Magic Momo Kafe reviews
64Possibly the best Momo (Nepalese/Tibetan Dumplings) place in town. They have significant range. We tried their Chilli Momos (favorite), Sandheko Momo (Chat style Momo's), Crunchy Momo (Vegetarian) and their classic momo which comes with its Chutney for dipping. Definitely Chilli Momos was my favorite BY FAR! They also make Chowmein Noodles which are pretty authentic and delicious. Highly recommend anyone who wants to try dumplings which are different to the usual and with a bit of spice. Genuinely impressed at their superb quality.
The people and hospitality here was good. We didn't like the tea that we ordered where they were more than happy to resolve the problem.
Loved the Sukiti Sandheko, and the momo were also quite good.
We ordered for bhutan set but they provided us chicken giblet set and when asked was told "this is the system here”. Less professionalism. Not satisfied with service.
Definitely one of our favourites in West Footscray. Awesome momos, generous and tasty servings of mains. Friendly customer service as well.
Only annoying thing was the door kept opening with freezing cold air and we had to constantly getup to close the door.
Apart from that no complaints. Would recommend this place
There is limited options for someone who wants to try the Momo dumplings. So with that in mind this place does stand up to the quality one hopes for in good Momos.
One of the best place one could find in Melbourne for Nepalese dishes! The taste is so authentic and delicious and the food is worth the price. Highly recommended
Most of the time I visit magic momo kafe and food served are very tasty but I couldn't understand whenever I do take away or uber eats food given is worst. I just ordered jhol momo where soup is disgusting no taste at all and even momo doesn't tastes good. I love to eat momos from here but take away is worst, it's the second time it happened. 1st time I called them and told them about it but still the same case.
Not as expected. Momos couldn't even stay intact.fried meat was stretching like plastic in mouth.wait time was too much even on a quiet day. Customer handling skills of staff were good though.
Gave just a 15ml sauce with 30 momos and 3 chowmiens. Didn't realise this up until I reached home. In addition to this, the chicken in the chowmein was rubbery. Didn't like the experience, won't visit again.
Momo platter just 15$ and it worth it. Very very tasty.i will say one of the best momo in city! Love it
Great food. If you love Nepali Cuisine then you would love it. But place is little congested. You may need to wait for sometime if it’s busy.
Love this place, if you are from India and you miss momos this is the place you go to. There is a great variety of mama's and their rates are quite reasonable.
If you are in western suburb and wanna try Nepalese taste, you should visit them. They have typical Nepalese food that are only popular in Nepal. Newari khaja set and momo platter? Always been my favourite.
Best MoMo I have ever tested. I am a MoMo fan and have tried varieties of MoMo. And Magic MoMo is thw only place where I got to eat all varieties in a single plate. Friendly staff, cozy environment with soothing Nepalese folk music on the background. Will be going quite frequently.
Simple and delicious.
The flavours, fragrances and textures of the food are simply great.
The place looks simple and feels authentic. Not fancy, not too quiet or noisy, not shiny.
The MoMo dumplings are recommended (we tried the Sandheko spicy ones).
The Newari set is also great but at 16$ is marginally pricy.
The best thing about coming to Melbourne was magic momo. Each and every food in here has unique flavour and taste. Loved it all.would definitely recommend everyone to come and visit at least once.you wont be disappointed. Best Nepalese restaurant in Australia I reckon️.
5 piece choila momo 12$ seriously.everysingle time i visited it was only $5-7$. Will never visit this place again total ripoff.
Ordered momo from uber eats and got frozen momo re steamed. Thats not how you maintain customer service. Just because its a take away dont make food bad.
Too many varieties of momos and ambience like a typical nepalase cafe, small place,
the only bad thing is they dont sell any liquor but have BYO.
The food was okay, not very good, took 30 minutes for only 3 dishes.and the food was so spicy that a normal person couldn't eat it.disappointed.
