Malvernvale Hotel

Perfect. I brought along 4 friends who had not been to The Malvernvale previously, and they all commented on the meal and the quality of the venue. I'm lucky, it's my local!

Nice and casual place to eat, lots of choice on the menu and everyone is happy. Food comes out fairly quickly and good friendly service. Great environment and the host is fantastic.

Fantastic food at very reasonable price. Huge serves of quality food which were very tasty. Lamb shanks was 2 shanks, ribs plate was huge and the beetroot and pumpkin salad is amazing. Kids meals were really good too. Excellent value. Approx 20 carparks at rear and ample street parking. Very clean venue. Would highly recommend and definitely will return.

On our recent visit to Melbourne from Brisbane we were highly recommended to try out the dinner at the Malvernvale Hotel.
We made a booking for 4 adults, on the day of our arrival we were promptly checked in by Chris the Manger and shown to our seats in the dining area.
We noted that on the Thursday there was the steak special so we ordered our Porter House Steaks with all the added extras.
The steaks were perfectly cooked to our request and served promptly by a friendly waitress.
We ordered our drinks from the bar, with no problems.
At the end of our meals, Chris passed by and checked on how our meals were, we provided our honest feedback about the casual relaxing, friendly bistro experience, great menu selection all representing value for money.
As a result we have no hesitation in recommending this great venue to families and friends.

Always a family favourite for people out of town. Great reliable food and service with reasonable prices.

The staff are super friendly and efficient, the food is in perfect portion and high quality steaks on Thursdays.
We love the atmosphere, warm and family friendly. Just love it!

Ordered Nachos at 7, everyone else’s food from my table came out, its now 8: 30 and I’m sitting here like where’s my food. I asked and they told me there were no nachos left. Talk about bad service, I was waiting hours for food and they couldn’t have told me sooner? Food was lovely but wasn’t keen on the service.

There on Monday night. Four in the party. Service is great (if you avoid the young males). Food very good. A nice place to go.

This is a very busy pub and it's huge. Great variety of food on menu. Have eaten here many times and have always been happy with food. Staff extremely busy but always manage to be friendly. Service can be a little slow but given the number of tables it's to be expected. Gets quite loud but has a nice atmosphere.

Well deserved 5 star bistrol. Good location, very decent and clean. A bit of everything to entertain young and old. Menu has a good variety of small plate and main. Food is of high quality as a bistrol. Sports bar with pool table for the teens. Poke venue for the senior after dinner. Parking available at the back. Street parking outside the hotel.

My friends took me there.first time visitor! I would give it another go when it is appropriate.

Very good service, had seafood platter the squid was divine, tender a big well put together meal the waitresses were most attentive.

The delivery driver who blocked the car park and stared screaming was a disgrace and ruined our day. Teach them some manners!

Shocking meal - had the seafood platter - the fish and calamari was floury and doughy - not cooked completely - I didn't finish the meal - waste of $38. I asked for receipts - bought somersby pear cider - got a different receipt and I was given an apple cider when I asked for a pear. I wouldnt recommend not go back.

Fantastic food at a great price. We have been eating here for many years, and the food and service has always been excellent, and affordable.

My favourite for over 30 years. Food is always delicious and love the new area in front.
The staff are lovely especially the wait staff.

The big screens were perfect for watching the World Cup with mates while also being able to enjoy the amazing food and drinks. 100% would recommend

Front bar for Nannas and kids. Back bar for young men in hoodies, mullets & moes and older blokes catching up! Good solid pub food with a menu big enough to ensure there’s always something for everyone.

Well that was the best quality parma I've ever had and I would know, my family make me eat them on every body's birthday

Venue is well laid out & staff friendly.
We ordered the $30 Flat head with chips & salad. Batter was massive & thicker than the fish fillet inside
Salad was a spoonful of leaves mix. Chips ok.
We’d return for dinner but choose something else!
