Madang Korean BBQ

Food was nice but, the Beef Bulgogi Bibimbap hardly had any beef in it. So, I paid $18 plus surcharge for mainly rice and few other vegetables with a tea spoon of Beef on top. And a little note for the “cool dude” with blond dyed hair. It’s okay to pretend to be cool but, when acting tough with customers just remember that you are working in Hospitality and you get paid to be nice with them and treat them with a smile.

Food was so good I ate two much.
Salt and pepper Popcorn chicken is delicious and so is the Roti with chicken curry.

The only one korean place within 5-7 km of nunawading area that delivers great korean food. Consistency in quality is second to none. You complain about jam pack? Dont come leave. Lol

Awesome place cant wait till they open up again after Covid. Missing the kimchi soup and so many other things. 100% recommend this place, staff are really nice, food is great and the atmosphere is great

Food are quite good. Helpful staffs who would help customers to cook the meat. Quite expensive.

We booked four people in last minute a day before 6 weeks Quarantine. Kind and friendly staff. Several staff attended us and served us in best ways. I would strongly recommended this place for Korean BBQ.

Be wary. Ordered for the first time ever tonight, I was really excited because because there were vegetarian options on the menu (naturally I don't pay much attention to meat options). I ordered a kimchi pancake (and tried to order corn cheese, but that was unavailable), the waiter sounded annoyed over the phone like they wanted to go home. They immediately closed early after I picked the food up and I went home to go enjoy my tasty kimchi pancake.
Well I learnt the hard way that they have 3 kimchi pancakes on the menu (seafood, squid and veg) and the squid and veg kimchi pancake are called the exact.same.thing.on the menu. Luckily I'm not allergic, just disgusted, but not clarifying something like that could result in a very serious medical emergency.
I really wanted to like this place, and maybe I'll try again much more cautiously in future, but as it stands? Proceed with caution if you have dietary or allergy requirements.

I and my friends had foods several times here already. Friendly staffs, excellent and high quality foods. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

My sister's birthday, we called hours early expecting no one to be able to take our call. (3 pm) guess what? We were warmly accommodated and nothing was an issue.

We sat down into a different, modern and an open style eatery and had 3 servers cook at the dining table and talk to us through out.

We learnt some interesting facts about chopsticks and why Korean royalty uses silver and why metal chopsticks are used in Korean where as in other places, they are different again.

Fabulous staff serving beautifully made dishes! We LOVED our meal and plan to return!

At first I low expectation with this restaurant. First impressions I thought it was a basic Korean BBQ restaurant with sub par food options.

The BBQ
I was a little surprised that they served the BBQ last, after given the other dishes. Usually I thought it was BBQ first then other dishes but that is just nick picking. I did enjoy the service for it. Staff were very friendly and helpful in telling us that the BBQ is ready to eat or not. The best part they didnt even rush when serving the next lot of meat. Some other Korean BBQ places they serve the next lot of meat really fast, I rather take my time eating.

The other dishes
Nice to see they provide salad in the BBQ, the only two Korean BBQs that actually provide proper salad are SOKO located in Boxhill and this one. The fried chicken.disppointed. They nailed the crispyness but served in small tiny chicken wings. Really reminds me of wicked wings at KFC. The tempura sides.a little odd to see it on the menu but it felt like it was bought in a frozen pack at coles or some market and just deep fried it. Corn cheese was great but you gotta try my gf's corn cheese haha

Service
I enjoyed their service especially when it was getting busy. Maintained their service really well. Very responsive.

Overall, it is ok. It is your average Korean BBQ restaurant. I gotta come back and try their other dishes.

Clean place, poor service, food was very average, choice of drinks poor. Asked for water - had to wait for over 20 minute and did not get it. Expected a lot more. Would not go back or recommend this place

Ate at Madang last week with family and friends to celebrate my wife's birthday. Excellent Korean restaurant, very tasty food, good range of food on the menu and very good value. A friendly family run place. We will definitely return.

Store staff were friendly and the food was amazing. The entire experience was fantastic. Would recommend.

Excellent Korean BBQ. Good tables and set up. Wonderful food. Great staff who are very competent and a good help with the BBQing. Would go again!

Enjoyed a wonderful Korean BBQ dinner. Very tidy, with cosy quarters. The food was presented well and overall, it was a very enjoyable experience

Seafood pancake was a bit oily, bimbipap, pork bulgogi and chicken wings were tasty, good service

We visited on Sunday night for dinner. No issues getting a table last minute. We had the BBQ where you cook your own food over hot coals on the table with pork belly and king prawns.delicious! We also ordered a mix of different dishes like the squid pancake, bibimbap, fried chicken and were all really tasty! I love good Korean food and this is one of my new go-to places I reckon!

A local favourite because the food is delicious & makes my tummy happy everytime I visit. The staff are attentive, courteous & have a great sense of humour! It's a relatively cheap night out for you & your friends or family. Highly recommend!

The two-person banquets left us very satisfied. Delicious fresh produce and favours were terrific!
