Bouncers here were the rudest blokes I’ve ever encountered. The way they spoke to a 19 year old girl was disgusting! They kicked her out of the line for simply saying “what” when they had said something to her. They made out as if she was trying to cause trouble when she hadn’t drawn any attention to herself and wasn’t even drunk. They had a chip on their shoulder and wanted to just abuse their power. Instead of making 19 year old girls cry they should be protecting vulnerable young girls and making it a safe environment for everyone not trying to cause issues for no reason.

We had a booking for 35 people. When we got there, there was no room and we were told that one booth (which can seat 6ppl) was enough. Book here at your own peril.

Excellent cocktails by the knowledgeable bartender. Also excellent value with half price classic cocktails on Wednesdays. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Also very accommodating when we brought in our two young boys.

Small little club/bar, is quite tight for room on the dance floor, and small smokers area, just went there for another drink after the bar across the road closed.

Ben served me, my partner and friends and he was so polite and engaging while he made our cocktails and I have to say, every single one of them tasted so good! I love myself an amaretto sour and it was made to perfection. We really appreciate service like Ben's and need more of it in our current society. Cheers Ben!

We had our engagement party here this weekend and cannot recommend the venue enough! The function space is great, with a city outlook, beautiful seating area, private bar and toilets. We had George and Matilda serving us for the function and they were amazing! Checked in with us regularly on how things were going and if we needed anything else and just all around had friendly, helpful attitudes. Taya made booking and organising the evening a breeze and had heaps of helpful tips and inputs to our selections and schedule. We’ve had so many comments from our friends and family about how delicious the food was and how lovely the venue and staff were. We’re so grateful and truely had a fabulous night! - Kate and Henry

Had my 21st here, and couldn't recommend Maeve Fox highly enough! The booking process, getting information and communication with the team in the lead up was so easy. On the night, they were so lovely and the staff were above and beyond. Huge thank you to Ted, George, Matilda and Paris for being so amazing throughout the night. You guys made sure that each and every person had the best time, and it was easily the best party! So many people commented on how beautiful the venue was and how brilliant the team was too. Thank you!

Such an awesome little bar! Have been going for years as locals and loving it but finally had a function for a bday and the night was amazing. Would recommend for just a drink, bite to eat, watching sport and now even functions!

It was the perfect way to end the day- Simon and the team are super engaging.

Me and a few mates stumbled across Maeve Fox on a Sunday evening after a small walk from the MCG. Found that they do great deals being half price Sunday’s. We were more than happy to stay for cocktails which turned out to be amazing and even got hot food too for a great price. The venue was very nice and clean, and the staff were very accomodating and fun. Will definitely be returning.

Will is the most polite and respectful gentleman ever. Alongside this he served amazing drinks with a smile on his face the whole time.
10/10 would recommend this place to anyone, whether travelling through Melbourne or locals.

Visited this place for the first time last Sunday and I've got to say I was extremely impressed with the impeccable service we were given by the enthusiastic staff members.

I really appreciate the time, effort, care and attention to detail I saw the staff taking when preparing our cocktails. Not only is the bar a nice and vibrant place to catch up with mates, and the half price drinks Sunday a really nice deal which made me check out the place in the first place, but what I'm paying for is also of top quality. While they nailed all our cocktails, my favourite cocktail (the Negroni) was made with the utmost care and tasted amazing!

Great to see staff who are dedicated to their craft.

I had an extremely pleasant experience and I will be returning for sure in the near future!

Went here for a work function was great, had amazing views, friendly staff and amazing finger food. Everyine at the party really enjoyed it.

Hosted my birthday party in the Den at Maeve Fox. It was the perfect private venue for my 35 guests and I had lots of compliments on my choice of venue. The staff were amazing. They also have a karaoke set up which is a lot of fun. Fab venue.

This venue is absolutely incredible for a function. Maeve Fox hosted a group of 65 of my friends on Saturday night and EVERYTHING from the event organisation, set up, food, staff and venue set up was impeccable. This is by far the best event venue space in Richmond and I could not recommend more to those looking for a great time!

George and Ted were incredible. Great personality and service made the whole evening whatever you pay them isn’t enough

An incident happened here while I was at a function. The security did their job professionally and Ted, the bartender did an amazing job. Both of these people deserve a pat on the back. The incident sucked but they were great props to them. Seriously, Ted rules.

Walk up at 8: 30pm on Saturday night, bar is literally empty. Door guy says we can’t come in for a drink because we don’t have a booking. Insane policy. Totally unreasonable.
