Mamasita

Mamasita hosted a pop up and we enjoyed a take-away banquet at home. Loved every bite! Generous amount of food and the quality was maintained through the re-heating at home.

Delicious take home meal and Sangria to help us through lockdown. Mamasita set up an amazing pop up restaurant in our community, it was so well organised, great selection of food and drinks, which were all so yummy.

We were lucky enough to contribute in the Mamasita at home event during lockdown and it did not disappoint! All the food was so delicious and was provided in a way that made it so easy to prepare for serving. The Smokey margaritas were also a winner! Would definitely do this again if the opportunity comes up!

Mamacita's "On the Road" Tour had them stopping by at The Last Piece in Wheelers Hill during Lockdown 6.0 and the Feed Me platter was so bloody good!

I’ve always loved Mamasita, but I was particularly impressed by their Heat at home banquet. Easy to follow instructions, delicious food and I loved the Spotify playlist to play along at home. It really made the whole experience very lovely.

A very disappointing experience and a far cry from what this place was a few years back. The food was a let down overall - the potato side tasted stale and cold (you would at least expect fresh potatoes for the price you pay). The fish main was dry however I will say the sauce was good. The only redeeming part of the meal were the tacos which were very good. The main guy who greeted us upon entry was rude and arrogant. The other wait staff however were lovely and attentive.

This review was a long time coming! (Kept forgetting sorry hahaha) We celebrated my partners 31st here and we all have such a great time! The service was amaazing, our waitress Drew was fab! Super attentive and great banter. Looved the whole experience. Big shout out to Miguel, Curtis, Frankie and Joe for super yummy food! Hope y'all enjoyed the cake! ;) Thanks again guys! Xx

Great service good food even though we didn't like the beef, barely touched it and had to return because sauce tasted weird.

I got wrong flavored drink served but the waitress was actively willing to fix the mistake.

She took the beef back and asked if we want anything else. We ordered second round of pork belly and fish tacos because they were delicious. Definitely recommended to have those.

Octopus was a bit plain but we still ate it. Corn on cob was good too. We didn't get charged for beef which is nice because we didn't eat it.

At the end, we were happily surprised that the second round of tacos were complementary as well even though we didn't ask for free food. So, well done on customer service thank you

The food here was so tasty, fresh, light, healthy and delicious. My friend and I kept ordering more. Highly recommended. Will definitely go back.

Great tacos, pastrami taco was awesome. Margaritas were great, Tommy’s reserve was 10/10 and coconut and burnt pineapple desert was awesome.

The food was amazing, couldn't ask for more flavour. The drinks were beautiful and packed a punch.

The staff were incredible, speedy and attentive. The space was beautiful, while the ambience made the experience unforgettable

Aside from the smaller portion size, the Mexican food at this restaurant is tasty, fresh and feels relatively healthy. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a quick lunch.

I love this place, well priced and the food, service and atmosphere is fantastic. Highly recommend you try dishes from every part of the menu.

Everything I have tried on the menu has been great. Great food, great drinks. Some seats are better than others but if you get a view out of the window it's pretty good. Friendly and professional staff who were genuinely helpful. A nice but not overly formal atmosphere. The one restraint in Melbourne I do not mind paying the premium for at all

Mamasita is a place that borders fine dining and casual dining; a little expensive but has a laid-back atmosphere, nice bar and an open kitchen. Food is amazing, especially the tacos. Recommended for date night:)

A distinctly average mexican at a premium price. Our waiter was employing sales tactics on us trying to allude to the fact a number of offerings may have been on the house but in fact when the bill came we were charged for these. Relentlessly throughout the evening he tried to upsell us on menu items. We had gone out for a nice meal in the city not to buy a second hand car. Food was meh.edible but nothing I would be rushing back for. Far better quality mexican food in Melbourne for much more affordable prices. In fairness the establishment was in a lovely setting

This place never disappoints. Been coming here for years. Always great food and cocktails. They’ve been consistent over the years. Highly recommend.

I did not want to say the food here is very bad, but it did make me disappointed.

Everything has chips, avocado.like the other Mexican restaurants, but the taste of tacos r so so even not better than many other places.

The only reason I had been interested in this place for a long time is that they have Mole on their menu, comparing with most of the Mexican restaurants r all just tacos, it attracted me too much!
But the Duck dish with mole made me very disappointed, it just had a tiny bit of mole sauce, the duck cooked very well but the flavor is not the one I experienced in Mexico.
