Masala Valley Indian Restaurant reviews
75 Great restaurant, staff very welcoming and helpful,
Specially the friendly hostess,
Food was so nice and everything was made fresh,
All the meals are made with Halal meat and poultry,
And they have kids meals (pizza, chicken nuggets) for whoever doesn t want to have the indian cuisine.
The ambience is nice, big table, comfortable chairs,
I would definitely recommend this place for indian food.
Awesome food, big proportions, kids friendly, spacious seating. Never had such a delicious north indian food in Australia!
Just went to the restaurant. We are very disapointed. One lady refused us to come in. They accept only indian people. I will never recommend this place.
I never write these reviews, but this place is literally the best Indian I've had in Australia, including pretty fancy places that charge twice as much. Whenever we drive anywhere near Ballarat, it's like "oh sweet an excuse to go to masala valley". So good.
Great Malai kofta - their signature dish in Vegetarian Menu. Was really touched by the hospitality of the owner
Got delivery tonight and have never tried this place before. Very nice and authentic. Using real spices and was fresh. Will be returning
Thank you
Really good food everything was great. Helpful friendly staff/owners made some good suggestions. It was my son's 13th birthday we got some complimentary desserts to try it was his choice coz he loves curry will definitely be back. I recommend giving them a go if you haven't already.
We had the most delicious meal tonight. I wish my stomach was bigger so I could have eaten more! Can recommend the Korma.and the pakoda.and the samosa.and the handi.and the makhani.really good value and amazing flavour.will definitely be back!
I've tried a few indian places around Ballarat and this one is my fave. Slightly more expensive then some but portion size is huge, especially big fluffy garlic naan, Soo good! Their butter chicken is creamy rich and delicious and the biryani is good too. This is the only take out indian we'll buy in Ballarat now, no need to try others. Keep up the good work!
First time dining out after lockdown. Best customer service, the food was absolutely beautiful, best Indian food I have had in Ballarat
Quality experience. Food Taste was fantastic. The staff was so friendly and will help you have amazing experience. The place was great, environment and ambience was all well organised.
Restaurant offer indian and pakistani cuisine with a touch of desi masala.
Really appreciate on really hot naan bread with chicken handi curry.
Recommended.
Bad things: Xmas decorations still up, insufficient mask signage, and smaller drinks choice. Everything else was brilliant. Cheap tidy quick friendly and delicious. My partner is a butter chicken officianado and thought this was one of the finest things she had eaten in her life.
Took the family here for dinner Friday night, easy parking at the rear. The food here is fantastic we tried beef korma, a butter chicken and a prawn makhni, naan breads, garlic bread.
As a Indian food lover i highly recommend Masala Valley.
The food was very nice. Moreover Asif is a great personality. You must try biryani over there
He was great to talk
He offered us lassi also at the end
I went to this place few weeks ago and Unfortunately didn't enjoy at all. I can see other people's reviews they are quiet happy. Let me put my opinion.
We ordered vegetables briyani, tikka masala goat curry rice and nan. Veg Briyani had no taste of briyani than fried rice with some diced vegetables. Goat curry had no flavour but over spiced and too much oil. Same with chicken tikka, too much oily and no flavour. However rice and nan were ok.
It was a lonely lunch with only 2 of us in the restaurant. No music or background sounds but the best paneer I have ever had.
Lovely friendly service and great food.
I’d give it a 5 star if I knew what my level of hot was.
I thought I was a 5.
I’m about a 3
We had tried another Indian restaurant in the area and the food was a real disappointment. Finding Masala Valley on that same trip to Ballarat during the Christmas holidays was redeeming for our trust in Indian restaurants and their food. The North Indian naan, curries and chicken tikka were fabulous and they were kind enough to make the dishes spicier for our pallets. Very friendly and accomodating staff. They even had gluten free rotti on the menu covering dietary requirements for all to enjoy.
We absolutely loved the place. One of the best goat curry we had in a long time. Service was good too. The owner served us some complimentary tea. My mum loved it.
Best food, roti’s are too good. Drove all the way to this place from Melbourne. Visited more than 3 occasions never disappointed, food taste remains same. Love visiting this restaurant.
Moving from Melbourne to Ballarat, I really struggled to find a good Indian restraunt. Trust me when I say I've tried them all. This one is by far the best.
Really nice atmosphere! Beautiful staff. Amazing food!
