After tiring day on the Spirit ordered through Malee. 2 special fried rice was very disappointing as nothing special about it as predominantly rice and little else. 1 piece broccoli 1 piece of cauliflower 2 prawns and 2 carrot rings.

Great value meals. Friendly staff made sure we were warm in winter. Had 3 mains meals, an entree and drinks. Would come back for lovely Thai food.

The Dining area needs a makeover, very tired.
The waiter was pleasant.
The manager seemed to grit her teeth when smiling, a bit awkward feeling.
She didn’t seem at all interested in her patrons.
The toilets were locked. I guess you need to ask for a key.
The atmosphere is non existent.
The prawns were excellent.
The Garlic Pepper stir fry was awash with oil and salt.
I really hope they can pick up the ball here but we won’t be back until it’s sorted.

Sorry but ordered the Massaman Curry. Potato was very under cooked. Beef was chewy. Very disappointing!

The girls were lovely and helpful the food was discusting chicken was dry and spring rolls had no flavour would never go again

Had lunch with 2 friends today. We shared our dishes and it was just superb. Mixed plates for entree and the Seafood Green Curry was delious. The sauce was spot on. As for the Crispy Pork Stir-fry. It was top class. Thankyou and see you again soon.

This is the third time we have been promised a delivery time.only for it to blow out by an hour. The management is clearly hopeless and this will be the last time we use the restaurant. We have been customers for a number of years but lately they are seemingly incompetent. Food is generally of good quality. Why state delivery time of 6.10 to 6.20pm.to be told 30mins later that it is 7.15 to 7.30pm. We are done with them.

I have been going to Malee thai for a couple of years now, and am always satisfied with the service and food quality. I regularly order over the phone, for a takeaway meal and pick it up myself (order earlier on weekend nights!). The vegetable and/or chicken pad thai noodles are always incredibly delicious and always plenty of veg/meat provided. Vegetable spring rolls are fresh every time, nice and crunchy! I have never had a negative experience here:)

Terrible awful service, will try to give you cheap opened bottles of soft drink, must pay extra for any sauce to be served with satay sticks, roti is oily and reheated in microwave. Must order on QR code with no instructions for dine in. Food is bland and there are much tastier and friendlier Thai places in Geelong.
We wanted to support our local Thai. There was no one to handle customers at the front, there was no heater on inside or music the whole time, a chef sat us down and said there’s no table service or menus, that we use a QR code to order.
This was fine as I had used something similar at other venues during the pandemic however there were no instructions on how they’d like you to order on the website.
We eventually ordered but then they were then annoyed at us as the website automatically was set to delivery which I didn’t realise as it’s a tiny icon in the corner of the website.
Knowing there was no service we ordered three drinks in total for the two of us, all were soft drink cans as specified on the website, when my partners drink arrived it came in a glass but without the can, I asked if we can have the can served with the other drinks but they said they only do glasses of drink for dine in and you can only have the can of drink if you get takeaway, I clarified they had cans, they did but said we weren’t allowed to have cans we had to have the already opened 1.25L soft drinks in the fridge. I felt as I was paying $4 per can we were allowed to ask for the can, I understand it’s cheaper for them to serve us glasses of flat opened bottles but didn’t think it was a big ask, she said she’d have to check with her boss.
She came back and said all the drinks we ordered will be free but we’re not allowed to have any cans, I didn’t enjoy the drink nor understood why I couldn’t have a can but if it was going to be free I thought let’s just eat what we ordered and get out of here.
During the meal the boss in the kitchen glared angrily at us. We tried to finish the meal as quick as we could as we felt so I welcomed the whole time.
When I went to pay she tried to charge for all the drinks, I said you said they’d be free she said no you have to pay because they are served in a glass dine in, I said if that’s the case don’t specify cans on the website, she continued to argue I said to be honest we had felt pretty unwelcome d the whole time and that the lack of service was terrible, she said everywhere in the future will be using QR codes to order and I said even if that were true I think they would still talk to, check in with and allow customers to ask questions. She cut me off and kept sarcastically saying thank you.
Needless to say we will never bother again, the main was ok, the entrees and rice very bland but the service was memorable for all the wrong reasons.

Hated the app ordering. We duplicated on 5 entrees and this should have prompted staff to check but they didn't. There was only 5 of us. No atmosphere. Staff although efficient didn't want to engage. Food was mediocre. So much cauliflower in every dish. Meat dishes had very small amounts of meat. We sat on the balcony as the inside wasn't welcoming as it had stock piled up against one wall. Tables were sticky.

Sorry won't be going back. Spent over $240 no drinks. Hugely disappointed

The best Thai not only in Highton but the best Thai in Geelong.
The staff truly do compliment the amazing FOOD!
Fresh meat and produce is the key and makes for the most delicious and affordable Thai.
Thanks for beer it really topped my experience tonight

Order no E396A through uber eats. A special fried rice.
Its actually tasteless. Didnt wanna comment on this but after you mentioned me that i have never placed an order this is the proof.

I really like the food. But just need to mention how impersonal is when it comes to the menu app. I loved to read the old paper menu and a bit of a chat with the waitress. But the app just changed it all. Can you leave some old fashion menus?

Disappointing fare. Curry puffs are usually nice but these were almost tasteless and satay sauce was below par. Main dish also did not impress.
Will not be going back.

Got given the wrong order (despite being assured it was correct/read out again before we took away), and what did arrive was bland and small serving size. Won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend.

Clearly the entrees are meant for 2 people. They all come in 4s. As I came alone I asked if I could
have just 2 satay sticks. The nice waitress said I could but suggested to have 2 of one and 2 of something else. Perhaps she anticipated push back from the kitchen. I agreed though it was a bit more than I wanted. A short while later she returned and told me the chef didn't want to mix dishes. So I asked for just 2 satay sticks again. That was not possible either. I was given 4 (without further negotiation) and they would put what i didn't want in a box to take home. I reluctantly went along. Pretty inflexible and no way to run a restaurant. The Pad Thai was average. Wouldn't recommend this place especially if you're planning to go alone.
