The bacon and lobster meat burger had no flavour, barely any bacon and had a concentration of salt in the middle. $60+ for two people did not represent what we received. Very underwhelming. Rip-off actually.

GET THE CHEESEBURGER but hold the tomato. TRUST ME!

We were having a team lunch and they all voted for here. I'm GF so was trepidatious but the bun was okay. The rest of the team said they would order again and rated the burgers and the vegetarian loved the Falafel bowl.

Can’t believe it took me so long to try this place! Bacon cheeseburger was top notch and service was fast and friendly. Will be back again soon for more Disco fries for sure.

Very friendly staff who welcomed me as soon as I arrived. The food was delicious and they had a decent selection of vegan options. On Friday nights they have a special discount during dinner time.

Most delicious burgers and the chips are deliciously crunchy.
Customer service was brilliant.

I ordered 2 breakfast burgers that were cooked perfectly! I especially love the fluffyness of the buns and they way they cook the scrambled eggs. The people working there are very nice and the food took less than 10 minute to be served. It was priced reasonably at an average of $14/burger.

My husband and I recently had lunch at Smithburg and we loved it! We had Cheeseburger, Spicy cheeseburger, Corn ribs, Popcorn cauliflower, and Bacon dip. The burgers had so much flavour and I loved that the meat patty was not super thick. The bacon dip was ridiculously delicious. They should put that dip in a jar and sell it. The highlight of the meal was definitely Corn ribs. Very different and absolutely delicious. The service was great and the owner was super nice. Highly recommend Smithburg and Corn ribs.

I sincerely believe the place is overrated! Definitely a nice vibe and chips were good but the burgers very very ordinary. The customer service even worse than the burgers. We were served no cutlery or water. The wait time for our order was over 25 mins even through the restaurant was not even half full. Anyways good for tourists and for occasional walk ins. There are far better eating options in the market

Multiple times they have turned out great burgers and sides. Nothing fancy but absolutely delicious

The second time here, I wanted to make sure that the perfect burger I had was still perfect. It was! Juicy. Big. Delicious. How we want all our burgers, right? ;-)
The side order of Sweet Potato fries were, TO. DIE. FOR, that's right I am yelling it, as they are that good, the perfect crunch on the outside, the perfect softness on the inside, and, the perfect flavour explosion in my mouth! See you all next time.

Ever been in a situation where you’re craving a juicy burger but your wife/girlfriend/partner wants to eat clean and healthy? Look no further than Smithburg. This place knows how to do a proper burger, and not only that, they put so much care and effort into providing healthy and clean options too. I’ll start with the burger. I had the fried chicken burger - I’ve had many of these at many different burger places, and the one from Smithburg definitely stands out as the best in recent memory. Juicy, tender, well seasoned, crispy chicken with all of the other fillings extremely well balanced. I can’t wait to go back and try one of the beef options. As for my wife, we were blown away by the presentation and delivery of the seasonal greens and grilled chicken - the greens (broccolini, snow peas and beans) were cooked to perfection, and the dressing (lemon, olive oil, salt and pepper) was simple and clean and the perfect accompaniment. Huge shoutout to the owner, servers and kitchen staff - we dined as part of a large group and the service was efficient, genuine and attentive. Found our new go-to when around South Melbourne!

Awesome place with delicious burgers that rival places like Grilld in terms of variety, price and flavour.

Fries were cooked to perfection. Atmosphere great. Staff were attentive and friendly *Shoutout to Tate who looked after us*.

The burgers are okay. Not out of this world but good enough. Not large which is disappointing for a burger joint. Interesting take on the original burger so you’re sure to find one you like. Note: this diner is located on the edge of the markets.

Lovely food there home made Big Mac sauce is a must try absolutely delicious highly recommend this place.

Delicious burgers went 3 times in the space of two weeks! The cheeseburger is amazing and the fries are so good. Excellent gluten free bun, and excellent service can’t wait to go back soon.

100% recommend this place! Ive been a couple of times already as I love it! Best burger I’ve ever had and the best sweet potatoes fries too!

Our family of 3 (2 adults, kid) visited on a Thursday night after hubby raved about the Falafel salad. Cannot fault - affordable, friendly genuine staff, prompt service, clean spaces with indoor or outdoor seating.

We loved it and cleaned our plates. Everything we ordered was super delicious and exceeded expectation. Hubby especially returned for the falafel salad.

My 7 yo claims it is the best burger that he has ever had! (He ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger).

I had the Nashville chicken and a mulled wine. Very yummy!

Keep up the good work we will definitely be coming back.

My 2nd time here. I had the double cheeseburger with 2 extra meat patties, best burger ever. The Bacon sauce is to die for. Shout out to the awesome friendly waitress. Next time I'll turn up at 10am and not earlier. See you maybe next Saturday morning.
