Bouncers let anyone in with no regard to capacity. Never been in a club so packed with people, the worst bar/club I’ve ever been to.

Customer service is non existent and terrible.
I went at a quiet time to enquire about the function space. I stood at the bar and watched 3 bar staff work on one order for about 5-10 minutes before walking out. Not one of them acknowledged my partner and I standing there nor did they want to service us. What a cold environment!
I am glad it happened made my mind up very quick, not a place I want to throw my money at.
Would never recommend!

Just had the most amazing evening here, food great, booze great but MEG! Was amaze, thankyou for making this birthday celebration the best.

Absolutely disgusting this venue was booked deposit paid, you were contacted numerous of times Simon but oh your response was will get back to us and we’re told don’t worry we will work it out, alls we wanted to do was re schedule the date we even said we don’t care if it’s later on in the year we were happy to do what you could do but no instead you more of less have come back said nope not doing it and if we wanted to reschedule it’s another 1000 dollars, so you happily took the three thousand out of the account and no one could go, as so many people had covid and people are isolating, due to the world that we are living in with this pandemic really everything is so un predictable, hard for business’s totally understand and it’s hard for people aswell, REALLY some one puts up a Facebook post and say we were refunded we were NOT don’t lie that is disgusting and really seeing that your saying we were refunded why don’t you refund the money back I can not believe in this state that we are in that you took the whole amount out and wasn’t even willing to change the date really in these hard times that we are in you happily took out from some ones account, would not recommend this venue to anyone

I've hosted 20+ functions at Maeve Fox and never had anything but an awesome experience. Fantastic flexibility/variety in function spaces and awesome staff!

Such poor service and that was just over the phone spewing I have to give one star rather give none, no money refunded took the whole amount when the function wasn’t going a head, will not recommend this venue to anyone, just got told lies be careful if you book because if you have to change the date will cost you another 1000 on top of the already paid 1000,

Great venue and awesome staff! I have been to plenty of functions here over the years and they are always of a high standard. Hopefully be back soon.

Cannot begin to explain the heartache this venue and in particular Simon has caused leading up to my wedding. My bridesmaids booked this venue for my hens, due to Covid we needed to postpone the event. Simon Pratt pretended to be helpful, told the girls he would happily reschedule and help them out…after 2-3 weeks of no email replies, no phone calls being returned Simon said they would not postpone the event and proceeded to take ALL of the money from the girls- $3000, for a function that we didn’t have, didn’t use and didn’t consume any food or drinks.
Simon you’re a liar, a low life and someone that shouldn’t own or run a business. During one of the hardest times of peoples lives you have happily taken their money and thrown any type of decency or ‘customer service’ out the window.

I also think it’s great that you’re getting all of your friends to write good reviews for you just to get your star rating back up…good on you bud, you poor excuse of a human!

Quality cocktails and really cool vibe
We had a large function at Maeve Fox and stayed a few hours more as the food and vibe was awesome

Had my birthday celebrations here during the most difficult of COVID times and these guys were brilliant. Simon was extremely helpful and accommodating to all of my groups needs. Highly recommend this venue, not to mention the huge selection of beverages. If I could give this place 100 stars I would

Love this bar, sometimes it is a bit busy and loud.but staff have been super polite and friendly every time I've been there!

Had to find a last minute booking for my 30th birthday party. The staff were all amazing. No hiccups, no drama. I was looking at a different venue originally but their friendliness and willingness to help was just not something i could pass. Had a great party, food was great, drinks reasonable, not a single complaint from me and im hard to impress! Good work Meave Fox!

Fox has a great function space upstairs with city views. Allowed me in to the venue earlier in the day to set up lighting and photo booth. Had a blast of a birthday with fantastic food and service from the bar staff throughout the night. Disappointed they didn't have one beer we had requested and that we had to pack up the AV equipment at the end of the night. (Would have loved to sort that out the next day.) All in all- we had an epic party and enjoyed the ample space across the two rooms (especially post Covid.) Thanks

Came on Sunday afternoon to try their half price drinks, and it was definitely worthwhile! Ordered two cocktails which were $12 each after the discount. The only thing that could be improved is the cleanliness of the couches/booths at the back - they all seemed a bit dirty, probably because it was right after a busy Saturday night.

Sorry, incredible bartenders, however the security staff was extremely rude. I was never mistreated in a bar the way I was here. I did a bad move when trying to call my friend to a booth that was available (i got up on the booth as the place was extremely packed, so then my friends could see me and come over). I was advised by security that it was not allowed, which is understandable. But even when I was trying to explain, even when I was saying sorry, the guy was so rude! Cursing and aggressive, when I was trying to apologize. Bad bad experience!

Incredible service and best bar on Church Street. They accidentally double booked us on a Saturday night for a birthday and instead of sending us away, the event manager, Chrissy, opened the private room upstairs to accommodate us. Not only did it have great views, but we could put on our own tunes and had a private bar with bartender, Sarah, who was an absolute legend. Can’t recommend this place enough, we had so much fun!

One of my fave bars outside the CBD.staff are very friendly & chatty, atmosphere is great.shoutout to Sarah Dart for being a killer bartender!

Came here for a cocktail masterclass for a Hen's and we had an absolute ball!
We were well looked after by all the staff and their main focus was definitely providing a great experience for our group.
The cocktails and masterclass were so much fun and I'd definitely come back here for another event or to have a beautiful cocktail.
The venue was also gorgeous!
