We booked last minute for dinner and got in straight away. Even though there were quite a number of take aways and people sitting in the service was quick and all the staff were so friendly. The food was easily the best Thai food I’ve had. The home made wonton and satay chicken skewer were so delicious! We also had red pumpkin curry, yellow curry and satay beef all of which had fresh delicious vegetables and flavourful sauces. And sitting on the balcony at sunset was really lovely. Definitely worth driving 1 hour round trip and we will be back!

The best Thai food I've ever had Scrumptious food and friendly staffs. Really loved the ambience. Wanna visit them again.

The food was prepared quickly, and was very good. The vegetables were cooked well and the meat was good. I had the coconut rice, which seemed to be made differently than at other restaurants and I cant say that I loved how it was done, but it's up to personal preference.

Sorry to edit my review, changing it from a 5 star to a 3 star. Finding now a days a major difference in the quantity of the items. Not sure what made them to do this. Food is still tasty, but not worth the value for money you pay. You pay $17 for a special fried rice and you get one medium sized prawns in it, not good enough

Placed an order through Uber Eats at 6: 20pm, preparing, cooking, being delivered at 7: 24pm. I saw that my food was changing drivers multiple times, so I called, the lady I spoke to assure me that my order was being cooked and my food was coming they were just very busy. Then at 8: 10pm my order is cancelled. Called Malee Thai no answer. No Food. No Explanation. Not happy.

The meal was great however the venue itself was extremely hot (well over 90c). We had to keep asking for refills as the water in our glasses kept evaporating. The main door handle was also scalding hot and I burnt my hand as I attempted to open it. I suspect someone had used a blow torch to heat it up prior to my arrival.

Yummy Thai food. Called ahead as there was a bit of a wait due to COVID restrictions. Really enjoyed the curry puffs and massaman curry.

The food is sensational and the speed of preparation was second to non. I ordered direct through the new Malee Thai online ordering platform from their website. It was very easy to use. I will be back soon.

Ordered take away vegetarian curry. Cost $16. When delivered I opened it up to find a handful of veg and the rest sauce. No rice either.
Very overpriced. I’m disappointed.

Unfortunately tonight Malee Thai fell way short. It was chaos. I ordered over the phone and was told a 30 minute wait - at 45 minutes we went to collect. No order. No food. No dinner on Valentines Day.

We thought from the beginning that if our food tasted half as good as it looked, then we were in for a treat. And yes.it was a treat. The “mild” wasn’t namby pamby. It still had a kick. The “medium” would have plenty of life for most people. The service was attentive and respectfully friendly. Price-wise: there were two of us. We had entrees, mains and a rice. Two cokes and three beers. I felt $79 for all this more than reasonable.
On a subsequent visit, though, four of us dined together for a total bill of just over $100. They kindly allowed us to split the bill 50/50. Two weeks later my elderly mum rang me to say that while I had been only charged my half, my Mum has been charged the entire amount. We were overcharged by $50+. I emailed them to ask them to check their figures for that day, and if they were $50 over for the night, that money belonged to my mum. They never replied. So while the food was great, I probably won’t be back.

We were two couples having a New Years Eve dinner sitting outside on the veranda. The staff was super accommodating and friendly. The four of us shared all three courses, a mixture of vegetarian, seafood and meat and every dish was fantastic. We have eaten here before and will definitely come back

Too expensive compared to other Thai restaurants, the average prices are 3 - 4 bucks higher even with smaller portion of meal.
