I just want to give a special shout out to Matt! He has been amazing throughout our entire experience with Lumber Furniture. We order a console table off Matt, and throughout the build Matt has kept us updated with photos of its progress. He has definitely gone above and beyond to ensure everything has met out needs! Looking forward to receiving our console table very shortly!

Matt is a perfectionist. He made our 10 seater American Oak dining table a couple years ago and every visitor to our home comments on how beautiful it is. He has also has recently created a beautiful Bespoke bathroom vanity for us which we absolutely love. He takes great pride in his quality workmanship and so he should. Amazing.

I found Lumber Furniture online one Sunday afternoon. I sent an enquiry expecting to have it replied to on the Monday but Matt responded almost immediately. Before the afternoon was complete, I had ordered a 3 m long American Oak table. I was kept updated all the way through the process and when it was delivered it was perfect. Even the delivery driver was incredibly professional. I recently ordered a large custom coffee table and cant wait for it to arrive. Great service and great products.

I have never written a review before but I have been so disappointed with this business that I wanted to share my personal experience, so that you have more insight and accurate information before placing your order.

I was working with Lumber Furniture for a couple of years and liked the idea of being part of an Australian owned bespoke furniture business. I pride myself on high quality workmanship in every piece I produce. I have read a few of the horrible stories/reviews posted here and I have to say I am not surprised. The owners focus is on 'getting the sale' and social media and NOT on following through with the orders and customer service. I use to see some of the job orders that came through and recall communicating that the time frames indicated to the customers were not feasible. I didn't realise at that time that deposits as well as full payment were received before orders had started!

Similar to many customers that had experienced major delays and lack of communication on their orders, I have been waiting on my outstanding payments for months too (over 4 months!). After following up and chasing the owners via multiple texts and emails I have either received a vague response that my outstanding payments are a priority (obviously not) or no response at all.maybe I will receive a reply now that I have posted a review?

I genuinely wanted to share my personal experience so that you are aware of what you are potentially getting yourself into. Reflecting back, there are so many more situations that I could share but I feel like I have conveyed the key points for consideration.

We received our beautiful furniture yesterday, thank you we are so happy. Quality is great.

We just adore our table in American oak. It’s an amazing 3 metres long and so well made.
