to the stunning views its the best choice for a Sunday summer lunch catch-up or a beautiful romantic yummy dinner during winter! Keep up the great work guys ️️️

We had dinner at Massaros after driving past so many times. The view is spectacular & the food was amazing. Unfortunately we couldn’t have the nutella calzone as the oven was broken but it just means we’l have to return!

Had a function here over the weekend - the food and drinks were delicious and atmosphere absolutely lovely. Vanessa and team were calm and professional, no request an issue. My guest kept telling me how much they enjoyed themselves and I am sure we'll be returning regularly.

I had my 30th birthday in the vine room at Massaros and it was exceptional. The food was delicious, all staff were super helpful and friendly while the venue in itself is stunning! Guests were raving about Massaros and it’s staff, we will definitely be back!

We had my mum‘s 70th birthday in the private function room at Massaros last Sunday, and the day was absolutely perfect!
Vanessa was so wonderful to deal with, not only on the day but in the lead up to the event as well …. Always getting back to me promptly with (the many) questions I asked along the way and nothing was too hard. The food was absolutely incredible and there was so much of it! It’s great they offer a few different options for group functions and the variety was fantastic. It was a grazing/sharing platter type setup which is the best way to eat. They also have a fabulous wine selection that is not too overcomplicated, but has something for everyone who enjoys a vino or 5!
The venue is just stunning and we were so lucky to get the most beautiful Sunny winter day, the views are breathtaking.
If you are looking for a venue to have an intimate private function (seats up to 40 I think) I would highly recommend Massaros, we will be back soon!

We have driven past Massaros many times without stopping in - I am so glad we finally did. Even on a misty night, the view of the city is stunning. Sitting in the warm dining room it is hard not to feel like you’ve discovered a new favourite destination.

Massaros managed to balance professional service with feeling like you’ve stopped in to visit friends. The food is delicious with is a great variety of classics on the menu. The antipasto platter is a must as is the Frutti di Mare. After enjoying a pairing with the tasty, local Massaros wines it was wonderful to find an Uber was only 13 minutes away. We are looking forward to going back soon!

Had my daughter's Bridal Shower lunch and couldn't be happier with the quality and quantity of food. Great pizza and antipasti and more than enough. Event ran smoothly and Vanessa was wonderful in ensuring all went well. Beautiful location and lovely ambience. Thank you.

If I could give zero stars I would. Vanessa the manager is the rudest staff member I have EVER come across at a restaurant. We went for my birthday dinner tonight and I left eating no food and nearly in tears by how rude and unapologetic Vanessa was when I raised the issue with the service. Our starters were all supposed to come out together, as normal. They did not. 15 minutes after our first starter had come out and they had finished their starters I was still waiting for mine, I ended up cancelling it as I didn’t want my starter then main right after the other and I didn’t want to eat on my own. THEN two of our mains come out while ANOTHER 15 minutes had gone by and our other 2 mains had not come out. When I asked what was going on I was told that the menu clearly states pizzas will come out at any time and not with the other mains rudely. My sister waited 25 minutes for a drink that never ended up coming. I ended up cancelling my pizza after 20 minutes had gone by since the first mains came and still none of my food had come. Vanessa was so rude, offered no apology, her behaviour was disgusting. I ended up leaving eating no food and very upset on my birthday. So thanks Massaro’s & Vanessa for being such a rude horrible human being. Vanessa will run Massaro’s into the ground and I will NEVER return as long as she is there which is such a shame because the venue is beautiful.
