Magic Momo Kafe

Used to go there with my local friends, couple of years ago, it was small. Now its well decorated and extended. Server was sweet and nice. Food were great. Only thing is cashiers do both serving and billing. Highly Recommend

Definitely one of the top chicken momos I have had to date. What I enjoyed about this place was the momos were balanced well with spice, better than others I have had but where they were lacking was with the juiciness of the filling. It was bordering on dry. I went the again the day after to this same issue but now they were served to us a little cool aswell …
We also had the noodles which was a rather generous portion. This was great and definitely worth ordering.

Very good service from Manisha. We usually come on our lunch break (which is 30mins) so have to pre-order to get food in the ready to serve stage.

Great little surprise in Footscray! Nepalese food is definitely under rated and worth a shot if you haven't tried it. This place's main speciality is "momo" which is basically dumplings with various spicy sauces. I recommend the Chilli Momos & their mixed vegetable soup - it's incredible! The staff are super friendly and the prices are fairly reasonable.

Dropped in for their famous Chow mein. Served quickly by excellent staff. The meal was huge but I was assured that I could take home leftovers in a take away container. The Chow mein was delicious on the whole but the pieces of chicken were dry and hard like they had been used or cooked before. Disappointing because the rest of the food was delicious and fresh.

Was our first visit to this Cafe. Suddenly felt like we entered a small secluded Mountain cafe in the northern India serving Indo Chinese and Momos!

The Chowmein is Undoubtedly the best we've had in the entire Melbourne. The Momos were pretty amazing too. Apllauded the chef and the Service staff and they heartily smiled and welcomed the appreciation. Absolutely worth it! Most definitely would Again to try other dishes and ofcourse the chowmein!

FOH are very polite, professional and respectful.
Wait time for food to arrive at table was okay.
Food tasted good.
- Buff Chowmein was nice and okay amount of sukuti (jerky) in it.
- Lamb Choila was nice too, loved the combination. Loved it.
- Sadheko momo was a bit disappointing compared to what I had previously at the same place.
- Lemon lime butter was disappointing as it tasted to me as it was from coles/woolies. Won’t order again. (I really hope I am wrong in this one)
- Arna beer is a Nepali beer. There were few more option for nepalis beer
We paid around $103 for the order. Not bad.

Good taste at reasonable price. Plenty of options to choose from. The ambiance is good.
Outside sitting is also pretty nice. Staff is friendly.

Delicious food, welcoming host and worth the money you spend. Tried Nevari thali, momo's and loved it. Would visit again to try other dishes. Wash area/Toilet needs some repair.

Quirky decor. Friendly staff. Tasty beer, do try Nepalese Ice. Food is sensational, do try the chicken chow mien and do get it with extra chilli's!

Beautiful display of momos! Never had Nepalese food before and thanks to this place, I’d like to try other Nepalese dishes.

We had breakfast and lunch both at a time time here, wow I just loved the flavour of Momo and newari khaja set.

The food was good but the waiting time was way too long. We had 3 shared food took almost 2 hrs for food service, despite there were just 3 tables.

Everything here is amazing, especially the newari food. But never order a buff momo here. I would have rated it 5 but buff momo here us just so bad.

The staffs were nice as they did not charge for buff momos that I ordered.

No so welcomming … the old man in the front might be owner should be removed and people should be welcomed with smile

Buff momo kima was very smell instant of not charging or offering another meal they just charge us for nothing.

Really nice restaurant, ordered takeaway and the food was amazing. The fried rice was very different from the traditional special fried rice. Momo was also perfect. I’ll definitely order again.

First time I've been to a Nepalese restaurant and I'm now a fan. Great food, friendly and helpful staff at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended. 10/10
